Social Justice protestors will cannibalize themselves

Had the police brutality protests focused on what we all watched on the video of a bad cop killing a civilian, all of America would be on board for meaningful changes and justice.

Saul Alinsky would be proud of what we are all witnessing on the streets of America today.  His Rules for Radicals tactics are being carried out flawlessly.

The question remains as to whether or not this movement will cannibalize itself, or simply fade with past social change movements.

The reason is simple, the selfishness of the organizers, and leaders within these social groups which focuses on the abuse of power solely from the perspective of one demographic, generally at the expense of the mass majority of everyone else.

An example would be the difference in treatment from both the government and the media towards lockdown, and police brutality protesters who are both protesting abuse of power.

Had the police brutality protests focused on what we saw on the video of a bad cop killing a civilian, all of America would be on board for meaningful changes and justice.

Lockdown and police brutality protestors share a common enemy

It is rare when one topic can bring everyone to stand still, but a virus has and it has revealed and even more dangerous virus--Government overreach and abuse of power. We should be unified instead, we are even more divided.

Each of us will handle ourselves as we feel appropriate, and we don’t require the government to treat us like children dictating terms of our survival, nor do we need them deeming our work “essential or not.”  The economic damage caused by the government could be felt for years to come by each of us.

Add to the mix another type of government over-reach, which are the abuses by a few in law enforcement, and then add in political opportunists who ready to exploit a tragedy and what you wind up with is rage and civil unrest

Michigan Capitol Gun Ban—A solution devoid of a problem”.

It is clear that some in government and in the media detest guns and use every emotional opportunity to drive a wedge between law-abiding citizens and their firearms. They have seized upon imagery in the Capitol to push yet again for Draconian and unconstitutional gun control.

Michigan is an open carry state, and one of 18 states which allows people to lawfully carry in the people’s house, their Capitol.

Protesting at the Michigan Capitol has been a traditional exercise in principle for several decades, inside and out—generally without incident and not one incident with a firearm. Aside from triggering emotionally-unstable leftists, zero damage has occurred.

The most recent incident was in 2012 during the right-to-work protest. Many thousand union members stormed the Capitol, and some were arrested after breaking onto the Senate floor. Violence took over a peaceful protest on the lawn of the capital, as a tent which was erected for pro-RTW demonstrators was torn down by violent protesters. Michigan State police had to wear riot gear. Capitol sergeants were on high alert. A friendly sergeant even asked me “if we could get some of the militia boys to come down as back-up.”

It turned out to be one of the most violent demonstrations in recent Michigan history, and yet not one single gun was pulled and not one shot was ever fired.

Fast forward to April 2020, after weeks of government taking extremely controversial steps in handling the coronavirus pandemic by stealing the liberty and livelihood of the citizens. People are restless, bored, struggling, succumbing to depression and alcoholism, and pissed off.

Liberty GOP District to hold fundraiser

Founders_Dinner_Flyer_FB

Since the uprising of the grassroots to reshape Wayne County’s 13th Congressional District, messaging and branding have been at the forefront of the changes made in order to set the stage for proper candidate recruitment and development.

Reaching out to the district properly using the right tools takes funding.

Like you, I decided to get involved to make a difference. Our communities in Wayne County have been overrun with progressivism, and collectivism. But a growing number of people just like you are changing that terrible trend for the better.

You see, our republican organization has taken a stand against the hypocrisies within our own party and the destructive policies of the left. With the new formation of the District we are changing the conversation by reaching out to newer audiences with a clear and defined message of individual liberty.

If you share my concerns and wish to help with our goals, please consider attending our upcoming Fundraiser event.

You are invited to join us on Tuesday October 27, 2015 @ 7:00PM
