Choosing Your Leaders?

I stumbled across a quote from a meme on FB.

I followed up, as many quotes are often mis-attributed. It was from Octavia Butler’s book “Parable Of the Talents.”  While that particular work of fiction may be good, or bad, or whatever, ..the quote is brilliance.  Some truths simply have a life of their own.

“Choose your leaders with wisdom and forethought. To be led by a coward is to be controlled by all that the coward fears. To be led by a fool is to be led by the opportunists who control the fool. To be led by a thief is to offer up your most precious treasures to be stolen. To be led by a liar is to ask to be lied to. To be led by a tyrant is to sell yourself and those you love into slavery.”

Dang.

That pretty much covers everyone.

Michigan Rally – Trump’s Message

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

Trump was watching yesterday.

His in-box message this morning suggests the primaries might be interesting.  Yeah, ..we have some worthless ‘leadership’ that needs to go.

Big rally in Michigan yesterday, unbelievable spirit and knowledge of what went on with respect to voting and vote counting in the 2020 Presidential Election. Detroit, considered for many years to be one of the most corrupt places in the United States for elections (and many other things!), had large-scale irregularities so much so that two officials, at great risk to themselves and their families, refused to certify the results, and were sadly threatened. Wasn’t it a fact that aside from other things, there were far more votes than voters? Even the RINOs on the Senate Committee found 289,866 absentee ballots that were sent to people who never requested them, “something that would be illegal.” Why did they viciously kick out the Republican poll watchers? Seventy percent of Detroit’s mail-in ballot counting boards didn’t match, it was a total mess. Why won’t they give respected professionals and representatives at yesterday’s rally the right to do a Forensic Audit of Wayne County (Detroit) and Macomb County? That includes the RINOs in the State Senate and House who for, whatever reason, do nothing but obstruct instead of seeking the truth. Hopefully, each one of these cowardly RINOs, whose names will be identified and forthcoming, will be primaried, with my Complete and Total Endorsement, in the upcoming election. Congratulations on the great rally yesterday!

As for number of votes being more than voters exist?  Probably not.

However, the newly minted Michigan constitution (circa crazy-ass 2018 referendums) does say any one of us can demand an audit.  It’s not like the government can ignore the constitutions ..right?

All that aside, Benson should have been impeached by our legislature for breaking the law BEFORE the election.  And now she is shepherding the most damaging (to local communities) electoral gerrymander the state has ever seen.

Cowardice begets tyranny.

Sunday Sermon – A Defense Of Marriage

Genesis 2:18-25

Traditional marriage is under attack like never before.

People not only in America but all over the world are debating and arguing over what a marriage is and what a marriage isn’t. As Christians it doesn’t really matter what our opinions of marriage are or whether or not we think that it should be re-defined. What should matter to believers like us is what the Bible and God says about marriage.

The Bible clearly defines marriage and anyone who cares to read it for themselves will find there really are no gray areas even though some people will attempt to say that there are. Marriage is biblically defined as a holy union ordained by God to be between one man and one woman. No human being, no act of congress, nor any society created marriage. Marriage goes all the way back to Genesis. In Genesis 1:27-28 we read this: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And in our first reading this morning we read this: So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

First Amendment Or Firing?

Is a recent editorial by a county employee appropriate, ..or defamation?

I tend to be of the opinion that no employment robs one of his or her ability to speak and offer opinion.

Free speech is a win-win, right?  So what happens when a person who represents policy for an employer openly disagrees with that employer’s position on any specific subject? What if the employer is not only disagreed with, but is defamed in the process?

We may find out. From our favorite fish wrap in the North:

“The medical director for the Grand Traverse County Health Department contends county commissioners “crossed the line from illogical to irresponsible” when they passed a resolution that curbs messaging public health officials distribute in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. “

There is disagreement, which would be better served with an “I understand their concern, but this is wrong..” and then there is ..name calling, ..yes?

In this case, it is about the resolution passed in order to reign in some of the messaging, and the inability of the health department to step outside its authority in the name of ‘science.’  Commissioners last week put the check on their subordinates, and it didn’t sit well with the ‘heroes’ of the plandemic.  This particular doctor’s feathers were ruffled, and in true Doctor speak (“I am better than anyone cause of my letters”) he made sure we all know it.

Perhaps 78 year old Collins may not care whether he is employed by the county, so open insubordination bordering on defamation is easy. Or perhaps Mr Collins ..MD, hasn’t in his nearly octogenarian status has yet to learn the role of the politicians we elect? ..That is ..to protect our rights.

Continuing Education Unit requirements?

My friend Abby is right about outright partisanship being counter productive when fighting big (and oppressive) gov.

I understand that the Republican party has many things to say about Democrat politicians, but all of it is useless blather if the Republicans are complicit in their action, or lack thereof.  Think state police ticketing for haircuts, and state attorney generals ordering license revocation because someone needs to work to live.

We’ve said it often enough here, that an R or D is no guarantee. Our state government mechanization has reached critical mass, and is much like an overly aggressive and hungry dog that knows no master any longer, and sees us as its meal.  The binding chain needs to be far stronger, or the beast needs to be put down.  The dog should not be in control of US.

0-2. Michigan democrats (along with RINO’s Upton & Meijer) must be so proud of their accomplishments.

Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes.

So, if you haven’t heard the good news (albeit it, very unsurprising), the US Senate voted to not impeach PRIVATE CITIZEN Donald J. Trump over the weekend 57-43. I shouldn’t need to tell anyone how Michigan’s US Senators embarrassed themselves voted.

No Chief Justice from the Supreme Court presiding. Patently obvious evidence tampering by democrats. Sheer naked hypocrisy from democrats when own actions were highlighted.

But why should something like that get in the way of good political kabuki theater?

The talking head shows went into a tizzy yesterday. You had “strategists” from the republican & democrat party trying to rationalize this blatantly unconstitutional act.

I’m not going to bore readers with hours of adults acting like petulant children because they didn’t get their way. But I do want to share one excellent clip of an adult, President Trump’s lawyer Michael Van Der Veen, taking CBSN journalist activist Lana Zak to the woodshed. If you want to see an excellent example of what happens when you stand up to propagandists, that clip can be viewed here.

Sadly, this isn’t the last of it. Not by a long shot.

More RINO’s are beginning to appear on the radar (i.e. McConnell)

The democrats are going to throw everything including the kitchen sink at him because…um, it beats having to show actual leadership.

And that has worked out well for them…when?

Let me wrap this up on the plus side with a nice summary by DJT Jr.

Trump beats impeachment. Dems in disarray. The Lincoln Project burnt to the ground. The RINOS in the GOP establishment exposed & collapsing. Cuomo & Dem Govs in free fall. The media depressed and lashing out at Dems for their impeachment fail. #MAGA ascending again!

Stay Free.

THIS is what democracy looks like?!?

Short follow-up to a previous piece regarding more “unusual deliveries” made within Cobo Hall the night during last year’s election fraud.

The Gateway Pundit released a new video showing a second vehicle making “special deliveries” of its own and escorting the van from the previous video dropping off “legal ballots” which were sitting in open US Mail trays and not secured in any way, shape or form. Don’t even bother asking how human chain of custody was ever documented.

Pardon me? Can you tell me how I can get back to Jefferson? I made a wrong turn and have been driving around in here for hours!

As expected, the local media wasted no time in circling the wagons attacking the first video.

They made the same dismissive arguments claiming that the witnesses to election fraud were either ignorant of how the process works, or trotted out their own experts to refute.

One such “expert” is Christopher Thomas who claims that nothing illegal or inappropriate occurred. Nope, no conflict of interest there whatsoever.

For the record, Christopher Thomas worked directly for Detroit City Clerk Janice “Speed Racer” Winfrey.

The same Janice Winfrey who overseen multiple citywide elections that were rife with voter problems (i.e. poll books out of balance, voter records not up to date, problems any legitimate clerk who cared about their job would have fixed years ago, etc.)

He also failed to mention anything about an unknown car driving around inside of Cobo Hall.

Oh, THAT mysterious black car with out-of-state license plates!

The second video can be seen in its entirety here.
