No Dummy, It’s Not a “Michigan” Problem

Those of us with wells and septic fields who are not within those corrupt systems and their deadbeats have no responsibility to pay one cent into their problem. None.

If Chad had a brain I suspect he’d take it out and play with it. Regurgitating AP propaganda is not “news”.

On each and every issue, especially those with $$$$ attached, its necessary to look at all the periphery issues. In this case, our US Senators feel its just hinkydorry to introduce a SB to regulate the great lakes. This is just one of many steps which have already been taken for the feds to take full control of our great lakes. This is NOT their problem and we shouldn't be looking to the feds. Engler quietly gave away Isle Royale and literally, if I recall correctly, 30 miles in any direction from the Isle is a "biosphere". Now, the EPA is putting its two cents in "advising" that we'll owe billions of dollars to repair a system that should have been maintained from the get-go. Who asked them!!!!!! The term-limited Gov was recently hanging out in China--you may recall that the new international bridge is part of a superhighway being slammed down our throats (won't cost us a dime we were told) and is being funded by China. The Gov gave away Michigan Land to Canada--but it won't cost us a dime. How is any of this beneficial to Michiganders? All of these issues are connected by design--and in the long run--we can kiss good-bye to control of our natural resources and our citizenship. Back to the sewer/water infrastructure--it's not for you, but rather all the illegal immigrants we're going to take in, so they have affordable, safe housing, and guess whose paying for this?

Then you have Dan Scripps looking at the soon to be open set of Ray Franz (R-101)

Dan wants the Feds to claim ownership of the water under our feet.

Why not? That sonofabitch wanted to put meters on our private wells in 2009.

Anyone who'd vote for Dan has rocks in their head.

Hydro Dan must be defeated at all cost! Government can never be allowed to control the water from our grounds to our sinks! Our water is our water! It's our private property! Michigan is damn near floating on water. Hydro Dan isn't worried about wells running dry--MI isn't some western water parched state---he's worried about getting more control. The ultimate control over the people! Imagine if the state actually controlled, regulated, counted and charged you for every single gallon of water you need or use! Imagine the state telling you that you could not have a water well because they decided not to allow anymore wells in your aquifer because they believe it's peaked out. Your land would be suddenly worthless! (FYI, the state's water "tool" is highly inaccurate! Ask any water well driller). Hydro Dan did want to place water meter's on every private well in MI, so that the state could charge TAX each and every one of us for "our" water! But when he and his goons figured that wouldn't work, that it would cost too much plus people would bypass them somehow, they decided they would simply place a tax on every property owner's tax bill based on estimated water withdrawal. That way if you didn't pay your property taxes you would lose your property. Hydro Dan is a classic Marxist! He does not believe in private property. And he sure as hell would not stop at stealing your water rights! "The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property." -Karl Marx

Here's a blast from the past with said Money Quote.

We hicks have little power politically, but what we do have is land and resources--lots of both. Why would a northern legislator want to cede local and individual control of water (a resource that historically the legislature has no reason to even claim) largely to urban legislators who have performed so horribly when attempting to govern any facet of public or private life in their own back yards? Sure, lets put them in charge.

        MORE HERE

See? It wasn't just me who was pissed off at that Marxist-minded dung beetle Scripps.

Just another story in a long line of the federal government sticking its nose into things it has no authority to be involved with in the first place.

Ask anyone in the republican kakistocracy where the Constitution gives the federal government the authority for things like the EPA, the Clean Water Program, or better yet...how a completely useless tool like Judge Fenkins was able to rule over the DWSD for decades while the system had been allowed to implode under his watch?

This story is just priming those of us who actually pay, to get ready to be shaken down yet again to cover up for the incompetence of those learned managers who came before.

And don't even suggest asking why none of them are looking through jail bars right now for their actions...

So, why still residing within the system of corruption? Plenty of areas within reasonable travel time in the cesspool that is Metro Detoilet where you can control your own water bills and shield yourself as much as possible.
