If we want to set our kids up for success this fall, we must do everything in our power to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, and that means wearing a mask. Take it from one of our state’s extraordinary educators👇 #MaskUpMichiganhttps://t.co/niVVZS5GaM
Folks, if you haven’t figured it out by now that Democrats have to keep the Wuhan flu farce going until November for their Vote-by-Mail fraud scheme, well, perhaps you shouldn’t be voting to begin with.
Speaking for myself, I am beyond tired of Gov. Whitmer’s victim act, yannow, always trying to scold good people about us having to “turn down the heat” (another lie exposed) every time she is caught up in the consequences from pushing her Democrat Party’s unAmerican and lawless agendas. Matter of fact, one of the glaring abominations Gov. Whitmer is caught up in is her contempt for our most vulnerable, which Mr. Sandler succinctly describes.
Many other states including California, New York and New Jersey reversed this dangerous nursing home policy. But @govwhitmer has stubbornly refused to causing more deaths in nursing homes. https://t.co/MR9LCo9HX2
“That women from Michigan” is nasty, totally incompetent and, completely detached from reality with being deeply mired in her unAmerican Democrat Party agenda but, the lawyer in her knows when she is defeated.
Across Michigan, restaurants can reopen to dine-in service June 8. So can day camps for children, swimming pools. Outdoor crowds of up to 100 allowed immediately. Office work OK if work can't be done remotely. In-home services like housecleaning OK https://t.co/vJquRRDrHq
It’s been mostly disheartening to watch Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s DNC coordinated economic destruction play out by her every ass-covering Executive Order issued with how the Michigan public and legislature has rolled over and, obeyed as if we were born as indoctrinated slaves. Is it that we all do not see what communism looks like? There are those of us on this planet that are, in the face of all odds against them with a crushing jackboot coming down that makes one disappear from existence, they have the spirit and will to stand up against tyranny.
In January of 1983, Governor James Blanchard had a problem. Michigan was in recession, losing jobs, and the legislature was facing declining tax revenues. Blanchard needed to hike taxes in order to maintain government spending, since real spending cuts seemed out of the question. He proposed, and passed through the legislature, a 38% income tax hike.
Taxpayers revolted. Recall drives were launched against Governor Blanchard and 14 state senators who supported the tax hike. Citizens launching these recalls were not taken seriously at first because no governor or state lawmaker had ever been recalled in the history of Michigan. Why?
Today, with same pending doom soon to come crashing down upon our state budget, I see nothing but lazy rallying around a brave septuagenarian barber. God bless Karl Manke, however, where has the 1983 kind of spirit with all in Michigan gone?
“We are going through an unprecedented crisis, unlike anything we’ve seen in our lifetime,” Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said in a statement. “This virus My administration has devastated families across the state and put hardworking Michiganders out of a job for months. I will continue working around the clock to ensure everyone who qualifies for unemployment benefits receives them during this time continues to receive a busy signal or the phone simply disconnects.”
From Big Gretch’s latest tour on the Fakestream News media circuit.
Whitmer said, “None. I’m not going to succumb to political pressure or political demonstrations or social media pressure. The fact of the matter is we have to listen to our epidemiologists, experts in our phenomenal research universities in Michigan. We are talking with international experts as well. We’re going to stay tethered to the data, follow the science, and we’ve got to get this right. Anything else puts people in jeopardy, and I’m not willing to do that.”
Watch to the end and, you decide.
Did you see the most foundation-destroying issue that begs further discussion?
“This is a big step and it’s right before the holiday weekend,”Whitmer said.
The bars, restaurants and offices reopening in Northern Michigan still must abide by limits on seating to promote social distancing. Local municipalities are allowed to enact tougher restrictions than Whitmer’s looser orders.
Now, why didn’t those business owners think of that before? I mean, the average restaurant operates on an 8% profit margin at full capacity so, why not cut seating in half as a pathway to prosperity! Most I know are not even going to waste their time opening for the holiday weekend due to expense of re-inventory costs, which meats have skyrocketed in price and finding staff that is now payed equal if not better to sit at home on their ass. Most have learned from the partial operation take-out fiasco that to simply close the doors they hemorrhage less money.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine [Republican] on Friday restarted parts of his state’s economy, with selected businesses opening for the first time since he issued a stay-at-home order on March 22 in response to the coronavirus emergency.
Michiganians like Hamade of Temperance flocked across the border for goods and services still not available in their own state. Dozens of vehicles bearing Michigan license plates were parked outside Toledo businesses that reopened Friday.
“Staying at home was getting depressing,” said Hamade, a 38-year-old construction worker who is laid off because of the coronavirus. “You gain weight. You can’t see your relatives. This is really nice.”
The next phase of Ohio’s plan kicks in May 21, when indoor restaurants, gyms and other businesses are scheduled to reopen.
Just look at all them Michigan tax dollars now flowing into Ohio. I’m not upset, they earned it.
So, when do the Recall Whitmer petitions begin circulating?
