Michigan 56th District Race Mystery Mailers

Anonymous mailers flood mailboxes in Michigan's 56th state house district.

Bain-card3Randy Bain was pleasantly surprised that someone supports him in his bid for the Michigan House of representatives..

When mailers arrived at his home not just once, but TWICE, he wondered who might it be that would be sending out the cards describing Democrats and Republicans as having no discernible differences.  Who was it saying “Al Bain isn’t a party robot!” in two separate mailings?

Bain-card1Did we mention R. Al Bain is a candidate for the 56th District house seat as a (Constitution party) US Taxpayer?

Bain says that he knows of other Republicans who have received the postcards, yet his neighbors who are Democrats, have not. This could feed the speculation that Democrats are subtly assisting 3rd party candidates who have a strong possibility of drawing votes from Republicans to give THEIR candidates a better shot. This is not out of the question, as we have seen THAT before.

Interestingly, there is no disclaimer, a part 47 campaign finance violation.  The return address could be any number of businesses in the tower address. There are a number of election contributions from that address over the years, but nothing that would indicate a pattern of contributions or big money.   Bain says:Bain-card2

I googled the address it’s a 12 story office tower in Southfield I called a number and the girl said her company had the whole 12th floor they are a automotive marketing and research firm. There are several businesses in that tower.

Candidate Bain is already planning his victory speech.

Isn't it obvious that this was sent by a pro-democrat group? Note how they show pictures of Republican Jason Sheppard, but not his democrat opponent. They are hoping to split conservative votes. Conservatives should support Sheppard.

What is hilarious, is that the must acknowledge their failures, and the failures of their 'dear leaders' when associating those images.

      Its a hoot.

As for "Conservatives should support Sheppard?" If he is associated with the est clowns running things? Gee whiz..

        Hardly a phony.

He has a different opinion on this. I value his input here and elsewhere.

Not a phony, however, hopelessly the lesser of two evils type.

How has THAT been working out for y'all?

Jason Sheppard is endorsed and financially supported by Richardville and the "liberal" leadership of the MIGOP so what would anyone expect out of a Richardville crony? In this election if you liked liberal Richardville’s policies where he never seen a “tax hike” he didn't like, your sure to love Jason Sheppard.

Candidate Jason Sheppard Lied on Voter Guide Questioner. How in the world can anyone cast a vote for a guy who can't manage his own personal affairs let alone the states taxpayers? To top it off he tried to cast the blame for his lie with a phony excuse!

The two leaders of the MIGOP threw a big money fundraiser for Jason Sheppard because the Party wants their "yes man" as to advance their "liberal" agenda. Both Bolger and Richardville, leaders of the House and Senate in Lansing both have had recent scandals of their own!

With this fundraiser and the thousands of dollars the MIGOP leadership has garnered for Mr. Sheppard who do you think he will be beholding to you the voter or the Party Bosses? I think the answer is crystal clear!

This comment is kinda hard to follow, but I'll try.
Are you really arguing that conservatives shouldn't vote for any candidate who is supported by Richardville or the Republican party leadership? That would rule out basically every Republican running. Get ready for a lot of democrats to win if you adopt that policy.
What did Sheppard supposedly lie about? What personal affairs? You are making incoherent allegations with no details or supporting evidence.

Please, folks can go all the way back to Democrat Howard Wolpe seeking out Helen Milliken to be his Lt. gov. running mate to see that the MI-GOP has been a pile of sh!t, so who are you trying to kid?

Huh? The Milikens haven't been relevant in 30 years. The only reason they still call themselves Republicans is to generate "Republican endorses democrat' headlines.
