The video is full of lies...the Secretary of State will not pick commission members. Please read the proposal.

The ballot language speaks for itself.

      This proposed constitutional amendment would:
      • Create a commission of 13 registered voters randomly selected by the Secretary of State:
o 4 each who self - identify as affiliated with the 2 major political parties; and
o 5 who self-identify as unaffiliated with major political parties

As for the trust in the random part?? Laughable. Not to mention the probability there will be 'staff' selected by the SOS to assist in the process.

This is as big a cluster fox-trot as the progressive power brokers have ever unleashed on the voters in Michigan

The secretary of state has a detailed process to follow. Just as the secretary today has a detailed process to follow when handing out driver licenses. The secretary cannot arbitrarily decide who to give a license to, at least not legally. And the secretary will have a lottery process -- you know, the same kind we use weekly to hand out state lottery dollars -- to follow. Or maybe you think the lottery is rigged.

Of course, some people like it when politicians pick their own voters, in secret, to help their friends and their party -- and not even hold a public hearing where the public can comment on the maps. Go ahead...defend secrecy and conflict of interest. But don't lie about Proposal 2.

The rigging of the system would already be done. At least NOW, there is accountability, and no blank check to defend even more freaked out districts.

Sell your propaganda on the $500 a minute mediums to the low information voters.

I thought conservatives supported open and public government decisions, not secrecy. I thought conservatives believed in the people, not the swamp of lobbyists, consultants and politicians. I guess things have changed. Maybe I’m the low information guy. On the other hand, in Colorado conservatives are supporting the Fair Maps proposal that is just like Proposal 2. Perhaps Michigan conservatives have lost their bearings and trust the swamp more than regular citizens.

              Are you on crack?

You think pulling unknown rabbits out of the hat to choose districting all by themselves is what will happen?

I have no problem with redistricting reform, but this particular effort is straight up deception. I realize you are probably paid for your part in it like other family members. But you guys are a part of the problem to begin with.

As I said take it where the gullible hang out.

They're profiting on being part of the problem.
