It’s a shame that we cannot apply this elsewhere?

wendy-day-campain-pic

At the behest of Michigan Republican Party State Committee Member Matt Hall, it has been announced on multiple news outlets today that Michigan Republican Party Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel has removed MRP Grassroots Vice Chair Wendy Day from her position due to comments made on Fox 2 Detroit last week regarding her unwillingness to support Donald Trump for President.

Citing party bylaws (and the teachings of Saul Alinsky), Mr. Hall claimed that her refusal to support ALL Republican party candidates on the ballot necessitated her removal from the position.

Mrs. Day issued a statement which can be read here.

It’s too bad that those bylaws are limited to only certain republicans?

I cannot help but think what would happen if they were applied to him, this guy or even these guys?

Just something to think about…

Wetworks

What really happened to Justice Antonin Scalia?

Ipodesta-scaliaf this site goes dark sometime soon, it’s been fun.

Why would I worry about such a thing when there are more notables asking some pointed questions?

Because isolation can be accomplished by eliminating the effective loose ends.  Getting the word out on this is necessary, but we have to remember who is still in power.

The Chicago crime syndicate.

Anyhow..  Click the photo to the right

Daddy Day Care

Brian Calley's New Job.

nowBrian Calley eliminated any chance he might have of becoming Governor a couple of days ago.

In the fearful snit drummed up by #NeverTrump GOP operatives, Clinton, and the complicit media, Calley led a few other usual suspects in asking for the GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump to step aside. Calley smelled the end for Trump, gambled and rolled snake eyes on the come out. He jumped out in front of the Trump Train and yelled stop!

“The latest revelations about Donald Trump and his past make it impossible for me to maintain support of him,” Calley said in a statement released exclusively to The Detroit News. “This is not a decision I take lightly because I still believe that a Hillary Clinton presidency represents a disastrous alternative.”

Calley called on Trump to step aside and “allow a replacement to provide the kind of option America could believe in.”

Apparently, trains don’t stop for has-been politicians.

Michigan Entrepreneurs Still Active

" .. America’s embrace of the free market has done more than simply reduce malnourishment, homelessness and disease. "

business-planImagine my thrill at watching a wonderful lady several years my senior seek to make her fortune at an advanced age.  I’m a chicken whose spring passed many years ago and this lady was scratching worms from the summer soil long before I ever witnessed my first equinox.

I discovered the spirit of America knows no age limit.

I truly appreciate inventiveness and the entrepreneurial spirit because, among other reasons, I verily appreciate America and the American spirit.  America embraced the free market and capitalism at its founding and was willing to suffer decades of transition from the cash-poor/barter heavy society at the founding to one that burgeoned a slowly developed wealth as its first century waned.

And wealth is a wonderful thing for it is wealth, principally created by those who had a better idea, process or product, that produced a society largely capable of eliminating hunger, homelessness and disease.  This is not to say that there are none who suffer hunger or homelessness or disease in this country, but only that those who are willing and able to interject themselves into the mainstream economy are largely capable of living lives today that completely avoid toothless scurvy ‘neath a cardboard box.

Vote No On Proposal 15-1

Gas Taxes.. say what?

Oh that’s right, it didn’t pass.

It didn’t pass, the voters said “no,” but what the heck.  From the official propaganda unit of the MDoT

October 10, 2016 — The City of Ishpeming and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) marked the opening of two new modern roundabouts at a ceremony this morning, bringing the summer’s $4 million major construction investment to a close.

“MDOT and the City of Ishpeming collaborated in outstanding fashion to improve a longstanding safety problem and access management challenge in the City of Ishpeming,” said Aaron Johnson, manager of MDOT’s Ishpeming Transportation Service Center. “These modern roundabouts bring a safe and efficient transportation solution to US-41 and the city, and provide a wonderful new gateway to the community.”

Emboldened text deciphering:  “Don’t forget to keep making the NASCAR turns.”

Mike Pence Destroys Clown

Deranged clown robs debate of dignity, punished by Indiana governor

joker-kaineNo matter which side of the political fence you might be on, you saw that Gov Mike Pence pummeled Sen Tim Kaine in last night’s debate.

Taking a page from Joe Biden’s drug induced debate performance of a few years ago, Kaine put on the creepy clown smiley face and persuaded America that he was actually trying out for Batman 12 – Resurrection of Joker. With a style of interruptions never seen before in presidential level debates, he embarrassed himself and quite possibly Hillary Clinton (assuming embarrassment is even possible for these two).

Pence wisely did not allow the adolescent antics of Kaine to get under his skin, stayed focused, and even professed his Christian faith in a way not often seen on a debate stage. He demonstrated class and accurately described the lessening of our nation’s security under the watch of Hillary and Obama, all the while Kaine was verbally poking him with a stick.

Team Trump looks real heroic after last night’s performance.

In Sheep’s Clothing

Upcoming Alinsky video a "must see?"

I am not sure of the last time I would have spent 10 minutes or more on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).

For no reason other than that I generally watch TV to provide ‘escape’ on some level, EWTN is not usually my go-to channel.  Of course given the content of an upcoming program, there might be a little self reflection in our future. What we find ‘acceptable’ today, is markedly different than what might have passed not too many years ago, before the damaging effects of relative change.

Saul Alinsky was a smart cookie. But he was also a terrible influence on our nation.  Hat tip to submitter John, who notes the interesting juxtaposition of the programming, and the way in which the Church has participated in some way with some of what a video on it’s network is targeting.

“.. With organized religion (in general) such an integral portion of any present/future societal-based solution; it is incredible that the Catholic church has promoted this negative view of past(?) American church leadership as a history primer for succeeding generations.

A must see for those who believe that the church (long playing an intimate role) simply doesn’t ‘get it’ in terms of where we’ve been and where we’re fast headed ..”

Indeed.

Enjoy the trailer, and consider setting the DVR for Saturday Night at 10:30.

Define “Blown Away”

Will Michigan continue to provide unchecked investments for unworthy results?

pure-somethingI would say that yes, we were indeed “Blown away” by the abuses of our state government allowing such abuse by the taxpayer.

Pure Michigan has become the key phrase for all thing corruptible and cronyist. According to Cap Con, much of the taxpayer largess spent on economic development has yielded zero benefit. They point out:

“.. In addition, some investment groups received millions through the fund but created zero jobs and no proceeds ..”

“Investment”  ..It has a catchy ring to it, yes?
