Talk about cognitive disconnect!
"Romney McDaniel, speaking with reporters after the convention, said she is personally opposed to Proposal 1 but wants to see Michigan roads get fixed, noting she had to replace tires and get an alignment this year.
"I think the voters are going to have a very interesting choice come May 5th," she said. "They're going to have to make a decision whether they want lower taxes or whether they're going to want their roads fixed. That's where this vote should be."
And this is coming from a "leader"?!?
Leaders come right out and say, I am against this for X,Y and Z reasons. The correct response for this issue is to do..."
If she is obviously woefully incapable of doing that simple task, I'd hate to see what she'll do when faced with a real problem in the not-so-near future.
Her coronation election, coupled with the fact that the resolutions to oppose Prop 1 were squashed, speaks volumes regarding where the Michigan republican party's priorities truly lie.
"In a bit of a glitch, a filmed Schuette speech was shown in which he said he was "excited about out new leadership team of Ronna (Romney McDaniel) and Jeff (Sakwa)" before the state chairmanship election had been held."
It was there but, not to worry, KRH. Because we'll get to the bottom of this. Remember, Schuette is on duty, right? #RepublicanAttorneysGeneralAssociation #DowGOP #TeamR'sProp2015-1 #WhoChallengedMoolenaar? #GoGoTeamRINO
When I made that post, I was doing it on a tablet that I had borrowed, and not on my regular computer (which has way more storage than the tablet does).
If I would've suspected that Mr. Heinlein would get a little "funny" with his article, I would've gone home, got on my computer and DL'd the entire page (which is what I normally do when I'm writing something).
Can we say that we need to start verifying computer tallies with a hard count of the paper ballots? The Convention floor indicated a good majority for Norm. As to the video mishap, maybe we need to vote again.

Sh!t's getting too easy to figure out, isn't it?
Regrettably, I did not.
