The Joint Committee on Taxation estimated replacing the $600 direct payments approved in the latest coronavirus relief package with $2,000 checks would cost roughly $463.8 billion.

Believe me, the $600 was viewed as a slap in the American public face by the District of Corruption Swamp when hundreds of billions of our dollars were being shipped to foreign nations for everything unrelated to the rona.
