Yep! We’re Done

Our ‘retaining water’ menopausal ‘helicopter mom’ governor Karen LARPing Walking Dead in our state, that never held a private sector job in her life – Gretchen Whitmer – unconstitutionally holding folks hostage via her jackboot Michigan State Police and Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officers, will if she can think, be ordered by her, this come to an end – peacefully – starting May 1.

My fingers are crossed.

“There has been a lot of confusion during the last few weeks pertaining to golf,” Burkardt wrote to members, in an email obtained by The News. “With these conflicting statements we are focusing on the fact that we are a private club that can allow play without opening any part of our golf operation including the locker room, golf shop or cart operation.

“With the availability of online tee times along with a membership that can adhere to specific rules, we could assure adherence with social distancing rules.”

In other words, governor, FuuuUUUuuck You! You too lezbo hebe AG.

We Michiganians have had enough of the Democratic Party bullshit.

Gov. “Half” Whitmer, you and Sleepy Joe along with now named John Kerry, on top of the indictments soon coming down, you people lost November 2020.

Kung flu scare was a bust- Game over.

Are there any state legislators who will stand up to her? They could offer to extend some of her emergency powers beyond April 30 if she immediately allows some businesses to open, such as construction, landscaping, lawn mowing, and window washing. Perhaps hair salons could reopen at half capacity and employees would have to wear masks. Otherwise, it all expires on April 30 and we get back to business.

And note that when her edicts expire everything won’t immediately return to normal. It will be some time before we have crowded restaurants, movie theaters, schools, sporting events, or concerts.

      Hold up there, Phil.

"They could offer to extend some of her emergency powers beyond April 30 if she immediately allows [Full Stop]"

You actually trust this agenda driven schoolmarm with control issues? C'mon, you're smarter than that. Well, hopefully smarter than the House and Senate leadership that gifted her the powers that have fooked us all. No deals.

Perhaps, you need to read through the comments, well, excluding the gay grandpa from Kalamazoo who plays with sundials, but the rest of the pissed off Michiganians.

Our state legislators would be wise to unite against Gov. "Half" Whitmer, if they seek to have a future in politics.

The goal is to get the economy working ASAP, before it’s too late. Simply waiting two more weeks may be catastrophic. If the legislature had any guts they’d make my offer to get parts opened up immediately, and then only allow specific restrictions past April 30 via legislative action. The politicians who know nothing about real life think that they can restart the economy with the stroke of a pen, but in reality it’s going to take a long time for things to really get moving again. We’re in a race against the clock, before things really start to seize up and we get real shortages.

And I know that she’s unlikely to give up her new dictatorial powers willingly. But there’s value in making her the offer. If she takes it then she’s conceded that this needs to be done legislatively and we can get some parts working immediately, and it she refuses then it serves to expose her totalitarianism and embolden the opposition. Trump does this often but subtly, by making the offers that he knows that they’ll probably refuse, like when he offered them a deal in DACA if they’d fund the wall.

Wrong-o, Phil. And, what's up with the concern trolling?

"Simply waiting two more weeks may be catastrophic."

Michiganians have the muster to survive 11 more days, well, unless you believe we're all just a bunch of pussies. Geez, surviving two terms of Granholm should be enough evidence of our resilience even with Gretchen "Half" Whitmer going, "hold my beer.".

          But I digress.

Bottom line: What our Greatest President Ever giveth, He can also take away- if our drunkard schoolmarm chooses to cause anymore harm than she has already inflicted on us.

No deals. Our state legislators have proven incompetent enough on the matter. May 1, pinko-commie worker's day is not far away.

          Nut up.

You must be supremely confident that the legislature will hold the line on May 1. I’m not. I want to see some signs of life now. Otherwise we’re likely to see another capitulation in April 39, just like on April 7.

Always such a Negative Nancy? At least for the next 11 days try to nut up. We the People have had enough of this Democratic Party manufactured bullshit and, it matters little worrying about what the hell our effete legislators do- they boxed themselves in when they cut a very stupid deal with a known Governatrix snake.

Matter of fact, have you noticed even LEO are beginning to shit their pants over "Half" Whitmer's political stunt? Just following orders is always a bad plan, especially, when outnumbered and overpowered (Thank you, Trumpbux!) by a pissed off, financially compromised, and illegally placed under home-arrest Michiganian public.

Get some air, Phil. Have a Snickers. Come back when you're feeling better.

Sure. No rush. It’ll all work out. Or maybe 80% of restaurants may not reopen. What’s another 11 days? Sure thing, Francis.

It doesn’t hurt to make the offer, and if she refuses then it clarifies the situation.

And of course she can’t be trusted. She’s a politician. It’s always been the case.

“I do not believe that the solution to our problem is simply to elect the right people. The important thing is to establish a political climate of opinion which will make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing. Unless it is politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing, the right people will not do the right thing either, or it they try, they will shortly be out of office.” - Milton Friedman

Someone asked the question on Twitter, "why is India not doing as poorly??"

I had an answer for them right away. 'Malaria'

I sure hope you’re right, that the state republicans suddenly grew a spine and will stand up to Gov Half-wit, but their spineless performance on April 7 doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.
