ICYMI - This gal right here is spot on in her Michigan protest analysis.
I somehow missed the News’ use of a particular word in describing the protesters at one of the Lansing events.
Enjoy the clip here.

The side effects of having an unrepentant lawbreaker as a governor.
Something occurred to me this morning.
One of the ways in which government has been able to operate at a board level is by Zoom, of some other streaming service. The problem with this however, was the ways in which the streaming option limited the ability of those who wish to attend meetings and keep government open and transparent.
The answer was Executive Order 2020-15. EO 2020-15 changed the requirements of having the meetings, to allowing by remote access with limited public interaction:
Acting under the Michigan Constitution of 1963 and Michigan law, I order the following:
Effective immediately and continuing until April 15, 2020 at 11:59 pm, to the extent that the Open Meetings Act, 1976 PA 267, as amended, MCL 15.261 to 15.272 (“OMA”) requires that a meeting of a public body be held in a physical place available to the general public or requires the physical presence of one or more members of a public body, strict compliance with section 3 of the OMA, MCL 15.263, is temporarily suspended in order to alleviate any such physical-place or physical-presence requirements, as follows:
Etc., and so on.. (feel free to follow through and see the conditions)
The order allows forms of electronic meetings that would not otherwise be allowed under legislative authority without the power assumed by the governor. It essentially kept local governments ability to operate under ‘stay home’ conditions that might arise.
Statewide Stay at Home Order is the Wrong Treatment for Michigan
The following arrived from the RNC Committeeman form Michigan Dr Rob Steele, a cardiologist, (and presumed expert.)
Note: Data from April 26 and 27
In my home state of Michigan, and around the country political battles and protests have proliferated regarding shelter in place and distancing orders. When it comes to medicine,” following the science” means following the data. Following is relevant data in Michigan and elsewhere.
Patients requiring hospitalization, ICU bed and ventilator availability have trended significantly in the right direction as have the number of positive tests. With increased testing in mildly or asymptomatic cases the newly diagnosed patients will be less sick and require fewer hospital resources and should not significantly inform the shelter in place order if numbers rise with increased testing.
Michiganians must call Whitmer’s bluff.
The 1945 PA 302 does not grant unilateral power grab authority. PA 390 Provided a check on her (or any governor’s) ability to extend such authority and subordinates PA302 with the addition of extension rules.
No one should adhere to her tyrannical decrees beginning May 1, unless Michigan’s legislature makes the mistake of extending her Emergency Declaration. Be strong and hold the line Michigan.
God Bless.
For too many decades, health care in Michigan might well have been better and cost far less!
Michigan has been CONned for far too long.
The Certificate Of Need rules in Michigan have resulted in less competition, higher health care costs, and reduced flexibility when emergency situations arise. Limiting the choice of consumers to bloated bureaucratic health care systems that have no incentive to keep costs down or protect their employees naturally.
Sorry for mistaken nation versus state numbers. Watch the video, you’ll know what I mean.
BY the way ..don’t wonder why there are layoffs.
God Bless
Something that needed to happen ..did.
Lansing was alive today.
The streets were full, and patriots from around the state locked up the town where such tyranny emanates.
God Bless You All!
Four Northern Michigan Sheriffs call on using "common sense" in letter.
I’ll just drop this here.

PRESS RELEASE
April 15, 2020
For Immediate Release
Sheriffs of the 101st House District Speak OutAs Sheriffs of Michigan’s 101st House district, comprised of Leelanau, Benzie, Manistee, and Mason Counties, we write today to inform the public of our respective counties of our opposition to some of Governor Whitmer’s executive orders. While we understand her desire to protect the public, we question some restrictions that she has imposed as overstepping her executive authority. She has created a vague framework of emergency laws that only confuse Michigan citizens.
As a result, we will not have strict enforcement of these orders. We will deal with every case as an individual situation and apply common sense in assessing the apparent violation.
Each of us took an oath to uphold and defend the Michigan Constitution, as well as the US Constitution, and to ensure that your God given rights are not violated. We believe that we are the last line of defense in protecting your civil liberties.
Our focus needs to be on reopening our counties and getting people back to work. We also need to be aware that this virus is deadly and that we need to continue to practice social distancing, washing of hands, wearing of masks as well as other medically recommended measures. Allowing those without paychecks back to work is imperative to the economic success and wellbeing of our community. We can do this in stages, especially those that work outside.
Together, as a community, we will overcome this pandemic, and as Americans, we will persevere and come out even stronger than before. As Sheriffs of your community we want you to know we have your back and will continue to serve the people who have entrusted us with your protection.
Leelanau County Sheriff Mike Borkovich
Benzie County Sheriff Ted Schendel
Manistee County Sheriff Ken Falk
Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole
Clearly we know who we can trust.
I have known at least two of these serious constitutional officers, and have known of (and respected) the other two for some time. They mean it, and have our backs.
I was not surprised that my county sheriff was not a part of this list, but saddened just the same.
God bless them all.
Our state's Karen did it wrong.
Gretchen Whitmer has clearly been waiting for the opportunity to flex her Grrrl power.
Kurt Schlichter appropriately addresses the rise of these ‘Karens‘ recently. His today piece hits a home run as usual (the guy bats about .880, and all of them bring in runs) He writes:
“These mewling Mussolinis need to be slapped back, verbally if not physically, but as long as we are under this lockdown, they will not stop. They live for this, the chance to dictate to and control us, and the problem is some of them have positions of power.
..
This is not to say that the Chinese coronavirus pandemic is fake or unserious, nor that we should ignore it and pretend that it’s just another flu. It is to say that there is more going on now than a respiratory ailment. There’s an economic ailment that most of us are painfully aware of, and there is a freedom ailment, where the Karens in everyday life and in the corridors or power are taking advantage of this crisis to let their fascist flag fly.
When you have some petty official commanding Christians not to gather together in worship, that’s a line that they don’t get to cross. ..”
That line they don’t get to cross..
Truly you must read the rest, then read whatever the hell he writes every day he writes it from here on out.
Mark 16:5-7
“As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples…’”
