Gov. Snyder on raising taxes: "It's ok to ask for more revenue."

The fine folks over at MCC may as well get this plan out of their heads because this state has a load of English as a second language deadbeats waiting in the wings when .FEDGOV tightens its pursestrings.
Immigrants and their U.S.-born children make up more than 40 percent of new Medicaid recipients at a cost of $4.6 billion, according to an analysis of government data.
The Center for Immigration Studies, a low-immigration advocacy group, released a report early Thursday that found both legal and illegal
immigrants[aliens] and their minor children made up 42 percent of Medicaid growth from 2011 to last year.
Part of the increased enrollment came as a result of the new healthcare law’s expansion of Medicaid to impoverished and low-income adults.
“The high rate and significant growth in Medicaid associated with immigrants is mainly the result of a legal immigration system that admits large numbers of immigrants with relatively low-levels of education, many of whom end up poor and uninsured,” the report says. “This fact, coupled with the extensive supports we provide to low-income residents, unavoidably creates very significant costs for taxpayers.”
As an aside regarding Obamacare, newly elected SML Arlan Meekhof is proving his weight in Nerd gold as to what a useless ass he’ll be for Conservatives.
Frankly, I just can’t begin to wrap my mind around the concept of Michigan’s delegation fighting anything in D.C. when they willfully turn a blind eye to sonofabitches in their own Party in Lansing, who work to implement Obama’s agenda.
First lady Michelle Obama will campaign for Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Gary Peters and gubernatorial nominee Mark Schauer at the Detroit Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts on Friday.
Why not? Rick Snyder has been campaigning for Debbie Dingell, so, good luck with that.

Another of cupcake’s bald-faced lies? “Cut the income tax rate.”
We have a candidate for governor, which now proudly campaigns on Obamacare.
“One of the things I’m most proud of is Healthy Michigan. How’ve we done? We have 405,000 people signed up.” -Rick Snyder #Road2Recovery

And, who is left to pick up the tab for that when Snyder/Calley is gone? Let, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), explain that for you. Did you notice a Republican said the states are going to pay for it? Why Hell, even a plumber knows that sh!t runs downhill.
Enjoy paying for that along with the Snyder/Calley fuel tax and registration fee hike.
As if raiding pensions (wasn’t necessary), raising the State Income Tax, and growing a budget now spending $1 Billion per week were not enough, Snyder broadcasts the real MI-GOP wallet gouging and family budget busting.
The Republican governor, who faces a tough re-election against Democrat Mark Schauer, has struggled to get the GOP-controlled Legislature to adopt a plan to raise at least $1.2 billion in additional annual revenue for road funding through increases in the fuel tax and vehicle registration fees.
“I still consider that a priority I want to get done in the first term,” Snyder said at the West Michigan Policy Forum’s conference at the Amway Grand Hotel.
In June, the Senate adjourned for the summer after rejecting a gas tax hike and higher fees for heavy trucks that Snyder supported. Schauer has criticized the governor’s leadership on the issue, but said he’s opposed to increasing the 19 cents-per-gallon gas tax.
At least Schauer has sense enough not to tread into that particular Nerd swamp, especially, when MDOT’s multi-million dollar operation is dabbling in Wisconsin’s unwanted choo-choos, and tax dollars wasted on Hollywood productions at every turn. For that matter, let’s table for discussion the Nerd’s “Showcase Trail” at the cost of $1 Million per mile. Yes, our fuel taxes go to Complete Streets bicycle nonsense.
So, what does Mr. “Never publicly opposed the governor” have to say about this wholesale price tax hike?
Its the easily missed truisms on display in any article of note, that are Oh-So important.
The Detroit News: “Michigan GOP braces for Tea Party Showdown”
” Calley, who declined to be interviewed for this story, has never publicly opposed the governor on major policy decisions, but routinely says he is “the conservative voice” inside the Snyder administration. “
Consider this single paragraph for a moment.
The governor has Raised taxes on some, went behind the legislature’s back on the NITC, pushed hard for Obamacare in Michigan, pushes Common Core, hired several Democrats to key positions, bails out Detroit, pushes rail subsidies, and will likely sign on the dotted line when the Elliot Larsen Civil Rights act is presented for modification. Modified so that dangerous behavior is blessed not only with the ongoing media push, but with the unforgiving and ‘intolerant’ hammer of law on those who disagree with that behavior.
All of which begs the question: “When does your conservative voice matter Mr Calley?”
