Michigan Politics

Michigan Political considerations.

Since when did, “We surrender unconditionally, wholeheartedly and unequivocally”, ever lead to accomplishing anything?

Well, it’s in the hopper.

Yesterday afternoon, Rep. LaFave introduced HR 324 to initiate impeachment proceeding against one Gretchen Esther Whitmer.

Take you pick on which one is the best reason:

  • Abusing her power.
  • Adversely affecting the education of millions of Michigan Students by depriving them of a proper education. (Work with me on this one, people)
  • Ignoring her oath of office and using the Michigan Constitution to wipe her backside with.
  • The deaths of thousands of Michigan Seniors with her “orders”.

The bill has been referred to the Committee on Government Operations.

It’s fate is inexplicably in limbo given SML Shirkey and Speaker Chatfield’s rather unusual tactic of waving the white flag, even after they both criticized the untold damage her actions have wrought on Michigan’s economy and general well being given her “orders” this year alone.

When you let a petulant child run wild for as long as you both have, and fail to act as a responsible adult (you know, that office you ran for), what other possible outcome did you expect?

My advice to readers, light up the phone lines, people!

YOUR elected officials can be reached here and here.

Speaker Lee Chatfield groveling on his knees before a democrat.

It’s now or never!

How Trump Lost Michigan

Four years ago, I wrote a long analysis of How Trump won Michigan.  The key points of that analysis are

  • Trump did much better than other republicans in rural and downscale (working class/union) areas like Downriver, Macomb, suburban Genesee, and the northeastern Lower Peninsula.
  • Trump did poorly in upscale (highly educated) suburbs in Oakland, Kent, and Kalamazoo counties.
  • Turnout in Detroit was relatively poor, providing democrats with a relatively small absolute margin there.

Trump’s margin of victory in Michigan in 2016 was 10,704 votes.  At the moment, the unofficial totals show Joe Biden with 2,804,039 votes and Trump with 2,649,852 votes.  Biden’s margin over Trump is 154,187 votes.  This analysis will consider county vote totals to determine where this shift occurred, and whether there is any reason to be suspicious of the official totals.

County Margin Changes

Trump’s performance by county is illustrated in the map below.

Data at the SOS website is broken down by county.  Subtracting 2016 and 2020 margins, we find the biggest (approximate) changes in margin in the following counties.

-54200 Oakland
-32500 Wayne
-30900 Kent
-23000 Washtenaw
-11300 Ingham
-10700 Kalamazoo
  -9400 Macomb
  -7300 Ottawa
  -4600 Grand Traverse

“When you meet your maker, your soul will be very warm.”

Canvasser threatens other canvasser. Then the vote changes.

Crazy.

The Wayne county board of canvassers deadlocked, resulting in the failure of vote certification in the fraud plagued SW Michigan county.  This good news resulted in legal threats from the Governors office, Biden sycophants, and finally this gem, a virtue signalling screed of bullshit worthy of only the greatest professional race baiters like Sharpton, Jackson, etc.

Ned Staebler, a Wayne County board of canvassers member makes a threat.  And under duress, the Republican members cave and reverse the deadlock on certifying the massive fraud in Wayne county. See Video.

Ironically, this round of voter fraud probably disenfranchised more black voters as a result.  Donald Trump likely received more Black votes in Detroit than any Republican candidate ever.  But Those votes belong to the Democrats when the system is rigged, the training provided by the Secretary of State promotes voter fraud, and frankly sit down and shut up.

It took you long enough?

I guess that he has never heard of something called “e-mail” (or even a facsimile machine or even a telephone).

Isn’t technology grand?

Not content to get upstaged by his democrat comrades down the street with how far they are willing to break the law in order to steal the election (and win “brownie points” within the MDP), Macounb County Clerk Fred Miller decided to take his time in letting his fellow clerks within Macomb County know when voters should be removed from the rolls.

According to Channel 7 (yes, the same Channel 7 that practically tripped over itself to run cover for the voting debacle at Cobo Hall), Clinton Township Clerk Kim Meltzer received last week a stack of death certificates of Macomb County Voters to be removed from voter rolls.

Clinton Township Clerk Kim Meltzer

The problem?

Those death certificates arrived on November 6th…days after their votes had been counted.

I shouldn’t have to remind anyone that dead people cannot vote here in Michigan.

Even when the clerk has access to a Ouija Board.

Nope, sorry, can’t do it no matter how much you want it to be so.

Naturally, Macomb County Clerk Fred Miller could not be bothered to respond.

Not that it matters much. He will be out of that office on Friday Morning, January 1st!

The ‘Dangler’ Algorithm.

The angle of the dangle is proportionate to it's straight ticket mass.

Yeah ..it’s an hour and 10 minutes.

Once you start, you won’t want to quit however.  Dr. Shiva does a great job of tracing the algorithm used to defraud Trump voters by targeting higher percentage GOP precincts identified by the way people vote.

You may never ‘straight ticket’ again.

Its time to start arresting folks.

Absentee Ballot Backdating Fraud in Detroit

From investigative reporter John Solomon, formerly of the The Washington Post, The Washington Times, and The Hill:

Detroit city worker blows whistle, claims ballots were ordered backdated, FBI probing

The FBI is investigating allegations of election fraud in Detroit after a city worker stepped forward and claimed election workers were asked to backdate ballots that had come in after the election deadline had passed, multiple officials said.

A senior law enforcement official in Washington confirmed that an investigation was opened after the whistleblower’s concerns were forwarded from the Michigan Republican Party. “The FBI is investigating,” the official said.

GOP officials in Michigan said the whistleblower was identified and assisted by Phill Kline, the head of the Thomas More Society’s Amistad Project, which has been litigating voting disputes and irregularities across the country for months.

I doubt this would change enough votes to change the outcome of the election, but regardless this needs to be investigated, and any fraud prosecuted.

Michigan 2020 Election Results

President:  50.6-47.9 Biden over Trump.  The raw margin was about 146,000.  Close, but not quite enough.

Senate: 49.8-48.3 for Peters over John James.  The raw margin was about 84,000.  That’s probably too large a margin to be due to voter fraud, but any credible allegations of fraud should be investigated.

Proposal 1 (natural resources): 84% yes.

Proposal 2 (privacy): 89% yes.  A rare moment of bipartisan agreement.

Supreme Court:  32% McCormick, 20% Welch for the two winning Ds.  17% Kelly, 14% Swartzle for the two Rs.  Ds take a 4-3 majority on the court.  This will have bad consequences.

State Board of Education:  Ds took both slots, with a 45K vote margin between the second and third candidates.
University of Michigan:  D Mark Bernstein was reelected.  R Sarah Hubbard snagged the second slot with a 12K vote margin over the other D.
Michigan State:  R Pat O’Keefe took the top slot, and D Rema Vassar took second.  D incumbent Brian Mosallam took third, and R Tonya Schuitmaker was fourth.
Wayne State:  R former SOS Terri Land was first, and D Sherley Stancato was second.

Congress:

1. 61-37 for Bergman.  If Bergman keeps his term limits pledge, this seat will be open in 2022.
2. 59-38 for Huizinga.
3. 53-47 for Meijer.  Kent has trended in the wrong direction.  Hopefully Meijer locks it down.
4. 65-32 for Moolenaar.
5. 42-54 for Kildee.  Closer due to Trump’s appeal to blue collar workers.
6. 56-40 Upton.  A better result against the far-left Hoadley.  If Upton is thinking about retirement, 2022 would be a good year to do so.
7. 59-41 Walberg. This is Walberg’s best margin yet in what was once a swing district.
8. 47.3-50.9 for Slotkin.  A stronger candidate could have won.  This district will likely change significantly in redistricting.
9. 38-58 for Andy Levin.
10. 66-34 for McClain.
11. 47.8-50.2 for Stevens.  Esshaki did well under the circumstances.  This district probably gets chopped up in redistricting.
12. 31-66 for Debbie Dingell.
13. 19-78 for Tlaib.
14. 19-79 for Lawrence.

State house.  Republicans lost two seats and picked up two, for no net change.  The majority is now 58-52.  Conservative Jason Wentworth will be the new speaker.

3-9. Rs got 2-7% in the all-Detroit districts.
13. 42-58 for Tullio Liberati.  This district might be worth contesting in the future.
19. 49.8-50.2 for Pohutski (258 votes).  The same margin as in 2018.  Rs should contest this again.
20. 45-55 for Koleszar.  This upscale suburban district was lost in 2018.
23. 47.5-52.5 for Camilleri.  This district must be contested in 2022, when it will be open.
25. 47-53 for Shannon.  This could have been won with a better candidate.
31. 44-56 for Sowerby.  This could be worth more effort in the future.
38. 48.4-51.6 for Breen.  LOSS in an open suburban seat that was close in 2018.
39. 52-47 for Berman against a far-left candidate.  This was heavily targeted by Ds.
40. 42-58 for Manoogian.  This upscale suburban district swung hard in 2018 after long being safe R.
41. 45-55 for Kuppa.  Lost in 2018, but may be worth contesting again.
43. 60-40 for Schroeder.  Some pundits absurdly thought this would be close.
44. 60-40 for Maddock.
45. 52.3-47.7 for Tisdel.  Close win in a district heavily targeted by Ds.
48. 50.5-49.5 for David Martin.  PICKUP in a blue collar suburban Flint district against far-left incumbent Sheryl Kennedy.
50. 46-54 for Sneller.  Close due to Trump performing well in suburban Flint.
59. 64-36 for Carra.  Possibly the most conservative new member.
60. 25-75 for Rogers.  She previously lost the 61st in 2006 and 2008.
61. 46-54 for Morse.  LOSS in an open suburban seat that was close in 2018.
62. 48.7-51.3 for Haadsma.  Another close loss for Dave Morgan.
63. 61-36 for Matt Hall.
66. 59-41 for Beth Griffin.  The D here got some hype, but it wasn’t close.
67. 46-54 for Hope.  This district is sometimes close, but never close enough.
71. 47.3-51.2 for Witwer.  This district was lost in 2018.
72. 55-45 for Steven Johnson.
73. 57-42 for Posthumus.  MIRS had a poll that showed a 1 point race.
79. 57-43 for Wendzel.  The D candidate got a lot of hype here.
91. 60-40 for VanWoerkem.  Big win in a former swing district.
96. 57-43 for Timothy Beson.  PICKUP in a blue collar Bay County against an incumbent who renounced his pro-life position.
98. 59-41 for Annette Glenn.  Much bigger margin than in 2018, when utilities spent heavily.
99. 61-37 for Hauck.
104. 51-47 for John Roth.  Better candidate than the scandal-plagued incumbent.
109. 42-57 for Cambensy.  This district may be worth targeting when open.
110. 58-41 for Markkanen.  This was a surprise pickup in 2018.

In 2022, Rs should target districts 19, 23, 25, 38, 50, 62, and 71.  Of course, there will be a new district map, so some district boundaries or numbers will change.

My ratings turned out to be pretty accurate.  Every race I had at likely or safe for a party was won by that party.  The only lean races I missed were house 48 and 96.  My state house tossups had margins of 0.4, 3.2, 5, 8, and 4.  My lean R races had margins from 4 to 24.  My lean D races had margins of 10, 6, -1, 1, and -14.  The closest margin in a race I had at safe was 5 (house 23).  My lean ratings for Congress had margins of 6, 16, 3.6.

Do-Over

Michigan statewide results are unworthy of certification, period.

Michigan’s top election official has soiled the bed.

Not unexpected, but very real and is as evident as the mess dripping off 6tally sheets in Detroit since counting started Tuesday evening.  Giving Jocelyn Benson the benefit of the doubt, I guess we could call the entire affair ..gross incompetence.  You can decide if it is enough to explain illegal mailings, purposefully overwhelming clerks with procedure changes, and dropping late notice and unnecessary and illegal rules about firearms in election places.

Her office is apparently unavailable at the most critical times during the count, and when fraud is literally happening before folks eyes, there is no adherence to state law.  To call this ‘planned malfeasance’ would be a compliment, as the evidence piles up making the case for felony election manipulation seemingly only possible in 2020.

In 2016 there weren’t agents in Michigan’s top offices. In 2016 they didn’t see Donald Trump even having even the slightest chance of winning the ‘blue state’ of Michigan.  It’s 2020, and three criminals run the prison, and they saw him coming this time.

Antrim County offers a glimpse at what might happen when we have problems with electronic equipment and such, but Detroit is as Detroit as it has ever been, and with it’s large population, it offers great cover for the largest election fraud operation ever perpetrated on the voters in Michigan.  this state has seen it for decades, and that is why there are laws that protect the sanctity of the vote, and why there are procedures to allow challenges to illegal ballots and over counting.

This time it was overwhelming, and those laws are being ignored.  Ballots appearing after cut off times, ballots being re-run, ballots with no names being run?  Challengers are being kept away from inspecting after calling out these problems, and a majority of this action happening in one particular place.

Any judge looking to answer the Trump campaign’s concerns on this will have to have options however.

The usual suspects (Updated).

Short update from my earlier post today.

After waking up and finding that my phone has blown up with texts, I’ve been told by my sources onsite that the City of Detroit is up to its old tricks when it comes to election shenanigans.

After a pallet of ballots (yes, I said pallet), mysteriously appeared without any documentation as to its source, Detroit election officials began to play games with observers by letting Republican Poll Watchers leave the ballot counting room in Cobo Hall throughout the day, but would NOT let their replacements enter the room, claiming that their numbers were “violating” Detroit’s Wuhan Virus policies.

When things began getting contentious after being locked out (and Detroit PD called on scene), Detroit election officials began covering the windows to the room, so that no outside observers could see what was happening inside.

Just a quick reminder to readers that this isn’t the fist time that Detroit election officials have played games with elections.

During the ’16 Presidential Election, Detroit election officials couldn’t reconcile an issue where 59% of the precincts poll books did not match the results from the polling machines.

Back in August of this year, the Wayne County Board of Canvassers were made aware of problems with counting being done incorrectly (i.e. counting beginning before the required poll books were available) and how insecure the ballots were in transit to Cobo Hall for counting.

NUMEROUS issues with poll books were reported in a subsequent meeting.

And, of yeah, I cannot forget to mention how large amounts of AV ballots mysteriously went “missing”.

It should be noted that the Vice Chair of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, is one Jonathan C. Kinloch. Aide to Gretchen Whitmer and Chairman of the 13th Congressional District Democrats (“The Mighty 13th”). Along with that brief introduction, he has a very interesting history not included in his bio that I may go into at a later date.

So not getting too far off topic, where was our Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson at during all of this?

Stay tuned…

Scratch that!

Nope, nothing irregular or questionable happening here!

Even more incriminating footage (start watching at 5:27 mark).

Anyone want to take a wild guess as to how many election protocols have been violated in just that above clip alone?

A ‘Glitch’

Antrim County may have exposed a significant issue with voting during the 2020 Presidential election.

If it was not for a history of STRONG conservative voting in a Northern Michigan County, we might not have been aware of yet ONE more way in which Michigan’s vote is being manipulated.

This mornings discovery of a Biden win in Antrim County was by any estimation an amazing thing.  Literally ‘flipping’ the 70% GOP stronghold on its head, the vote gave the former president an unrealistic win over the popular President.  The county clerk somehow missed the obvious* after the tallies were made and the data reported up to the state.  From the Free Press:

Antrim County Clerk Sheryl Guy, a Republican who ran unopposed and won a third four-year term Tuesday in the strongly GOP county, said results on electronic tapes and a computer card were accurate but it appeared that some of the results were somehow scrambled after the cards were transported in sealed bags from township precincts to county offices and downloaded onto a computer.

In 2016, Trump won Antrim County with about 62% of the vote, compared to about 33% for Democrat Hillary Clinton. Trump beat Clinton by about 4,000 votes.

Last nights reported total had Biden beating Trump 7769 – 4409.

And to add a little perspective on this, I would wager that at least 4500 Antrim County folks were present for the Trump Rally Monday.  In fact the county is SO PRO TRUMP, they sent logging trucks to assist in the rally prep, providing additional walls for the event and protection of our President.

Anyone familiar with this part of the state would immediately recognize the numbers as being suspect.  It certainly calls for a complete and intensive investigation, and reminds us that election integrity in Michigan is not guaranteed.  Officials might claim that the system worked and we caught it this time, but somehow this rings a little untrue.  What would have happened I wonder – if the predisposition of the county to the GOP was less known?
