So, what’s up with posting the picture of a tatted wench?
Well, a fringe cult of 20-25 has oozed from the Cesspool of Detoilet, to make their *statement* on our Capitol lawn.
The secularist group that’s putting up a “snaketivity” scene each day on the Capitol lawn says it’s trying to promote dialogue about beliefs and equality, not ruin Christmas.
….Jex Blackmore, spokeswoman for the organization, said the Satanic Temple put up its display “to have a dialogue” with the public, since another group was being granted permission to display the traditional Christmas scene of Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus.
“We think that is an example of a privilege that is granted on public property for a single or popular belief,” Blackmore said.
“Government shouldn’t be promoting a single religious view.”
Nonsense. This is all about ruining Christmas, and mocking one’s faith. What is her cult calling itself a secular *religion* all about? Murdering babies and sodomite *marriage* – The end.
Oh, and by the way, wasn’t it nice of, Gary Heinlein to paint a misleading narrative of this as if this was instigated by Sen. Jones?
The Detroit chapter of the Satanic Temple installed its display Sunday morning, two days after Sen. Rick Jones, R-Grand Ledge, and others put up their Nativity figurines.
What garbage that passes for journalism at The News these days. The cult the tatted wench represents would’ve been the only display on our Capitol lawn had not Sen. Jones, responded to her dysfunctional agenda. The fact that Jex and her cult chose to drag their heels with setting up their “Snaketivity” for added pedantic drama matters none.
Do I believe Jex, and her 20-25 misfits from Detoilet have the freedom to be petulant asses? Absolutely. They’re good at their dysfunction.
Would I like to see Jex, and her 20-25 misfits perform their Ghey “marriages” in front of mosques? You betchya. Heck, I’d like to see it be a pay-per-view event so we can watch “the dialogue” unfold from the comfort of our chesterfields.
Anywho, to Sen. Jones, who strayed from the Good path here (no, I never forget), however, you are owed a great big Thank You for all you have done on this matter.
Merry Christmas, to you and yours, Sen. Jones.
God bless.
THIS is what passes for a "Satanist" nowadays?
Let 'em have their 15 minutes of fame.
In not even a year's time, their novelty will wear off and people won't even give them a second glance, much less waste ink and bandwidth promoting their cause.
Just watch.
Well, I do suppose that is one way of viewing the outcome of things, however, as my friend Edmund says, "Here... pull this finger."
To me, it says more about the rest of us (than them) when "Sen. Jones"... http://www.mlive.com/politics/index.ssf/2012/01/sen_rick_jones_compares_female.html
...is beating us all to the punch in terms of the birth of our savior or what is right/wrong in Lansing.
Then again, we all abandoned these same Capitol grounds almost 2 years ago to this day when we were physically chased off them during Right To Work with nary a 'peep' afterwards (SandyHook/'Christmas' and all).
Perhaps these Satanists viewed a willingness to surrender the Capital and 'our' children's right to assemble/speak (without a fight) simply as 'their' cue to fill the vacuum.
