Rashida Tlaib has become a household name in the world of politics—just not in a way she would like. The boisterous, foul-mouthed member of the far-left “squad” has been one of the most divisive members of congress since her election back in 2018.
Before even taking office, Tlaib exclaimed in front of her supporters and her 8-year-old son, that she was “going to impeach the motherfu**er!” Tlaib, who has also served in the State House has gained a reputation of being a problem seeker, not a problem solver. Since her swearing in, Tlaib has sought the limelight blaming conservatives for the fake beating of actor Jussie Smollet as well as assigning blame on “white supremacy” for the Jersey City shooting which turned out was committed by two black individuals.
Tlaib has angered many who see her as being more loyal to her native Palestine (and very hostile to our greatest ally in the state of Israel) than she is to the residents of Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.
"impeach the M****R F****R" Tlaib clearly ..solemn.
The marathon of speeches during the impeachment debacle yesterday saw scores of Democrats decrying the need to be there.
They all started out with “I wish we we didn’t have to do this” or “this is something we wish we wouldn’t have to do” or “its a sad day.” The Democrats openly lamented the grave responsibility they had to enforce the constitution and checks and balances or some other crap they could insert into a political ad later in 2020.
The broad array of projection, obfuscation and outright lies might well have been designed to bore away watchers even as many of them secretly may suspect they have completely and utterly shit the bed. The house speaker even suggested withholding the resulting partisan vote from the Senate unless they get the rules set in a way that will work for them.
The house speaker even had to shush the Democrats in the house when they began to cheer the resulting vote (with zero Republicans) as she knows the only way to convey the ‘solemnity’ of the occasion is to get the morons in check and STFU. Good luck with that.
Newly elected Michigan Congressman demonstrates high level of class.
Silence will be all we hear from those afflicted with TDS (Trum Derangement Syndrome) on this.
Michigan seriously went to the dogs in November. Those who speak harshly of Trump’s demeanor should probably now just shut up. Unless of course, they are finally willing to engage the ever increasing insanity of the left. From the Daily wire is a reminder of why certain people have no business representing anyone:
On Thursday night, her first night as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, new Michigan Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib spoke to a crowd of supporters and decided to personify the famous statement of Michelle Obama that Democrats go high when the GOP goes low, saying of President Trump, “We’re gonna go in there and we’re gonna impeach the mother***er.”
This speaks well of those who elected her, yes?
“Boring” is not the adjective we should be using to describe the next several years I suspect. “Respectful” may be too much to hope for as well.
From the "no, seriously, we should really, really, really, consider a part-time legislature" files.
Why stop at creating a poet laureate position?
Such important matters to tend to in Lansing. Would-be candidate for house leadership Al Psholka is the ONLY Republican to co-sponsor HB5853. From Capitol Confidential:
“Now there’s a concept worthy of a poem.
*The measure has 12 Democratic cosponsors and one Republican, Rep. Al Pscholka, who also is maneuvering to be the next Speaker of the House. The Democrats are Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Jon Switalski, Henry Yanez, Scott Dianda, Jeff Irwin, Tim Greimel, Tim Kelly, Marcia Hovey-Wright, Adam Zemke, Sam Singh, Andrew J. Kandrevas and David Rutledge.”
Perhaps not. Maybe instead, a limerick?
There once was a Rep name of Psholka A champion of liberal Polka “A Poet” He said, “Would put me ahead” For a leadership post, he’s a Joke-a
As most anyone who has owned a home and might have considered owning another knows; you don’t get to double dip. Only ONE free pass per household. The Lansing State Journal reports:
“Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Detroit, and her husband Fayez claimed a 100 percent personal residence exemption for both the Detroit home they live in and a rental property they own in Dearborn, city assessment records from both municipalities show.”
