Something uplifting for office morale from Governor Rick Snyder.
Click on the image to make it large enough for a legal sized cubicle hanging.
Watch for sweaty brows.
Lansing’s legislators who sold their souls during the Medicaid expansion trick are already learning of the failure (job losses, hospital staff reductions, false savings) that they enacted in Michigan by embracing the Obamacare mandate. Unheeded warnings by activists, REAL economists, and a history of failure by government resulted in a number of Representatives, and Senators expanding welfare through healthcare, and accepting a few shekels from the most tyrannical US federal bureaucracy ever.
And now its time for them to pay the piper, and AFP has started its reminder campaign.
Can you thank Rick Snyder for forcing this on parents in Michigan? Why, yes. Yes We Can.
Elections have consequences.
It sure doesn’t take long for the dregs of the Third world voting MI-GOP to reveal what is their next scheme. For example? OK, take a full-time wannabe somebody in Oakland County, who used to be a staffer for ousted Joe “it’s not your money” Knollenberg, now working the crony nepotism angle for filling the opening of the National Committeewoman spot. Skip to 20:57 in the podbean.
Yippie. It’s the “Big Ronna” and “Little Ronna” show.
Oh, and old brother “arithmetic” Romney, 24 + 4 = 30
Michigan’s Gang Of Polyps. These people making up the state Party apparatchik truly are sociopaths.
So, this is what Snyder, Richardville, and Bolger, are peddling as their $350M “Grand Bargain”. Got it. And, Oakland County you sure know how to pick winners too.
“That is why it was a no-brainer when I supported a vote on the DIA millage in 2012. More than 63% of Oakland County voters agreed with me. And a majority of voters in Wayne and Macomb did, too.” – L. Brooks Patterson 01/19/2014
More and more the left side reveals its mission to undercut the principles within the Republican Party
A guy who has (as far as I know) never held a REAL private sector job, never owned a business, seems to travel the world on pixie dust, and is a persistent cancer within the Republican party has now hit the pancreas. When Dennis Lennox says:
Instead of falling into the left’s trap, Republicans should go on the offensive with a bold manifesto focused on creating opportunities that not only raises the minimum wage — an increase to $12 would impact 40 percent of working Americans — but reforms welfare and reduces taxes on main street innovators, entrepreneurs and job creators.
It has to be a trap itself.
First of all, people can want to their hearts desire.
There are certain truisms however. Diamonds are sparkly, fish swim in the sea, electricity allows us to interact in this way, and “Marriage,” is between a man and a woman.
Call it what you want, “pairing,” “Coupling,” “Partnering,” etc.. but its not marriage unless its between a man and a woman. And to be clear, it is NOT a civil right.
On the old blog, Kevin Heine posted a great article on a recent manufactured issue within the Michigan Republican Party. At the end of it he posted a video that is well worth the watch.
Once upon a time, there was a snake who at the end of a path wanted to cross a river. The river was raging, and it looked hopeless.
Along came a horse down the path, looking to cross that river. The snake said “HEY! Could you help a brother out?”
The horse was accommodating. He carried that snake across that river safely to the other side, where he dismounted and promptly bit the horse.
The horse was dumbfounded. “Why did you bite me?” he asked.
The snake replied “I’m a snake, stupid.”
Indeed, as one might trust those who are recipients of favor, there is a fairly consistent expectation that simply feeding an alligator wont protect you when he is hungry again. In this case of carrying the snake, its in his nature to bite.
