SE Michigan Tea Party Meeting June 14th – Featuring Katie Hopkins

From my inbox:

The Southeastern Michigan Tea Party will he hosting Conservative Commentator Katie Hopkins at their nest meeting on Friday, June 14th. Doors open at 6:00pm with the meeting beginning promptly at 7:00pm.

Ms. Hopkins will be showing her newest project “Homelands” (along with Q&A following).

Here is a brief synopsis of her documentary:

“There is a silent exodus underway in Western Europe – an entire generation no longer feel like they belong. Intimidated by a rapidly growing Muslim population, fearful of the rabid anti-Semitism of the left, and weary of feeling like targets for attack, Jewish and Christian families are on the move, looking for a new place to call home. They have no voice. Homelands in their story.”

The meeting will be held at the Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church located at 3600 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

For more information, contact the SE Michigan Tea Party via their website.

Governor Whitmer Thanks You For Your Political Donations

A bunch of crazies were elected on Whitmer's coat tails in the 2018 election cycle. Thanks to the largesse of your electric utility. And you.

Anyone with DTE electric and gas service donated about $ 1 towards Governor Whitmer’s election last year. DTE donated $ 840,000 to the Progressive Advocacy Trust and the Michigan Democratic State Center.  The Progressive Advocacy Trust is an ill disguised front for the Ingham County Democrats, Ms. Whitmer’s home base.

Both groups supported Whitmer in 2018 through cascade contributions made in turn to Build A Better Michigan in the 2018 primary election and A Stronger Michigan in the 2018 general election. All these groups gamed Michigan election law, laundering corporate contributions and transforming them into political advertising supporting Whitmer.

The laundering was quite effective. You would never know that DTE was contributing to Whitmer by looking at BABM’s financial disclosures. Whitmer concealed the corporate contributions further by using snail mail to file her campaign finance reports.

These contributions eventually wound up at Whitmer’s media shop, Great America Media, a Democratic campaign management outfit on K Street in Washington which placed all her mass media advertising.  They paid for her TV ad campaign.

Build A Better Michigan was actually found to have violated Michigan campaign finance laws. Only because they were screwing other Democrats in the primary election cycle.  No one of importance would have cared if only Republicans were being screwed. BABM got a sweetheart deal from our new Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, paying only $ 37,500 and agreeing to dissolve itself.

Tu quoque

A Republican group, Michigan Jobs and Labor Foundation, was fined $ 18,000 for identical campaign law violations in 2014 The MJALF fine equaled its illegal 2014 advertising expenditures. Build A Better Michigan spent $ 1.8 million in its illegal 2018 advertising campaign, so its $ 37,500 fine was 2.1% of its illegal expenditures.

Governor Whitmer and DTE got a sweetheart deal from our new Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson.

Michigan Town Hall – We Build the Wall March 14th (Update!!!)

Okay, I just got back from a weekend with the family and I’m catching up on some correspondence when I came upon this in my inbox from the We Build The Wall organizers over the weekend:

This is Brian Kolfage. I want to make sure you all are aware that we moved our venue to Cobo Center.

Two reasons why. We outgrew the Warren location by a long shot. We aren’t sure how many 1000’s are showing up so we need to be prepared.

Secondly, security. We need command and control of this event and the venue Cobo Center offers this security for our guests.

With onsite secure parking, and onsite security who is trained to deal with these functions they are highly competent. Furthermore, we have 18 on duty Detroit Police Officers dedicated to working out event.

With all these steps taken we believe security of our guests and speakers to be priority and have mitigated any mishaps from protestors who will not be permitted in the venue or building.

This is going to be an awesome event for everyone and want to ensure it’s safe and secure for you and your friends.

Thank you for understanding! I hope to see you there!

Brian Kolfage

While I’m glad at the outpouring of support for this event which apparently has more Conservatives backing it, than who attended last months GOP State Convention (how sad is that), I’ve got to chime in a several items regarding this Thursday’s event.

With all due respect to Mr. Kolfage, if anyone thinks that they’ve got the agitators under control…you don’t.

Yes, you can “secure” Cobo Hall and keep them at bay.

No, you cannot keep them from harassing attendees entering or exiting Cobo, or worse yet, vandalizing property. The Cobo Parking lots CANNOT be secured. Not only is it a public parking lot, it’s just far too big to effectively patrol.

Making matters worse, my sources have tipped me off that they are already aware of the new venue and are already planning for it. Unfortunately, that’s all I have at the moment.

This IS NOT meant to warn people away.

Just the opposite. I want to see as many people as possible at Cobo this Thursday. I especially want to see them arrive and leave as safely as possible for what should be a memorable evening (in a good way).

I would just want to make a friendly warning for attendees to locate other parking options around Downtown Detroit. There are many within walking distance of Cobo, and this is one of the rare times when I’ll advocate using it, take the People Mover to get to and from Cobo.

So to wrap things up, The We Build The Wall Michigan Town Hall will NOW be held at Cobo Hall in Downtown Detroit in Hall “B” from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

And from The We Build The Wall event page:

DOORS OPEN AT 5:30PM SHARP AT COBO CENTER

NEED GOVERNMENT ID MATCHING TICKET TO GAIN ENTRANCE

To ensure the safety and security of all guests, we respectfully request that attendees refrain from bringing back packs or any other personal bags or luggage. Upon arrival you will be subject to a security check prior to entry which will include metal detecting wands and a possible pat down in the event the wand detects metal of any kind.

Again, I’m not trying to scare anyone away. Forewarned and forearmed…that sort of thing.

So, where is the REAL “Constitutional Crisis”?

This is a buzzword that you’re going to be hearing quite a bit over the next several days.

The democrats, along with their willing accomplices in the republican party (NO, this is NOT a typo), are going to be pulling out all of the stops and throw a temper tantrum worthy of a three-year old child as they allow the crisis along our southern border to fester and grow while they try obfuscate along with deflecting attention away from and prolong the problem for as long as they can.

Turning away potential voters/cheap labor/brand spanking new entitlement recipients does not bode well during the next election cycle.

Oh, and there’s more…

{Hit that little red button below find out what that is}

Showing your true colors.

Despite the calls for “bipartisianship”(remember when THAT was the buzzword), “tolerance”, blah-blah-blah, etc, AG Nessel officially went off the reservation yesterday and signed Michigan onto a multistate lawsuit AGAINST Pres. Trump and his actions to protect everyday Americans from the illegal aliens massing along the southern border.

This is what happens when the republican kakistocracy runs a boat anchor at the top of the ticket and p.o.’s The Grassroots when it doesn’t cut ties with a certain Supreme Court Justice. Tom Leonard would NEVER have signed off on this!

Curiously, as of this morning, she didn’t feel that it was important to share her passion to protect a major threat to Michigananians with the rest of us through official channels.

I’m running late for a run, but more to follow later…

Encore

Give that speech writer a medal.

Truth be told, I had been anticipating the President’s State of The Union a bit.

Pelosi opened the people’s house to the speech, and I was not sure if she understood that Trump has no limit switch. He was not likely to roll over and behave in a way that made her or the (currently) Democrat controlled house look very good.

Donald J Trump did not disappoint. He was persuasive, challenged the non-stop efforts to make his job difficult, and showed the country that all that the white suited (cult like) XX congress critters wanted was Grrrl Power. His words drew them out, revealing that the heroes on the president’s guest list weren’t worthy of their praise or approval, including holocaust, cancer, and extreme violence survivors.

He exposed them.

He brought out socialism, and forced those in attendance to face the demon in the room.  Bernie Sanders may have had to change his shorts soon after the speech, as the redness of his face on Trump’s declaration that “America Will Never Be A Socialist Country” indicated he (Sanders) was likely baking a cookie.

The President then closed out with one of the best examples of a sincere conviction that our best is yet to come, but only if we come together.  The epilogue finding itself as probably the best DJT speech on achievement and aspiration I have witnessed.

Truly worth a second look.
