We are here to help
A group called United Impact Group, LLC is asking clerks across Michigan for copies of voted ballots and other material from the November 2016 election, using the Freedom of Information Act. Michigan’s news media cannot seem to figure out who they are and are posting ominous articles.
We are here to help.
United Impact Group LLC is a Delaware Corporation. Their Delaware Division of Corporations file number is 6981572. It was incorporated on 19 July 2018.
Costs $ 20 to know more.
We’ll let the idiots in the media spend that $ 20. The price of an education.
You Betcha! (17)Nuh Uh.(0)
Who is, United Impact Group, LLC?
Easy-peasy.
Just ask John and Debbie Dingell, who they are.

Shitbags on The Left aren't that smart to not leave a trail.
GO TRUMP!
Ooh! Oooooh! Oooooooooh!
Let me take a wild guess as to what the goal is of this (most-likely) Soros Funded front group is?
Really... "Emily"?!?
This clown should've just signed his name on the bottom of each and every request.
Here is the FOIA law--and also the AG opinions. https://www.michigan.gov/documents/ag/FOIA_Pamphlet_380084_7.pdf
The first AG opinion says voted ballots not traceable to voter are FOIAable--but the law says copyrighted (intellectual property) material is not FOIAable. 1. The ballot paper is trademarked. 2. We've known since 1994 that embedded in the ballots are UPC codes, making ballots absolutely traceable back to the voter. A computer accessed exit pole, more acccurate than some guy standing there asking a voter who they voted for. Have you actually ever seen an exit-polester? Anyway, a case case can be made that the ballots are copyrighted material and ballots traced back to the voter are exempt under the MI FOIA law. Oh, and those pesky UPC codes showed up on the printout of every write-in ballot. There now, doesn't that make you feel your vote's safe.
Elections are a plethora of data mining, being all computerized and more easily accessed then election officials would have you believe. Just ask the Russians. All you have to ask is who owns the operating system and what's in the operating system on those wonderful ballot scanners.
Lastly, I believe they really don't want those ballots but are hoping for non-compliance to raise money for the DIMS. FOIA suits can be very lucrative.
In a fundamentally deceitful article, Emily Lawler of MLive describes the organization which hired United Impact Group, LLC as a "voting rights organization". Priorities USA Foundation is the agitprop action arm of Priorities USA, the biggest Democratic Super PAC. Only at the very end of the article does Ms. Lawler mention - obliquely - the connection to the Democratic Party.
Priorities USA was established in 2012, by Zero's staffers, to promote Zero's reelection with dark money and smoothly transitioned to Hillary in 2016. Priorities USA Foundation is a captive subsidiary of Priorities USA. Functionally, they both are indistinguishable from the Democratic Party establishment.
I would like to know why? What is the point this group is trying to prove, albeit two years later when Clerks are not only scrambling to get ready for November's election but their other Clerk duties as well. And no, I'm not surprised at the amount of money that Clerks are estimating it would cost to fulfill the request.
