Idiots In Grand Rapids – Patriots in Houghton Lake?

'Leadership' discourages grass roots participation when they need it most - if only to give the scheme credibility.

The shortsightedness of the so-called MI Republican Leadership of not allowing duly elected delegates access to their roles as they assume their coup derived ‘authority’

Foolishness is the hallmark of losers

February 29, 2024

Dear 1st District Delegates to Convention,

In the wake of the court orders in Kent County against Kristina Karamo, we are left with few options in our fight to save the grassroots movement in the Michigan Republican Party.
Here’s what you need to know right now :
1) The Secretary Angela Gillesse and Treasurer Jennifer Standefer still hold their titles in elected offices.
2) The Secretary has sent all of the credentials she received from your County Chairs to Mr. Foster of Mr. Hoekstra’s team, and 25 counties were DENIED credentials to the Grand Rapids Convention.
3) The repeated disregard for the established rules has caused irreparable harm to the delegates right to engage in the convention process.
I have been involved in the party for many years – many state conventions, served as a State Representative in Lansing, and as you know, a target of the Democrat Attorney General – and I have never seen anything like what has been playing out right now in our party.
Over the last year, you have been a victim of deceiving propaganda and fake news against our grassroots leader, who has been a fearless warrior for freedom.

Recent court orders prohibit Kristina from acting as Chair of the Michigan Republican Party (MRP) in any manner, and nullified all of the meetings she’s called since January 6, 2024. This puts us in a position where we have to pivot to next steps and take the fight in a new direction.

The newly declared administration of MRP appears to be inviting dissent, disregarding rules with the consent of their RNC allies and we will not play that game by falling into their plan.

Denying the majority of the Delegates elected at the County Conventions in the 1st District from attending the State District Convention is not acceptable. So, where does this leave us?

We have been eagerly awaiting decisions from the court, but we can no longer wait. Your county Call to Convention stated we shall convene on March 2nd, and that is what we will do. Your 1st District leadership has formulated a plan to hold this District Convention in Houghton Lake! We are working hard to make it a meaningful Convention with enjoyable events starting tomorrow night, March 1st! Stay tuned!

I understand this is a lot of information to digest, and it might be irregular. That said, this is the battle we signed up for at county convention, and we need you all to stick together and show up!
You have my pledge that your team will NOT stop fighting for you and for your rights as Republican delegates.

Thank you all for fighting for what is right.

Sincerely,

Daire Rendon
1st Congressional District Republican Committee – Chairwoman

Once again, you are just wrong. Put down the Kool Aide. EVERY COUNTY was sent the convention package. The Kool Aide drinking county chairs refused to respond to the real MIGOP. There are rules. Now they want to say that the rules don’t apply. Smart chairs, like Kalkaska snd others sent their Delegate/Alternate lists to both conventions. Kool Side drinkers did not. Their choice. Their loss. Maybe som day they might rejoin the real world !!!

In the last 3 days, dealing with the Grand Rapids faction has been just short of a nightmare. It's been made clear that I'm really not welcomed. I have confirmed that I'll be credentialed, but at what expense? What delegates will be there with me? The RINO's? So much for uniting the party and disenfranchising grass roots.

The Republican kakistocracy rears its inbred, misshapen head yet again.

Now...where have I seen this playbook used before previously???

Oh, fuck Trump. That boomer flim-flam artist is a "two wings of the same bird." He's even got the daughter-in-law in on the act of running the GOP now. I guess Jared or Ivanka weren't available after the billions they've raked in from the loser's one term. Bottom line, boomer king couldn't cover lardass Ronna anymore, his two endorsements for party chair, and one abstention from endorsing, which allowed Ronna's fat ass back in. Biden with partial walls, that boomer king never completed.

The First Congressional District, where 16 of the 35 counties were denied credentialling, had less than 60 members total at the Grand Rapids site. The majority of delegates went to Houghton Lake where the entire of the first congressional district would be credentialed. The court order allegedly made things retroactive. That being said, a county chair registering the county delegation before midnight February 15, 2024, should have satisfied whomever would be determined chair. Not so. Hoekstra demanded that everyone double down and resubmit the list to Grand Rapids (BUT MIGOP in Lansing) This also meant that anyone wanting to run for RNC delegate resubmit application. Turns out, we we're not submitting to MIGOP but rather Hoekstra's personal secretary who is Not an employee of MIGOP. Also, it is against the law to deny seating delegates. There is no way this is right. Lastly, the MIGOP is located in Lansing, Ingham county. So how does jurisdiction lie in Kent County? A court must have both jurisdiction AND authority. If it doesn't have jurisdiction. . .

Less than 60? What is the full compliment? Were there any 1st district motions passed?

2/3 of the First CD was in Houghton Lake. I do not believe that they had a quorum in Grand Rapids. They Taped Jesse to be their fearless leader/ And really, it came down to the county chairs resubmitting the names to Hoekstra. THe county chairs were not party to his suit. They did their job by submitting the delegate list to the MIGOP. I guess Hoekstra didn't understand that the order being retroactive only meant between he and Karmanos. The names were submitted to the MIGOP secretary who is still the secretary. Pete taking total control of a process which has worked for years and years; (resubmitting names to his private secretary) seems a tad narcissistic. (Scripps News Service did a nice story last night).

Hoekstra has done more damage to Trump, and Trump agreeing with all this crap, I fear will harm his November election. After all, Trump's 2016 success in MI, was due to the very Organized First Congressional District. No one wants to be a part of such Hoekstra management as what was displayed last week. It seems to be fake news outta Trump's mouth telling us how wonderful pete is.

      4 points:
      1. There is no quorum required for a convention
      2. The one thing both factions have in common is support of Trump. In GR, the vote was close to unanimous for Trump.
      3. The judge’s ruling binds Karamo and her associates. Her appeal and request for relief was rejected by the Appellate Court In a matter of minutes (less than 30)
      4. Karamo’s tenure was a total failure. She was properly removed before she and her Dem partner, Mr Labadie could complete the destruction of MIGOP. Most of the dissidents are actually good and reasonable people. As the party moves forward and the truth becomes more obvious, I believe most will rejoin a newly invigorated party with funding to support candidates and issues. As for the hard core kool aide drinkers, …we’re probably better off without them.

    Tsk,Tsk Tom--
    1. A quorum is required for a caucus.
    2. Don't be too sure on undying Trump support. His injection into this state rumpus has disgusted many. His shoving Hoekstra down our throats and ordering us how to think.. .Don't be too sure on undying Trump support.
    3. Karamo associates??? You mean the remaining officers? Hoekstra supplanted his private staff with those duly elected officers who were not involved in the court mess. The MIGOP offices are in Lansing, on Seymour Street, where all county executives sent their delegate lists on a timely basis to the secretary.
    4. Will never know if Karamo failed. She's been blind-sided and gas-lighted since day one.

Most of the Karamo County leaders did NOT send lists to Lansing. Others did so not timely. Also READ THE “CALL TO CONVENTION”. It was a convention. That’s why a CALL YO CONVENTION WAS ISSUED! A convention does NOT REQUIRE a quorum. Every time you respond by twisting words and making statements (As Reagan would say) that “just aren’t true, I lose a little more respect for you. Not much left.

TSK TSK TSK. The RNC Delegates were elected in the caucuses. Your name was on the ballot. A quorum is required for a caucus. Not my rules. BTW, you lost in Houghton Lake too. As far as respect.. .I'm gonna chalk up your BS to ignorance and arrogance, because we all know you can't fix stupid. Prove me wrong.

p.s. The county leaders did, in fact, send their list to Lansing by midnight of the ides of January. What many didn't do is send the list redundantly to Grand Rapids, to Pete's personal secretary.

I just love it when intellectual cowards hiding behind phony pseudonyms make inane comments. Like most democrats he/she, whatever it is most likely just wrongfully accuses others of doing that which he/she/it is actually doing. Thanks, Jason for publishing that interview from 2010. It does show who I am, and what I believe.

Dear Mr. Donald Trump: What the hell are you thinking? Who is feeding you all this garbage. First the Hoekstra Hoax now Mike Rogers? With CIA Lisa Slotkin for the dems, it is soooo unwise to field former FBI Rogers. In the last four to eight years, these alphabet agencies have caused extreme harm to America including election interference. There is no way in hell we're going to vote for any rep, current or former of these agencies.

    We feel betrayed.
