So, it’s a new year.

People make resolutions (which they‘ll most likely break before February 1st).

Another session of Congress prepares to ramp up in the midst of a government “shutdown”.

The democrats give President Trump more posturing and obstructionism because…well, illegal aliens (and Americans on the public dole) matter significantly more to them than the safety of the people who actually put them in office in the first place.

And then the Indrid Cold-grinning idiot from the Michigan’s 13th Congressional District lets the worst kept secret out of the bag pertaining to the democrats end game for the 116th Session of Congress.

Not to worry girlfriend, the economic wunderkind from the Bronx has got your back.

Oh, snap!

Is that the media asking more questions that she’s unable to answer?

Sorry, but you’re on your own girlfriend!

Making matters even worse (only if you are unaware of his family’s penchant for screwing things up), a “republican” completely and unnecessarily enters the fray.

Lansing “Protest” scheduled for tomorrow.

Just a friendly heads up from several snitches of mine.

The Michigan People’s Campaign is planning to “lobby”(/protest?) in Lansing on Tuesday at the Capitol Building beginning at 9:00am against the changes made to the Michigan paid sick leave law that Legislature essentially “short-circuited” by passing prior to the election earlier this year.

No word on why the Michigan Legislature couldn’t do the same with Proposal 2, I can only surmise that they just like losing, but I digress.

If anyone has any business up in Lansing tomorrow, again, just a friendly reminder to watch yourselves around this crowd.

Progressives tend to get a little bit hostile when they don’t get their way.

‘Nuff said.

Are they even aware of what they’re selling?

So in the midst of all of the post-election analysis, we’ve heard the “experts” from other outlets drone on about why the 2018 Election went the way it did.

We’ve heard them tell us that this is the vaunted “Blue Wave” sweeping across America. Despite the rash of ballots “miraculously” showing up in places like Florida (and apparently now here) along with Arizona, democrats still only control the House.

We’ve been told that this is the year of the woman. Yet, I’m waiting to hear why superior candidates like Lang and Epstein didn’t benefit from this?

Finally, the media (or infotainment complex…take your pick), dredges up their favorite rationale for last Tuesday Night’s results: It’s all President Trump’s fault.

If you get past their self-created echo chamber, you might have noticed the marked lack of coverage of the rise in America’s economy that has taken place since the ‘16 election (far higher than any democrat or their sycophants claimed was possible) , unemployment numbers falling ACROSS THE BOARD, and a newfound respect for America around the world since a certain Chicago street hustler was no longer in a position to embarrass our Republic by bowing down to foreign leaders at every opportunity and generally showing no backbone with the same by conceding at every opportunity.

I’m going to bring up a topic that the so-called conservative policy wonks running the multitude of losing campaigns are loath to ask themselves.

The bottom line is that proposal 2 is merely a change to a different form of gerrymandering. One that does its best to exclude one side, and make the process irreversible by eliminating answerability to the voters.

If you value accountability in Michigan politics, you MUST make sure all of your friends and family members understand what is at stake.

Personally, I think Ford is lying.

I don’t want to pretend sympathy, and give her some BS benefit of the doubt. Her statements are contrived, and she is manipulating the supposed adults in the room with her mousey voice and child like vulnerability. She is clearly an activist playing a dangerous game of political destruction by falsehood and theatrical presentation.

What angers me most about this, is what it does to all of the sons and brothers of women everywhere, as well as truthful women themselves who when all of this shakes out, will have to wonder if they might possibly be believed, and if it is worth it.

The American Way.

Few multilevel marketing platforms have ever produced like the one by Rich DeVos and Jay VanAndel.

Free market philosophy and a determination by the pair proved that success was not conditional upon what social status one begins with.  By offering others the opportunity with little personal financial investment to pursue the American Dream, they tapped into what fundamentally makes this country great; individual exceptionalism and entrepreneurial reward.

Their company Amway, became the foundation for the DeVos family’s personal wealth, but it reached out much further in philanthropic efforts and community effect.  It was quite literally, the marketing of a commonly used household product that has built hospitals, schools, funded missions, and grew a worldwide empire that generally supports so much of what this country is about.

Rich DeVos leaves a legacy the family could be proud of. As noted in the Freep:

“The Lord was good to me and I gotta go out and try and tell how good God is,” said DeVos. “I’d like to be remembered by enjoying the time we were given here by loving what the good Lord gave us, and we did the best we could with it.
