Well, speaking as a professional driver since the mid-80's (and I'll venture several hundred thousand more miles in my log book than she has), here are two "professional" opinions of her claims and one observation in general.
First, Ms. Boose sorely needs a refresher course in defensive driving 101. If she can't (won't) pay attention to what the four-wheelers are doing around her, she doesn't belong behind the wheel of that bus! If I had any family that rode in her route, I'd demand that district fire her on the spot for admitting to her gross incompetence in this commercial.

Second, part of my job entails trip planning. The driver has final say on where that vehicle does or does not go. And for the record: No, we cannot go anywhere we want (or our employer may want us to go). I'd be more than happy to show Ms. Boose what she has obviously "forgotten" from her bus driving classes in the FMCSR regarding that "oversight" of hers.
If she has an unsafe bridge, then reroute or find another location to drop off the students at. She cannot be legally made to drive over that structure if it is actually unsafe.
Now to my observation: Did anyone happen to catch which district she happens to drive for?
Whomever edited this spot went out of their way to hide the district/company she drive for by blurring out the name of the district/company on the side of the bus.
