Folks, It’s Happening

Remember this?

Well…

Michigan is being liberated, one lawsuit at a time.

Detroit U.S. District Judge Terrence Berg ruled Monday that candidates who were collecting signatures to qualify for the ballot can submit 50% of the required number of signatures by 5 p.m. May 8, instead of the Tuesday deadline the state had insisted on.

Berg, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, also ordered Director of Elections Jonathan Brater to develop rules within 72 hours to collect and submit ballot petition signatures electronically.
….

Esshaki celebrated his “defeat” of Whitmer and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s “efforts to stifle democracy” in a statement Monday.

“Today was a victory for protecting our constitutional rights,” Esshaki wrote. “It was a direct rebuke against Gov. Whitmer’s partisan actions seeking unlimited power.”

You damn right, Eric! Our beer-swilling wannabe gov. Whitler got slapped down and the sweetest part is- by an Obama judge.

Former Secretary of State Ruth Johnson, now a Republican state senator from Holly, said Friday that candidates for 20 judgeships could have been excluded from the ballot if the state held fast to the Tuesday deadline.

“The governor is doing this for a very self-serving reason because she knows if none of these judicial candidates are able to file she gets to appoint them all,” Johnson said in an email. “That’s not right!”

Precisely, what our trifecta of Michigan’s Matriarchy of Misery – Whitmer, Benson, and Nessel – plotted all along.

I just love it when everything Gov. Gretchen “Half” Whitmer does blows up in her greasy-forehead face.

ROFLMAO

GO TRUMP!

"The governor is doing this for a very self-serving reason because she knows if none of these judicial candidates are able to file she gets to appoint them all," Johnson said in an email. "That's not right!"

Whitmer's office called the allegation absurd. "

    Go get her Ruth!

Johnson is right, and I hate to say it, I had not considered that aspect. Wow.

      Ha!

"The only person playing politics with this issue is Sen. Johnson. The governor is focused on saving lives," Whitmer spokeswoman Tiffany Brown said.

      Let's play a game.

Yep, May contracts expire Tuesday, reason for today's drop. June and July contracts are trading higher on the prospects of our nation getting back to business, and normal life before Democrat governors and their Fakestream propaganda arm news media colluded to crash our economy.

Relax, Negative Nancy- President Trump has this.

R(INO)uth Johnson supports this judicial activism? Lazy candidates who waited til the last minute to get their signatures in shouldn't be given a free pass. The worry about appointing judges is a red herring. If no one filed by the deadline, there would be write in candidates. Ruth must be trying to help a friend who didn't get their signatures in on time.

Under normal circumstances, I might agree.

In this case however, it has nothing to do with laziness. It was an unforeseen limitation applied by a government official that has questionable legitimacy, and it simply levels the playing field made unlevel by the covenor's acts.

Sorry if it allows more folks to get into whatever race you are involved in, but a correction was needed in this way. It takes nothing away from anyone.
