Misdemeanor charges are being dropped against a Michigan barber who defied Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and reopened his shop last spring during the coronavirus pandemic, a lawyer said Monday.
The case against Karl Manke of Owosso fizzled after the Michigan Supreme Court on Oct. 2 said Whitmer used an unconstitutional law as the foundation for emergency orders to control the virus, David Kallman said.
….
Kallman said the Shiawassee County Prosecutor’s Office is dropping the case.
Rule of Law and common sense prevails. Time for celebration? Mmmm, not so fast.
“That women from Michigan” is nasty, totally incompetent and, completely detached from reality with being deeply mired in her unAmerican Democrat Party agenda but, the lawyer in her knows when she is defeated.
Across Michigan, restaurants can reopen to dine-in service June 8. So can day camps for children, swimming pools. Outdoor crowds of up to 100 allowed immediately. Office work OK if work can't be done remotely. In-home services like housecleaning OK https://t.co/vJquRRDrHq
It’s been mostly disheartening to watch Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s DNC coordinated economic destruction play out by her every ass-covering Executive Order issued with how the Michigan public and legislature has rolled over and, obeyed as if we were born as indoctrinated slaves. Is it that we all do not see what communism looks like? There are those of us on this planet that are, in the face of all odds against them with a crushing jackboot coming down that makes one disappear from existence, they have the spirit and will to stand up against tyranny.
With today's #HongKongProtests, this interview with #HongKong frontline protester "Little Driver" hits home.
“I don’t want to lose this home. So no matter how hard [this] is or how hopeless…we still have to…fight back.”
In January of 1983, Governor James Blanchard had a problem. Michigan was in recession, losing jobs, and the legislature was facing declining tax revenues. Blanchard needed to hike taxes in order to maintain government spending, since real spending cuts seemed out of the question. He proposed, and passed through the legislature, a 38% income tax hike.
Taxpayers revolted. Recall drives were launched against Governor Blanchard and 14 state senators who supported the tax hike. Citizens launching these recalls were not taken seriously at first because no governor or state lawmaker had ever been recalled in the history of Michigan. Why?
Cold Fury™.
Today, with same pending doom soon to come crashing down upon our state budget, I see nothing but lazy rallying around a brave septuagenarian barber. God bless Karl Manke, however, where has the 1983 kind of spirit with all in Michigan gone?
It would be funny if not so sad, however, Gretchen Whitmer represents the intellectual deficiency of those who watch “The Spew.” Yes, again, told you so. 🤡 🌎
Tho, there is a silver lining to this Whitmer cloud looming over us that is beginning to reveal himself.
On two calls with the White House, Whitmer said she told federal officials it would be “helpful if they would take some effort to bring down the heat.”
“The heat is ratcheting up,” she said. “And it only makes things worse and so it was my request that they consider doing something to bring down the heat.”
“They noted that they heard the request,” Whitmer said.
Before delving into the dam failure and, moving known COVID-19 positive cases into senior and longterm care facilities, and a COVID positive case with mental issues that assaulted a 77-year-old veteran, let us reflect upon the identifiable mental disorders of the following tweet.
It feels like the perfect moment to remind @dananessel and @JocelynBenson how grateful I am for their dedication and hard work, and how proud I am to serve our state with them. These women from Michigan are the best of the best!

What a shame. Like Obama, Democrat governors like Whitmer are willing to throw away all the goodwill that President Trump has built for cops all across this nation, with simply exercising their Power to Fire for insubordination any LEO who doesn’t “just following orders”.
We’re awake all across America, Sir. Thanks you for all you do, Mr. Greg Anderson!
You have a choice, LEO. Do what is right (deep down you know it is), do the honorable thing, respect our U.S. Constitution or, let the chips fall where they may.
Never let a crisis go to waste, right? Especially, when it is a legal crisis they got themselves into. Oh, and if you think that tweet and the links are bad now, you ain’t seen nothing yet…
