Liberalocks & The Three Bears

Once upon a time, there was a little Michigan Millennial Bohemian named Liberalocks.  She  went for a walk in the  suburbs near the state capitol (Okemos).  Pretty soon, she came upon a house.  She knocked and, when no one answered, she walked right in because she had been taught to be entitled.

At the table in the kitchen, there were three bowls of gluten free porridge.  Liberalocks was hungry, and without hesitation or consideration for other people’s property, tasted the porridge from the first bowl.

“This gluten free porridge is too hot!” she exclaimed. “How dare someone leave such a hazard lying around! Perhaps I call an agency about this?  There must certainly be a law!”

Then, she tasted the gluten free porridge from the second bowl.

“This porridge is too cold,” she said “It’s just not fair!  There are standards for food service in this country! And how did my dreadlocks fall into it?!”

Welcome To The Third World.

bananas-504478_1920I have been amused in the past when liberal Democrat demonstrations spark a chant of “This is what Democracy looks like..

No.  its not.

They have achieved the goals of their epic struggle against tradition, rule of law, and flat out decency and morals. It is NOT what a Democracy looks like.   This is what a Banana Republic looks like:

FBI Director James Comey has announced that Hillary Clinton acted ‘carelessly’ but committed no crimes with regards to her private e-mail server through which she conducted official government business.  Further, he announced there would be no charges filed whatsoever.  This is despite numerous criminal offenses being already known by the general public through a plethora of FOIA.  Officially, there is no longer any rule of law in this country.

Hometown Paper Rallies Around Editor

The Argus wraps itself around former editor Rich Perlberg in an attempt to brush off legitimate criticism of his 'Republican' bona-fides.

perlbergIt must hurt to be kicked there.

Chutzpa.

And man parts the size of watermelons.

Golly, its as if we’ve never offered an opinion before.  I can picture the call:

“Oh my gosh, they hurt my feelings..  please help..”

Of course, what good newspaper editorial department dogs its own former leader when he wants to turn hero and run for office in the ‘other party.’

That’s pretty much all I have to say.  Now Jennifer Hensley on the other hand? She has a bit more

In my ideal world, every primary race would have at least two candidates.  There would be a spirited campaign with in-depth media scrutiny, several debates or forums, and the voters could then compare their options and vote for the candidate who best represents their positions.  Human nature being what it is, this almost never happens.  Let’s use the Michigan 42nd House race as an exemplar.”

How Can Rich Perlberg Walk Straight?

Obama supporter thinks he can prevail in Michigan's 42nd district Republican Primary.

perlbergChutzpa.

And man parts the size of watermelons.

That is the only way I can describe one of the ‘Republican’ candidates in Michigan’s 42nd district State Representative race. The former general manager of the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus entered into the four way Republican primary April 11, and apparently offers himself up as the RINO candidate.  (sorry Kevin, this one sticks)

And other Republican In Name Only candidates could only be jealous of the nerve Rich Perlberg has demonstrated in calling such a socialist standard as Barack Obama, a good choice for conservatives.  Jennifer Hensley documents the history of editorials from the Press & Argus including doozies like this endorsement:

Wednesday Divertere – The Expert

As the Obamacare fiasco goes on, so do the preposterous claims that it will save money.

The ACA planners undoubtedly ran into a man like Anderson in the video, yet were unswayed in their quest to make red lines out of blue (or transparent) ink. Economics however, not being too difficult, is still a basic skill that is not yet fully understood by the progressive left. (And those who think that expanding welfare in Michigan brings a financial advantage to the state)

The 2013 RightMi.Com Scorecard

scorecardMost folks actively watching the goings on in Lansing might already be aware of the MichiganVotes.org site run by the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.

Nowhere else can you find a more complete collection of legislative efforts.  Easily referenced, and with a record of votes by legislator, party, the chambers the votes were taken in, and legislative sessions. It is an incredibly useful tool when trying to find out how your legislator voted on any particular issue of interest.  Its a great way of keeping these ‘servants’ in check when they claim to be conservative, but vote like the liberals or something even worse.

How cool is that?

One feature often overlooked however,
