Damn it, Where are my Wings?

Every day our trifecta of failed radical Grrlpower™ leadership stacks another load of bullshit on the pile.

Bullshit-o! Just because the lie is repeated it still does not make it true.

Now We Need a F*cking Mask?

Sorry, folks, have had enough of this overbearing, beer-swilling, testosteroMom schoolmarm. Let’s get this straight- 40 days of people roaming aimlessly around Walmarts, Meijer and Dollar Stores because they have nothing left to do other than shop, and now this? Nope.

Up Whitmer’s ass with a mask.

The word Resistance is a two-way street. I am revoking the empress’ wannabe *powers* ’cause SSDD just don’t work for me. I want a real Governor not some DNC colluding vote rigging farce that belongs in jail for non-bid contracts!

I want her 👇

That is what a normal female is, NOT the shitlib slag that somehow got elected to the three most powerful offices in Lansing.

Respect My Authoritah!

It’s almost becoming sad, almost, not quite but almost, to watch “That woman from Michigan” flounder around like a simpleton throwing strands of spaghetti at a wall trying to make anything stick, I mean like with her demographic pandering COVID Taskforce while not that long ago doing selfies mocking our great President Trump in her pink Black Genocide hat.

But I digress.

What really takes the cake now that Gov. Gretchen “Half” Whitmer has fallen out of VP contention with Joementia Biden stating he would pick Big Mike “in a heartbeat” over our beer-swilling ‘helicopter mom’ schoolmarm that’s become the butt of every joke told in this nation after trashing freedom loving Michiganians wanting their jobs and business owners their Right to Commerce back- is the pleading.

“We have a wonderful tradition in this country of being able to dissent, freedom of speech and being able to demonstrate, but we know that the stay-home orders across the country are working,” Whitmer said during a Monday press conference.

“My request was that at the national level they echo that call to stay home and (Pence) conveyed that that was something that they would do,” Whitmer said.

If that is not the death rattle sound of defeat, nothing is.

OK, exit question

If you want a good reason for four more years.

There is a world of difference between someone who thinks that she can lead and someone who has demonstrated it by his accomplishments.

So, what could possibly go wrong here?

Just whose side are they on again, anyway?

Will this go into the goodies and new “rights” Gov. Whitmer will most certainly be espousing on tonight’s SOTS Speech?

Nope.

This one is more about a certain team playing for the wrong side.

Mike Shirkey forgot to use the dollar sign for his 's'

It is what it is.

Mike Shirkey, Michigan’s Republican Senate leader said what he felt at the time, but forgot that triggered people trigger.  Obviously his position is one of institutional respect, and the branches of our governmental authority must work together for the benefit of Michigan.  But straight out calling the governor and her Democrat counter parts a bad name?  Heaven forbid we continue our word oppression of the overly sensitive progressive.

It started earlier this month with Shirkey’s spokeswoman saying the governor “has proven herself untrustworthy” following a series of public events where Whitmer supported an organization — and then vetoed their state funding in her budget standoff with Shirkey and the GOP.

Then Shirkey spouted off in a speech before a group of College Republicans at Hillsdale College, reportedly painting Whitmer and her fellow Democrats as being “on the batshit crazy spectrum,” The Hillsdale Collegian student newspaper reported Thursday.

Oh crap, now he did it.

Making a deal with the devil.

Buried in the headlines this week between yet another fake news story regarding the pending impeachment of Pres. Trump, fixing Gov Whitmer’s line item frenzy (contrary to the media buzz, there is serious talk behind the scenes pertaining to fixing Gov. Whitmer’s not-so little temper tantrum screw-up) and the comedy of errors with the GM-UAW Strike, this story from Lansing surprising got very little attention.

Which gets even more interesting once you are made aware of what the topic of discussion was all about.

Healthy Roads

Former State Senator touches on real reason for continuously expanding Michigan budget.

Pat Colbeck opines on the compromises being paved in Lansing.

“What didn’t get much notice a few years back is that within months of passing a $600 million gas tax hike to ostensibly fix the roads, the state quietly passed a budget “supplemental” bill which transferred $400 million in general funds from the transportation budget to backfill potholes in Medicaid Expansion (aka Healthy Michigan or Obamacare expansion).

You see, the gas tax increase was never truly about our roads. It was about leveraging what is a hot button issue to voters (i.e. the lousy condition of our roads) so that they could have more “walking around money” for other priorities aligned with so-called “special” interests. “

Backfill for healthy Michigan.

Apparently, Medicaid expansion in Michigan is on life support.  And now a great big gas tax is needed to move some more road monies into a transfusion bag.

Should we be at all surprised?

Don’t Say We Didn’t Tell You So

The fallout from Michigan's prop 2 is clear as milk.

Prop 2 was a disaster in the making.

Controlling the process was never going to be neutral, and clearly the control would be in the hands of whichever party controls the elections, the questionable Jocelyn Benson.

We have pointed this out in the past with a series of videos, and now the outcome draws near.  The Michigan Republican Party in trying to ascertain the nature of the process being designed by our current Secretary of State for the NEW Gerrymandering schemes is being stonewalled with ridiculous FOIA fees. From the Detroit News:

The Secretary of State’s office estimated it would cost $45,904 to process an initial Freedom of Information Act request that sought “a vast amount of information” from the department, Chief Legal Director Michael Brady told the Michigan GOP in a June 7 letter.

The state used a “conservative” labor estimate to calculate a $10,049 fee for a “narrowed, but still very broad” second request, Brady said in a separate letter denying a Republican Party appeal.

All they want is an unadulterated explanation from documents addressing the process being formulated from the Sec of State.

Real transparency.

And as many who are familiar with FOIA might know, the cost is supposed to be premised on the labor rates of the lowest paid clerical workers who can perform the task.  This suggests one of two possibilities; that the clerical workers in the state are grossly overpaid, OR that Benson’s office isattempting to keeps it’s motivations and early planning from the people of the satet for political reasons.

One or the OTHER.

National Day Of Prayer.

John 2:9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.

We can all be redeemed.

It is a decision one has to make.  We can accept the grace of God, or we can wallow in bitterness and hatred for others.  Hatred poisons the soul.  It physically manifests as addiction, and it binds us negatively to those with whom we find disagreeable.  Hatred is a trap, and is spiritually incompatible with the professing Christian.

The worst of us are made worthy already in the eyes of God through Christ our Lord.  And surprisingly, some of those who profess this belief cannot get beyond hatred of the man  who is our president.  He lives in their thoughts to be permanently scorned, abhorred, rejected outright. No matter the results of his efforts to secure for us a more prosperous, and healthy nation.

To which I offer this prayer.

Oh Lord, Father, Creator, giver of life, hear the cries of this nation.  Hear the despair that manifests itself as antipathy for the President, a man you have sent to lead our nation.  Right the hearts oh God, of those who cannot separate themselves from the hate to which they hold so tightly in their hearts.  Heal their wounded souls so they might know the difference between disagreement and willful revulsion.

Cure the poison within us Lord, so that we may find the path to you in righteous posture. Cast out our addiction to hatred and indignant pride. Reveal to all the love in Your holy word. Make a way for us to open our hearts and expel that which binds us to continued pain through obsession.

Oh Father hear our pleas.

Show those who seek you, how to love as you instruct. Put us in the paths of those who do not, we your willing servants, so they might know the way to you oh God.  Give us the strength to guide them to you Father in the name of your son Jesus who bore the weight of our sins and offered us eternal life.

Amen.
