Extremist Democrat Candidate For Governor Agrees With Abolishing ICE

Whitmer's leftist extremism on display in Lansing

They’re going to have to own this nonsense.

Tomorrow she might say something very different to salvage any middle of the road Dems, but folks have been wising up to the extremist views held by Democrat candidates. Gretchen Whitmer bobble-heads her agreement to abolishing our immigration enforcement in this video.

“I think we need a governor, who will stand up to the federal government” she says.  As governor, she COULD make enforcement of our borders problematic.

Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero sanctuary city clown show ensues.

A video with Virg is a great place to catch a giggle when going into the weekend.

Bernero defends his ‘executive order’ to turn Lansing into a sanctuary city as something to clarify what he described as “Modus Operandi.” He explained “It was what we were doing, but we didn’t have a written policy.”

Interestingly, further into his discussion with Carlson, he says “I wasn’t looking for this fight Tucker, This fight found me.  I tried to avoid this fight.”

I am not sure how that works.  Certainly there are mayors and community leaders around the country who have opted to not rattle the tree, but quietly oppose tighter immigration enforcement,  But those folks are not opting for the news cycle in the process.  In fact many might be trying to figure out how to hide the mounting problems they have due to the undocumented invasion we are facing.

Virg is off-the-hook pro-antagonist to be sure.  And I gotta tell ya, when Virgil goes off on how the police are seen as an “occupying force” ??  Whooeeee!

And so it begins…

Not letting something called local opposition (or Heaven forbid…national sovereignty) get in the way of them assuaging their troubled conscience, Gov Rick Snyder announced that around 100 illegal aliens are already in Michigan.

According to the Cadillac News, at least 100 of these illegals, a breakdown from where they are coming from has not been provided, will be here on a “temporary basis”.

No word on exactly how long “temporary”  might be.

While speaking to a business round table this morning in Washington, Gov. Snyder said,

“It’s really terrible the whole situation with the undocumented children and that’s really generated the crisis that you’re currently talking about.”

Umm, yeah Gov. Snyder.

It’s really sad that the current administration has done NOTHING to stem the current invasion into our county. In fact, Pres. B.O. has gone out of his way to promote this invasion.

It also really sad that there are no plans in place to address the outbreak of communicable diseases and other health issues that these “poor undocumented” are bringing with them into this country and now very potentially Michigan.

I sure hope that you’re accounted for the additional costs to the State Budget when this jumps into Michigan’s population Gov Snyder?

According to The Detroit Free Press, the first wave of illegals are in Farmington Hills and will be taken care of by Wellspring Lutheran Services.

In further displaying his poor grasp on how government operates, Gov Snyder added;

“With respect to the impact on Michigan, it’s not going to be costing the state of Michigan. The federal government is paying for all that.”

Call me an ill-informed bumpkin who spends most of my time behind the wheel of a large truck.

I haven’t sat in on a civics class for decades, so I’m a little fuzzy? Exactly where does Washington get their money from again, Gov Snyder?

More Plans To Place Illegal Children In Michigan

My wife and I spent a great deal of time on classes and learning how to be foster parents in the Grand Traverse Region.

Our goal was to be able to provide a short term safe shelter for children who are in need of emergency placement and to get away from dangerous situations. The temporary aspect of it did not bother us, and we ‘graduated’ the lengthy course and went into standby mode. When one situation arose where a child was in grave danger, Bethany services reached out, but our contact was overruled by the child’s counselor, and the child was left to fend for self.

Why? Because we are too political in our home.

Take it in whatever way you want. We offered assistance, and the young person in question is still to this day (as far as we know) in danger.  In the mean time, note that it is Bethany, who is plotting with the government to assist in hiding the illegal and indigent children who are invading our country.

All attendees received several handouts. One was titled, “Become a Refugee Foster Parent.”  A few minutes into the program, I began taking video and learned the truth. Bethany Christian Services presented information regarding their social programs regarding bringing “undocumented minors” to west Michigan.

I’ve indicated before that try to catch up on current events as much as I can when working.

It’s not easy, but I manage as best as I can.

I get a good chunk of it from e-mail blasts from people whom I trust. Much of it is on material that the MSM wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot poll.

The latest has to do with the continuing invasion of illegal aliens along our border and the (sort of) correct response that has been lacking as of late.

Why would a pro-life party embrace a culture of death?

The normal course of action for a pandemic is to mobilize medical resources in order to learn, as quickly as possible, as much as can be learned about the disease, specifically including source of infection and method of transmission. Until this information is learned, the victims are sometimes isolated from the rest of society as a reliable way to contain the outbreak, until either a cure or vaccine is developed. Even if a cure or vaccine isn’t yet available, the knowledge regarding infection source and transmission is made public as soon as it’s known, and widely circulated, so that others who aren’t infected can take appropriate precautions.

But what happens when both the principal source of infection and the principal method of transmission for a global pandemic are known to be directly linked to a lifestyle choice that is a political hot-button issue? Does elected leadership still speak the truth, so that those at risk can know the facts and adjust their lifestyle accordingly, or do they put reelection concerns above all else, bury their heads in the sand, and publicly chastise any of their own who dare speak the truth in public on the record?

Itching Ears and Mad Prophets

My pastor, when he’s discussing contemporary culture from either the sanctuary pulpit or the classroom lectern, likes to refer to what he calls, “itching ear disorder.”  The primary Scripture reference is 2 Timothy 4:3-4, referring to a time when people will have no further interest in the truth, and won’t tolerate listening to anything that contradicts their philosophical predispositions.  As a student of Scripture, I can say with some certainty that the prophets and apostles were well acquainted with this disorder.  Hosea even wrote about a time when hostility against the truth would become so great that those who insist on speaking it would be considered fools and maniacs.  According to a disputed George Orwell quote (“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.  The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.”), “itching ear disorder” isn’t exactly an unusual condition in the human experience.

And this brings us to the current philosophical skirmish involving Michigan’s Republican National Committeeman, which involves the latest escalation by some unsavory elements within the Michigan Republican Party, who seem to be in a desperate quest to reclaim lost relevance.
