Desperation From Pelosi PAC / Lon Johnson Campaign

House Majority PAC shameful in its advertising.

Apparently misrepresenting a 40 year veteran and 3 star general in front of the communist Chinese flag to score cheap political points is not beneath the Democrats who think that Michigan’s first congressional district is up for grabs. Nancy Pelosi’s ‘house majority’ PAC leaves no dirty trick behind as it denigrates the integrity and character of a patriot and American hero in order to advance its own political operative in a place and district which he doesn’t belong.

Michigan’s first district veterans say “NO WAY Nancy!”

In a letter to the 1st Congressional District, a number of those veterans think the coordinated effort on behalf of the Democrat carpetbagger Lon Johnson simply went too far. They write:

We know the guy doesn’t live up here.  That’s the easy part.

The drooling fool forgot to review the video below the fold.  If he had, he might have seen ol Festus ridin up there on the bonanza.

A snot nosed kid with no substantive accomplishments in his life except to be married to the biggest fundraiser for Barack Obama.  And he wants to represent a district that he has only visited three or four times in his life; two of which were to run against the ‘hillbilly’ locals.

No seriously.. a ‘snot nosed kid.’

Carpetbagging Confidence

Once again, Democrat aristocracy tries to buy a Northern Michigan political seat.

It is clear that the first lady gent of Obama-for-America fundraiser Julianna Smoot is sure of his impending primary success.

The race between Lon Johnson-Smoot, and (a guy who actually lives in the district) Jerry Cannon might have been a bit more balanced, but for a December car accident that temporarily put into question the retired General’s ability to campaign.  Any recent uptick in Cannon’s perceived chances are apparently not preventing Lon Johnson-Obama-Smoot from tying up the airwaves just before the general election in late October.

The guy who has a cabin-in-the-woods-for-residency has purchased several thousand in TV ads in Marquette already as reported to the FCC.  Cash money already spent

Dems Freaked Out Over Peters

If Democrats Were Happy With Gary Peters To Replace Carl Levin, Then ...

Sometimes you have to read between the lines.

Probably little known to team Gary Peters, is that Lon Johnson was looking for a trade.  The Michigan Democrat Party seems to need a new power forward:

“.. “That was an amazing point in my career,” Battier said. “I was really nervous I was gonna be the reason we weren’t going to win a championship. I took it upon myself to say, ‘If we lose, it’s not going to be because I didn’t fight my ass off.’ I had to guard West, and he beat the hell out of me like he always does. But we somehow reinvented ourselves, and that was the birth of small ball.”

Battier is nearing retirement now, and he can no longer shoot, dribble, or defend like he once did. The Michigan Democratic Party recently called him to see if he might consider running to replace U.S. Senator Carl Levin, Battier said. He declined, but he’s closer to retirement than he is to the player who helped Miami unlock its identity. ..”
