Several months ago, we were warned.
The video on the right appeared amidst the nonsense of a US senate race elsewhere. It is probably the only time in your life you will see the word “penis” in a seriously considered political video. (The ad is actually STILL posted on her official site – I have saved a copy as well)
The “P” word in this ad, is of course used to make sure that the viewers are advised that those who wear the aforementioned appliance are to be viewed with suspicion and disdain. That we cannot wait to show it off in just about every environment. In short, that “Men are evil pigs.”
Aside from the absurdly overblown reaction to the false accusations of events supposedly 4 decades past, this candidate displayed a bizarre sense of propriety and judgement. It was not enough for her to simply ‘hate men’ and let us know that the memberful sex was to be feared, but she actually believes that leaving such inculcation present and viewable during a statewide political contest is wise.
In short, there is something wrong with her. She appears to be a little more than simply a feminist ‘extreme,’ as reports come in from even her former staff, that Dana Nessel, candidate for attorney general is one who foments a “toxic environment.” From the Detroit News:
One of her most recent hires for spokesman, Brian Stone, was let go after 48 hours on the job. Stone told MIRS he had a “rude awakening” when he began working for Nessel, whose campaign he described as “chaos,” “abusive” and a “horrible situation.”
“Everyone was working in fear of contact with the candidate,” he told MIRS.
“People had developed strategies for interactions with her,” Stone told the AP, adding that when he joined he was quickly warned about a “toxic environment.”
Nessel’s former senior adviser Abby Dart told the news service that she’d “never seen anything like it before.” A longtime Democratic political consultant, Dart said her “nerves were fried” after her August 2017 to June 2018 stint with the campaign and said there were instances where she felt she wasn’t treated with respect.
Et tu, Abby?
Typically, even the Democrats fear this kind of long term dysfunctional exposure of their neu agenda. While building an all female state slate along with a token XY as lt. governor, the party of pussy hats and prolonged #resistance is likely nervous about Nessel’s man-hate and unapologetic messaging.
Is it too extreme, we might ask?
What might seem extreme now, could certainly turn out to be frightening. When one is placed into a position that gives them the ability to abuse those who are seen as the enemy, what could we expect will happen?
In a bit of an intellectual exercise, try to imagine a cat hater running an animal shelter. Fluffy’s days would most certainly be numbered, yes?
Though not a clinically trained psychoanalyst, even I can see the writing on the wall for this type of gender paranoia. It almost appears that she is conflicted with the fact that she is not the alpha. Her messaging in the video above is one that seemingly says “give me power, I am not a man, but could fill that role.”
Her personality conflicts within her campaign are a fair warning about how she might deal with an agency that is staffed with both men and women which numbers in the hundreds. An abusive record in a small campaign office might well become a full blown disaster for a state workforce that keeps our i’s dotted, and t’s crossed.
A personal disdain for those of the opposite sex is one thing. It is entirely another when it conflicts with the proper functioning of government.
And it is altogether dangerous when one considers the the effect of it, given the power of the office she seeks.
And then there is something that is disturbing about the artwork on her logo..
