Just in case you need to know the platform
Speaker Platform basics.
1. Nothing comes before the Congress for spending authorization unless it is Constitutional
2. The Hastert rule is strictly enforced
3. Committee assignments based on real expertise and commitment to the constitution
4. ALL spending Bills will contain auto sunset clause, Some other legislation may.
5. No more crying.
6. Establish committee to review of all previous legislation to eliminate and simplify federal code.
7. Establish Constitutional review committee for passed and proposed legislation
When you win...please promise to be more honest than louie:

Fact. The last time that 'conservative' House Reps were given the exact same opportunity to 'come out' against the Speaker's nomination...they trusted him no more then than they do today and flat out cowered when given the chance to say publicly what needed to be said (win or not).
Here Louie is talking out of both sides of his mouth (again):
"...we’re not changing anything **UNTIL** you secure the border and here’s the money to do it and you’re not — we’re defunding your czars, we’re defunding everything that means anything to you that America doesn’t need. We’re defunding all of these things **UNLESS** you secure the border..."
Using (previously constitutionally mandated) national security as a 'bargaining chip' for "..everything that means anything to (Obama) that America doesn’t need.." doesn't sound any more convincing in terms of competent leadership (to me) than 'punting' when given the chance to stand up against even the highest profile individuals day-to-day destroying the Party.

Mmmm... I could be proven wrong (gentleman's wager, anyone?) but, it's all just wishful thinking. Weeper Bo[eh]ner isn't being replaced as evidenced by Kentucky's Random Paul working to get Obama's bitch McConnell re-elected and anointed Center-Left HNIC.
Nevertheless, I completely agree with you - Louie sucks. And, I stand by my wishes here.
