Smart politics.
Most every elite Republican right down to the local country club has been frozen from responding to similar tactics; so why not the dynasty who demanded that we embrace both of them?
So, tell me again...how is the H.W. clan any different than my local Tea Partier types either privately supporting or keeping their mouths shut in regards to Senate Bill 1129 of 2012...or the fast-moving "underground railroad movement" surrounding no-vote-of-the-people-required multi-billion dollar Pension Obligation Bonds and their (necessary) uber-wealthy private 'conductors' on this generational robbing journey?
In other words, how does any conservative Michigander blame a Bush or even Obama when their currently preferred big-gun method of political support ('flash mobbing') during the most historic election 'ever'...was certainly not deployed during the Big 3 bailout or (heaven forbid) 'cash for clunkers' ???
If iI were the Democrats?
I'd follow this genius up with the exact same tactic all across this country right own to the local Republican parties.
Or is this story no different than no-formal-vote-taken "resolutions" surrounding good 'ol boy Republican support of similarly connected Clinton fans (Milliken) in Grand Traverse County?

Exactly how are people being prevented from responding?
What's keeping them from picking up a phone, writing a letter or knocking on a door (I just prefer to let myself into their office when I feel the need) of their local non-representing "representatives"?
But getting back on topic here, I can tell you that the Bush family's name now means Mudd from here on.
There is no way that they will be able to wipe that stain away.

Most every Republican elite (and many TeaPartiers) have been "frozen" (speechless) in regards to Trump (period). HW Bush has now been similarly "frozen" (politically) as his spokesman just indicated.
There is no other tactic much more damning or effective (ask Jason) than pointing out that a good share of your own brothers in arms (let alone 'leadership') are more than willing to step over to the dark side at any given moment ('anonymously' of course).
Voting solidly behind Hilary's surrogate (Milliken) and then claiming (see Bush's spokesman) that you don't want to talk about it anymore or share your vote (see over 30 Grand Traverse elite Republicans) ahead of the most important election in American history is "'frozen" defined.
TeaPartiers aren't demanding that these votes or loyalties be revealed for the public record and Democrats are simply doing it for them (which is just plain smart and indeed what many of us need to know 'anyways' moving forward).
