Going where other Republicans fear to tread.

“My son, we're pilgrims in an unholy land.” - Professor Henry Jones (Sean Connery) “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.”

Admit it.

You’ve got to hand it to Sen. Pat Colbeck credit on this one.

It’s one thing to take on the party kakistocracy and challenge not only their hand picked heir apparent to the Michigan Governor’s Office, but the wanna-be as well.

This is taking up a notch.

Honestly, more like two or three given the venue and locale.

Curious as to what this just might be?

The “Not Ready for Prime Time” Players have already announced that they will be attending.

As of this morning, Dr. Jim Hines, AG Bill Schuete and LG Brian Calley have not announced if they would attend.

Not Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette

Not Lil’ Guv Brian Calley

I found this interesting for three reasons. First, I cannot recall a previous gubernatorial campaign in which there were this many candidates from this many political parties attending, this early in the campaign.

Second, I cannot recall a time in which a Republican appeared before a group with an obvious political bent such as that above.

Finally, it’s also interesting because we get to see someone bringing a Conservative, Free-Market solution based message into Detroit, unlike the embarrassing Republican Party-paid Detroit point man who bashes a sitting Republican President.

I’ll pass along more details as they become available.

Have fun promoting the nonstarter: http://rightmi.com/ron-boji-et-al-pocket-134000000-for-their-better-view/

Pat lined crooked Boji's pockets with millions- not surprised to see him hooking up with arabs.

Invitations were sent to all of the candidates.

Did your candidate respond to attend this event?

And if you cannot find the wherewithal to stand up to the democrats this early in the campaign, exactly how do you expect to stand against them beginning August 8th?

I'll take that answer as a "no", your candidate will not be attending. That's all I needed to know.

Tomorrow at 6:30, here in Traverse City will be a Townhall with Colbeck Calley and Dr. Hines. Be here or be square! And. . .if you're hungry for Pizza, a Constitution Celebration fund raiser will take place at 5:00 at Louie-Louie's, in the same building as the townhall. Looking forward to meeting ya all.

I'll be on the road then, but I'll wish those two the best of luck.

OABTW, can you let everyone know if AG Schuette chickens out again?

I've got a running bet (which has handsomely paid off so far) that he'll be yet another no-show.
