Your tax dollars will be used to create the next generation of hard left social justice warriors.
The University of Michigan will open a new quasi charter public high school in partnership with the Detroit Public Schools Community District this Fall. The School at Marygrove will focus on social justice and engineering. Mostly social justice. The Kresge Foundation is also involved in the school, presumably underwriting some of its finances.
The school will be situated in the former Marygrove College Liberal Arts Building at Wyoming and McNichols in Detroit:
Marygrove College was an esteemed Catholic post secondary education institution which was driven into the ground by Catholic social justice warriors over the last decade. It will be closing its doors just as the latest effort of the secular social justice warriors commences. The left is nothing, if not determined.
The Southeastern Michigan Tea Party will he hosting Conservative Commentator Katie Hopkins at their nest meeting on Friday, June 14th. Doors open at 6:00pm with the meeting beginning promptly at 7:00pm.
Ms. Hopkins will be showing her newest project “Homelands” (along with Q&A following).
Here is a brief synopsis of her documentary:
“There is a silent exodus underway in Western Europe – an entire generation no longer feel like they belong. Intimidated by a rapidly growing Muslim population, fearful of the rabid anti-Semitism of the left, and weary of feeling like targets for attack, Jewish and Christian families are on the move, looking for a new place to call home. They have no voice. Homelands in their story.”
A bunch of crazies were elected on Whitmer's coat tails in the 2018 election cycle. Thanks to the largesse of your electric utility. And you.
Anyone with DTE electric and gas service donated about $ 1 towards Governor Whitmer’s election last year. DTE donated $ 840,000 to the Progressive Advocacy Trust and the Michigan Democratic State Center. The Progressive Advocacy Trust is an ill disguised front for the Ingham County Democrats, Ms. Whitmer’s home base.
Both groups supported Whitmer in 2018 through cascade contributions made in turn to Build A Better Michigan in the 2018 primary election and A Stronger Michigan in the 2018 general election. All these groups gamed Michigan election law, laundering corporate contributions and transforming them into political advertising supporting Whitmer.
These contributions eventually wound up at Whitmer’s media shop, Great America Media, a Democratic campaign management outfit on K Street in Washington which placed all her mass media advertising. They paid for her TV ad campaign.
A Republican group, Michigan Jobs and Labor Foundation, was fined $ 18,000 for identical campaign law violations in 2014 The MJALF fine equaled its illegal 2014 advertising expenditures. Build A Better Michigan spent $ 1.8 million in its illegal 2018 advertising campaign, so its $ 37,500 fine was 2.1% of its illegal expenditures.
Governor Whitmer and DTE got a sweetheart deal from our new Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson.
Fellow Michganians, try to keep in mind that we still have 1,335 days remaining with smear merchant, Dangerous Dana.
Nessel’s revelation of the complaint against retired Michigan Court of Claims Judge Michael Talbot is problematic, experts said, since such accusations are usually kept confidential by the Attorney Grievance Commission until and unless public admonishment is deemed necessary.
The gravity of the disclosure is compounded by the fact that the complaint against Talbot had been dismissed months before — something the Attorney General’s office initially did not reveal. One expert said the result of such disclosures is “besmirching reputations,” while another called Nessel’s conduct an “unseemly inconsistency” between two separate parts of government.
The first-term Democrat testified before the Senate Oversight Committee, where she used her opening statement to dispel what she called “misconceptions” about the unit she officially launched last month.
“We are not policing thoughts or words,” Nessel told lawmakers. “While some people in this state may choose to exercise their right to free speech by thinking hateful thoughts, saying hateful words or associating with hate-filled people, as attorney general it is my job to protect that right, not to prosecute it, even if I vehemently disagree with those thoughts, words or associations.“
Lansing — Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said Tuesday she would not enforce a state abortion ban if federal protections are overturned, and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said she would veto any new anti-abortion legislation that reaches her desk.
The first-term Democrats promised a dramatically new approach to abortion and reproductive rights in Michigan during separate speeches at a Planned Parenthood of Michigan conference in Lansing.
“You’ve got a powerful backstop in a veto from my office,” Whitmer said. “But the goal is not just to stop bad things from happening. It’s to set an agenda that respects women and girls and family planning.”
Irresponsible women getting knocked up and owning their choices = bad. “Butchering” infant boys and girls = okay, got it?
Whitmer, Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson make up an “amazing” “triumvirate of women that protect us all in the state,” Planned Parenthood of Michigan CEO Lori Carpentier said during an introduction.
Their parents failed them, and being very generous using it in the sense of a plural. At age 20, and still doing childish ‘muh feelz’ based garbage like that in public, then record yourself doing it – one can tell there wasn’t a male present in the household.
