Calling Mi GOP, Do you really support gun rights?

Mi GOP Supports gun rights, right? Nah The death of a perception...

Many of you may be aware that I was asked to disarm nearly a year and a half ago at the Michigan GOP State Convention.  Just a few weeks ago (8/23/2014) at the Michigan GOP State Convention in Novi, my dear colleague and good friend Tom Lambert (Vice-President of Michigan Open Carry, Inc) followed in my footsteps of having my rights disregarded or minimized by the GOP.

THE RUMORS OF OUR DEMISE ARE GREATLY EXAGGERATED!

liberty_tree     The Tea Party is dead! Long Live the GOP!

OK. I took a Day off to relax, unwind and Clean my car. Ignored FB and the News.

Forget the Mantra of the last 2 weeks of “Calley the Tea Party Ally”, forget the Rhetoric of “I oppose common core, despite stumping for it statewide, and pledging to be the tie breaking vote, Forget the sudden Anti Common Core conversion. Forget the PTL Support tactic of trying to inform the Tea Party, while keeping the General Press in the dark. Calley’s win is now a supposedly True blue endorsement of the establishment Policy pograms.

The reports are that the Tea Party lost at the Convention. Pure Bobby Schostak.

It cost Snyder/Calley a rumored $2.3 MILLION dollars to Identify and PURGE Conservative delegates from the Floor. Yet Wes still managed to get 1/3rd of the vote. Despite all the ID programs, Polls, robocalls, and County convention shenanigans. Rick Snyder Photo shoot during Wes’s Nomination, trying to block Floor access to the stage for his supporters, He still pulled 35%.

Lawlz

Pissant’s unhinged rant of the day.

These extremists are what Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson rightly calls the “Taliban wing” of the GOP.

Ah yes, old Babbling Brooksie is a helluva example.
warning_worlds_oldest_virgin

While the extremists attempt to portray themselves as principled conservatives fighting against what they claim to be Republicans-in-name-only (aka RINOs), the truth is they are the pretenders.

That isn’t to say everyone in the tea party is a conservative pretender.

Far from it, actually.

Unfortunately, the mothers, fathers, grandfathers and grandmothers who filled parks and courthouse lawns four years ago were preyed upon by all sorts of hucksters and grifters, who declared themselves to be the tea party leaders.

They then aligned with extremists, themselves the descendants of the John Birch Society who were rightfully expelled from the conservative movement by Ronald Reagan, William F. Buckley Jr. and Michigan’s own Russell Kirk when these three served as the political and intellectual leaders of conservatism.

That’s why political leaders and activists who were the tea party long before the tea party existed — Macomb County’s Leon Drolet comes to mind — [snip]

Bingo! Where it always leads to if one allows a platform to a moronic Millennial.

Ps. Mush-mouth Buckley’s son turned out to be a pile of dung, too.

RightMi.com Voting Recommendations Part 1

Suggestions for Michigan's congressional seats, Governor & Lt Governor, AG, SOS, and Prop 14-1

For the August 5th 2014 Republican Primary

First Congressional District – Dan Benishek vs. Alan Arcand

Rightmi.com recommendation is for Alan Arcand.

We have described in other articles here of the current incumbent’s inability to understand the power of congress. Elected as a ‘Tea Party’ candidate Dan Benishek failed on all levels of political activity, and fell in line with the worst of establishment Republicans earning the next to lowest conservative rating from the Heritage foundation of all Michigan’s Republicans, only second to noted RINO Fred Upton.

Arcand-CarBenishek’s service to the VA should have given him an especially good look at the inner workings of the VA, and as oversight for the last few years, it seems he is at least as culpable as the administration that Republicans are targeting on this issue. This neglect of our veterans would bite him in November when facing retired two star general Jerry Cannon who will capitalize on it. Democrats are COUNTING on Benishek being the GOP candidate.

Arcand on the other hand offers a fresh chance for Republicans to get it right. As a disabled vet, he takes the opposition tactic off the table. He understands Congress’ role as defined by the constitution, would not be afraid to withhold money from an out of control administration that has already threatened Upper Peninsula residents on the electrical grid alone.

Second Congressional District – Bill Huizenga vs. No Candidate

RightMi.com has no recommendation.

The Tea Party, Dave Agema, and their Radical Agenda!

The Tea Party, Dave Agema, and their Radical Agenda!

DAVE AGEMA PERSONA NON GRATA IN MIGOP???

2008 was a dismal year for the MIGOP. Election wins were far and few between. Another 2 years of Granholm and Democrat rule were what we had to look forward to. Many remember the GOP offices manned (if at all) by skeleton crews, with very few volunteers showing up.

Then came 2010 and the rise of the Tea Party. Offices were Packed with excited volunteers. (I can remember tables of volunteers being asked to use their own cell phone for calls, as all the other phones were in use.) A constant flow of people streamed in for Literature and signs to distribute. Tea parties sponsored rallies, forums, and debates, statewide, inviting all the republican candidates to attend. Some of these events attracted tens of thousands of people.

Media attention was at an all time high. The result was a Grand slam in MI, SUPER majorities in both houses, and a new republican Governor Rick Snyder. The pattern was repeated nationwide.

Not on The Editorial Pages Either

And in other news…

Nolan appears to be suffering from a “heavy flow” day. Whatza matter Nolan? Not enough “pragmatic” losers for you to champion, anymore?

And, some Boomer generation Femocrat with the Progressive two last names thing going on attempts to whitewash The Religion of Peace™ and a whole lot of dead bodies. American Sharia? Really? Good luck with that.
