There is a lot of chatter still going on regarding the convention results, campaign polling, and Frank Foster peddling destructive behavior as a ‘civil right’ throughout the house to those who will cosponsor it.
Before our convention in Grand Traverse County, some of us were advised to video tape the proceedings to prevent shenanigans. Fortunately, we nipped the chair election in the bud, and any screw ups were honest and dealt with properly. (I have never seen a convention go perfectly as planned.) Ottawa County apparently had some issues.

And while we all are arguing among ourselves, the heir to the heavily taxpayer subsidized fortune is ‘crankin.’

Peters is being accused of hypocrisy for paying women less and being a part of the group that has jammed the Lilly Ledbetter nonsense down our throats. Forget about all that (seriously Terri, fergetaboudit) and concentrate on the workable populist nonsense. Like the “right To Have Drinking Water!”

Snyder is just solidifying his base. He's got his buddies in the NOT Taxed Enough Already Party all sewn up. He's bought off his base in Detroit with our money as best he can; they're a fickle bunch. Now he's off to the peace, love and harmony muslim convention in Detroit with his comrade Jimmy Carter.
The People's Detroit News reports on the convention and Carter's attendance in today's online edition, but so far no mention of the undocumented democrat being there.

Just an FYI--The author of the "West Michigan Politics" Blog is a convicted criminal that was forced to resign from the Grand Haven School Board after being caught stealing money from a Cancer Society fundraiser. He also served time in jail for failing a court-ordered drug test. Not wanting to stop there, he is currently facing 10 charges of Election Fraud filed by the Attorney General for allegedly forging signatures on nominating petitions. He has a vendetta against nearly everyone in our county and shouldn't be used as a source of reliable information.
