Uh oh, someone was watching!

If this isn’t a huge red flag on why democrats, ESPECIALLY Gov. Witless, needs to be watched like a hawk (because the Republican Caucuses in the Michigan House & Senate certainly aren’t up to the task), I don’t know what is.

And what is it that our glorious and revered empress is up to this week?

And this is any better…why?

People thought that the Republicans might have had an epiphany last week while Michiganians were circling the Capitol Building in Lansing for a better part last Wednesday. Having 10,000 cars blocking traffic all around you and blaring their horns for most of the day does tend to draw attention, but I digress.

During a Friday News Dump, SML Mike Shirkey announced that not only was the legislature disinclined to extend Gov. Witless’ tyranny past May 1st, but that they had a plan, based upon a framework released by the White House on how this will be accomplished.

Outstanding! Now we can get Michigan back to work so that we can start fixing the colossal disaster her incredibly ridiculous “orders” have wrought upon our state.

But did anyone bother reading the fine print?

I’ve heard this line before.

Conservative Creativity @ Operation Gridlock

After going through about 2.1Gb of video & images (and dealing with some work and home issues over the weekend), I finally whittled things down a little to give anyone who wasn’t able to go to Lansing on Wednesday another perspective on how things went.

Ladies and gentlemen: the story you are about to see is true. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

That out of the way…

Operation Gridlock update

For those of you attending the Operation Gridlock Rally in Lansing today organized by the MICHIGAN CONSERVATIVE COALITION, I just wanted to pass along two items this morning.

The MCC has released a series of guidelines for today’s event (see below).

If you are leaving from Macomb County/Wayne County, Autoworkers for Trump have scheduled to meet up at the corner of 17 Mile Road and Van Dyke at 9:00am. From there, they will head out to Livonia (Stark Road between I-96 and Plymouth Road…look for the Trump signs) to link up with other participants there before heading up to Lansing.

Attendees are strongly encourages to share their experiences/video on social media from today’s rally.

The local media is still displaying a condescending attitude towards anyone who dares question the sage wisdom of Gov. Witless as she orders Michigan into ruin, even when they themselves aren’t sure on what to do.

That been said, they have promised to cover the event.

Please follow the guidelines, so that the media munches on shoe leather as they try to spin this into something that it is not.

Stay safe, everyone.

I wonder if this can be made into a class action lawsuit?

The Detroit News has reported this afternoon that Gov. Witless is facing a fourth lawsuit filed against her for questionably written and dubiously “enforced” executive orders.

The lawsuit, filed in the US Eastern District Court of Michigan by Attorney David Helm this afternoon on behalf of four Michiganians, contends the Executive Orders are “arbitrary, capricious, irrational and abusive.” and a violation of the First and Fifth Amendments.

This is on top of a lawsuit filed earlier by Attorney Philip L. Ellison in the Michigan Court of Claims yesterday for Gov. Witless’ E.O.2020-38 which delays FOIA responses.

Another lawsuit was filed earlier by Attorney Robert Muise from the American Freedom Law Center on behalf of Andrew Belanger, who was protesting at an abortion clinic in Detroit. That case was subsequently dismissed with prejudice on Tuesday and the City of Detroit agreed to drop the citation.

Finally, there also is the case of Esshaki v. Whitmer et al (20-10831) pertaining to the case of Eric Esshaki who cannot collect the required number of signatures to run against certifiable nut-job Haley Stevens. That case was scheduled to be heard this afternoon at 1:30. There is nothing new to report as of the time of this post.

Four lawsuit in about a week…what are the odds?

I cannot help but wonder if Mr. Helm is looking for others to sign onto his lawsuit?

Stay tuned…

Wasn’t that YOUR job???

Senate Majority Leader Shirkey is taking to the interwebs, and here on social media, this week in order to engender support to re-open Michigan for business.

Say, didn’t they hold a session in the Michigan Senate just last Tuesday to take action on this very topic?

Can anyone tell me how that went?

Now he wants us to call Gov. Witless’ office to complain?

Did your smoke-filled backroom deal with her people not go according to plan Sen. Shirkey?

Me??? Showing actual leadership.

April 30 ***Corrected***

Word from my sources tell me that the Michigan Senate had granted Gov. Witless’ extension to her “Emergency Powers” about two hours ago.

This has been sent over to the Michigan House where it is expected to be approved later this afternoon and then signed by the guv.

On the plus side: The extension only lasts until April 30th, when it will be “reevaluated”.

The down side: there was nothing extracted from the guv to put a muzzle on her wanton actions until that date.

Mandatory statewide lock-down? Nothing to address it.

Increased penalties for those found “ignoring” the guv’s commands? Nothing to address that one, either.

Anything else the guv’s staff can conceive to further erode our Constitutional Rights?

Ahahahahahahahahahaha!

Twenty-three days, my friends.

Stay tuned.

*** Going by what was sent to me earlier from my source in Lansing (the Senate’s session was unusually brief), what was passed this morning and then later in the House was SCR 24 (information now posted here).

It will not require the signature of the governor before going into effect (See MCL 30.404 Section 3 (4)).***
