Headline: State has ‘complete confidence’ in 4 employees who chose COVID-19 vendors

The contract with Great Lakes Community Engagement was signed Monday, but the language indicates the work start date was April 1 with an end date of June 1.

Whitmer said Tuesday the contract was an “unnecessary distraction” from Michigan’s coronavirus response.

“The Department of Health and Human Services doesn’t have a political bone in their theoretical body,” she said.

Oh? So what in the Whitmer administration is this.

Headline: State worker faces police probe after tweet suggesting Howell should burn

A state employee will be disciplined by her department and is under investigation by police for a viral tweet in late May that appeared to encourage people to burn Howell a few days before a police brutality protest.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services employee wrote from a since-deleted Twitter account called @WowDamia that “the first city to burn in michigan should be Howell, all in favor say I.”

A Health and Human Services Department spokeswoman said the state’s action against the employee is pending and wouldn’t release the worker’s name.

“An investigation was conducted and has been completed,” said Lynn Sutfin, a spokeswoman for the Department of Health and Human Services. “Disciplinary action is being taken.”

Action is being taken? What does this entail within the Whitmer administration? Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s Obama transplant with zero healthcare background, a highly overcompensated poser sitting around with a thumb up his departmental posterior to see if/when criminal charges of inciting domestic terrorism occur? …then if somehow not, it all is magically swept under the carpet.

I gotta say, we’re only into her first 529 days in office, and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has created the most unpardonable and remorseless administration, I can recall in the half century+ of living in Michigan.
