Boy, are these people stupid!

Chumps!

Morons!

Idiots!

Dupes!

Simpletons!

Fools!

Betcha think these comments regarding Michigan Taxpayers was “secretly” overheard coming from the confab between Gov. Snyder, Ex-Speaker Bolder, Ex-Sen. Richardville, Rep. Greimel & Ex-Sen Whitmer last December just before they announced placing Prop 15-1 before Michigan Voters?

Close, but not quite.

Happy Deer in Michigan

Michigan Hunters Not So Happy

Happy Deer

DNR just slyly reported that Michigan hunting license sales dropped to 729,000 in 2014, a 4.2% drop from 2013 sales and the all time low in data extending way back to 1958. This drop is even worse than the numbers suggest, since the new HB 4668 hunting license rules require base licenses for hunting activities which did not require licenses in previous years. And if you believe President Obama and his statistical mathmagicians, the U.S. economy surged at a 5% GDP growth rate in 2014Q3 just before Michigan’s traditional firearms deer season. Michigan’s population increased by 11,684 people in 2014, the third consecutive annual increase. So the number of hunters should have increased in 2014? But the number of hunters in Michigan dropped, and hunter numbers declined because license fees skyrocketed under HB 4668 of 2013.

The most popular hunting license prices increased 50 – 100 % under the new 2014 fee schedule, although a direct comparison is not possible because the licenses were restructured under HB 4668 to ‘simplify’ the license schedule. Even though the DNR has not released license sales dollar amounts yet, we can still sketch out the doleful effect of the DNR hunting license fee increases on Michigan’s staggering economy.

DNR Fee Increase Backfires

Politicians of all stripes are rooting around for fresh money to fulfill past, present, and future promises lately, figuring that the economy is so hot that their depredations will go unnoticed and have no consequences. Let’s take a look at a Michigan example: the increase in license fees for hunting and fishing which the Legislature authorized in 2013 and which took effect in 2014.

The most popular hunting and fishing license prices doubled under the new fee schedule, although a direct comparison is not possible because the licenses were restructured to ‘simplify’ the license schedule. Governor Snyder’s goal for these increases was to raise an additional $ 18.1 million dollars annually for the DNR. The Senate Fiscal Agency benchmarked the anticipated annual increase at $ 19.7 million.

These are fees, paid voluntarily, so why should we care? Only taxes matter? The State of Michigan has been reducing the amount of money appropriated to the DNR from tax revenues since 2000, a reduction that now amounts to about 70%. So fees are now required to replace taxes. A common story across the United States. Fees play better with voters than taxes.

Another Day Another Progressive Endorsement

From the “Great Republicans” who “juntaLennox faps to, once again, old twaddling Bill saith:

Gilligan's Island

Former Gov. William Milliken is endorsing Democrat Mark Totten for attorney general over fellow Republican and incumbent Bill Schuette.
Milliken’s backing of Totten — a Michigan State University law professor from Kalamazoo — marks his second endorsement of a Democrat this election cycle.

REST

Kalamazoo? Nevertheless, had not Schuette put the Baker family through a living Hell, I probably would lift a finger for his campaign.

But, Schuette did put the Baker’s through Hell with his running cover for the pork lobby, and the Nerd CPA’s affirmative action ‘placemaking’ czar in Detoilet, so – f**k Bill.

Under vote. When it comes to statewide candidates, I’ll be voting only for, Ruth Johnson.

It is way past time for Conservatives to place a cost on the dregs of the Republican Party.

During his tenure as sheriff, federal officers informed the sheriffs of the state that they would be required to enforce the so-called “Brady Bill” and run background checks at their expense under the law. Mack and six other sheriffs from across the country challenged the constitutionality of the Brady Bill and fought it all the way to the United States Supreme Court, where they won a monumental decision for freedom in a landmark 5-4 split decision based on the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Sheriff Mack will talk about the Constitution and a Constitutional Sheriff’s role.

Come join us for a fun and educational afternoon on the farm! Freewill donations accepted to help us bring these incredible speakers to northern Michigan.

They say Complete Streets is a goal?

OK, I’m first to admit that I have totally overlooked the therapeutic benefits of our fuel tax dollars going towards creating bike lanes on congested potholed roadways, and other resourse expenditures such as, Rick Snyder’s “Showcase” $1,000,000.00 per mile bicycle path.

How silly of me to discourage Progressive folks such as Rick Snyder in his pursuit of Jennifer Granholm’s utopian but costly agenda. To borrow one commenter’s expression with regard to BAMN in other topic, “suck it” John Lindenmayer.

Take 5

Action Alert - Call These Reps.

And make a call. TODAY.

Rep. Kevin Daley, chairman of the Ag. committee, presented a letter on the House floor yesterday and asked for his fellow representatives to sign. He got 10 representatives to sign the letter. Ten?? This letter basically is telling the governor to throw out both the Declaratory Ruling and the Invasive Species Order.

This all comes on the heels of the ruling by the judge in Marquette County stating that the Declaratory Ruling is definitely unconstitutional. Read the article here.  The ruling however technically affects those within the jurisdiction of the judge making the ruling.  The letter will clarify more fully, and allow the process to move forward with prejudice.

The current signers of Rep. Daley’s letter are as follows:
Daley, Denby, McMaster, Shirkey, McBroom, Crawford,  Goike, Lauwers, Schmidt, Glarden, Graves

By tomorrow morning call and tell the names below, that “we the people” want them to sign this letter. We are asking that you contact your own representative, and the four listed below.

When Rulers Play, and the Rights They Slay

Are Michigan courts so easily compromised?

harry-martinI want to put a finer point on recent activities seen in the judicial system of the banana republic of Michigan.

While observing the actions of Asst AG Harry Martin just prior to him throwing in the State’s towel on the Mark Baker case, the untrained eye easily recognized the disdain being heaped upon a private citizen in a courtroom.

But there was considerably more on display, and I’d like to point it out to you.

All attorneys are required to live and work in accordance with a Code of Ethics. The Code is written, very specific, and well-known to all who have passed the bar exam, and to many who did not. At no time is an attorney allowed to address another attorney’s client without the express permission of the clients attorney, and it must also be in the presence of the client’s attorney so the client is protected.

Pay Attention Lansing

Is It Possible For The State To Make This Right?

pighuntMark Baker and his family were terribly wronged.

Period.

It was his courage to stand up against the formerly unimaginable wanton persecution by state agencies like the (feral) DNR and the AG’s office. IT was the support of people who were aware of what was going on that allowed him to survive, and cause the Attorney General’s office to fold under the weight of a huge, easily recognizable, mistake.  It was his willingness to suffer the loss of business as the state threatened his customers, and cut off his sole income.

And all throughout this process other farms were shut down and forced to slaughter their livelihoods because they had no means to fight ‘city hall.’
