This is a rather entertaining series on how government works.
Duggan isn’t corrupt? Here, pull this finger.
I hope Slick Rick’s inaugural emcee buddy ends up in a cell next to Kwame.

Now a brief message from the Michigan Automobile Dealers Associations’ schwantz-swallower.
Didja catch that? “It doesn’t change current law at all”. And, he stared us in the eye saying that. So, why is the legislature frivolously wasting our tax dollars writing Law that does nothing? More Snyder lies. Second point, if it had such “strong legislative support. The House vote was 106 to 1, the Senate vote 38 to nothing,” then what the f**k is this veto?
I have to give Snyder credit for one thing, he’s consistent – a consistently lying a**hole. Snyder knows it, and WE ALL KNOW IT.
Thanks, Rep. McMillin, for being the lone champion of free markets.
What is it with Rick Snyder, and all these no-bid contracts that surround him? If it’s not Wisconsin’s rejected trains, then it’s his cousin’s furniture contract. Now, we have another no-bid contract driven by Snyder’s Medicaid Expansion.
But a Snyder administration official said the timing “was a coincidence” as the contract increase had been in the works for more than a month before the governor’s fundraise at the Muslim Unity Center.
See that? Yet, another Snyder related “coincidence”.
Campaign finance records show the Shaya family, which owns and operates the J & B Medical Supply, has donated more than $65,000 to Snyder’s campaign over two election cycles. On June 9, the family threw a fundraiser for Snyder that cost more than $19,000 — the most expensive shindig for the governor this election cycle — and generated nearly $74,000 in campaign cash, records show.
That doesn’t look too good, does it?
Donors included former state Sen. Loren Bennett, contract manager for J & B Medical. Bennett and two other company officials did not return messages Monday seeking comment.
Ho, ho, ho, look at what slithered out here. Dick Posthumus’ old toady. Yes, the same Bennett who not long ago said, “Michigan’s 11th Congressional District faces an unusual situation, as its incumbent congressman failed to get enough petition signatures to qualify for the ballot — thus denying Republicans in the district a qualified nominee”. Loren is a real piece of work, yes? Thank God, Bentivolio was sent to Washington, and not that corruptocrat ☞
So, what’s a Nerd supposed to do when caught in another no-bid series of contracts that netted him $93,000 worth of re-election freebies? Use his playbook on deflection.
“People are trying to make something out of it,” Snyder said. “Basically, they’ve had an agreement with the state going back to before when I was governor. Healthy Michigan (Medicaid expansion) has been going so well, we needed to keep things going.”
Wait a minute, I thought Snyder said he didn’t blame others. So, the Democrats “are trying to make something out of it”? Really? Well, let’s see…
Finley’s brand of centrist Hopium is wearing off as it appears that pragmatism now sucks.
Snyder’s response is a somnambulist commercial in which he comes across as dull as a valiumed-up dental patient with a message eerily reminiscent of Granholm’s infamous “in five years, you’ll be blown away” pledge.
Michigan hardly ever unseats an incumbent governor, particularly when the economy is on the upswing. If there were a 2010-style Republican wave cresting, Snyder would be up 10 points in this race.
Except now Snyder has his apolitical record of screwing over everyone to accomplish his amoral big government agenda, which ain’t a helluva lot different from the DNC/MDP apparatchik.
Tough lessons for those who followed a corporate snake who built the bulk of his personal wealth by means of taxpayer subsidy at the MEDC, however, if one plays in the middle of the road, sooner or later they’re gonna get crushed. Nobody likes those that pretend they’re everything while standing for nothing.
I’m staying my course with a vote for Ruth Johnson. To hell with the rest of ’em.
Peyronie’s Baird had a great fall
Since Baird’s tax issue came to light, he has worked to clear up residency issues. He still claims a tax exemption on his home in suburban Chicago, where he spends his weekends with wife and family, Snyder’s office has said.
Baird’s Illinois driver’s license expired Aug. 24, according to the Illinois Secretary of State’s office, but he continues to drive a Mercedes SUV with Illinois plates.
As of Monday, Baird remained on the voter rolls in Illinois, said Courtney Greve, spokeswoman for the Cook County Clerk’s Office.
Records show Baird last voted by mail in the November 2012 elections, Greve said.
Snyder, who is in a tough re-election battle against Democrat Mark Schauer, has expressed support for Baird and acknowledged he “made a couple of errors.”
All the Nerdking’s horses and all the Nerdking’s men
Couldn’t put Peyronie’s Baird together again.
That’s right, folks! “It really was a clerical error and a computer error” because as we property owners know that all assessor offices could really give a rat’s ass about collecting taxes, right?
…and, the Snyder Swamp continues to grow.
As if, Facts Of The Day – Tuesday Edition wasn’t vomit inducing enough, take a gander…
Big Tent, my ass! It’s a swamp cesspool.
Then, there’s Jenell…

Ya, I know it’s a complete waste of time sending to Rick Snyder, as Boobus Michiganderus picked an amoral stealth-Democrat for governerd.
You read that right. Henry Paulson, the same creep that stole $700 million to nationalize the banksters based upon his 3 page *document* that is TARP (Remember that, TEA folks?), is now the Nerd’s new best friend.
Gov. Rick Snyder and former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson Jr. teamed up Monday to emphasize why Michigan should continue to forge closer economic ties to China, in a panel discussion hosted by the Detroit Economic Club.
China is one of the United States’ biggest trading partners, but both men emphasized that its economy will soon change from one of cheap labor, exports and government investment to one where a growing middle-class shifts to a consumption economy, leaving China with money to invest overseas. Snyder has made direct foreign investment in Michigan one of his priorities for building the state economy.
“Globalization is only going to continue,” Snyder said. “Historically, China was an exporter but they’re looking at consumption now.”
Yes, it’s a dog eat dog world out there so, Boobus Michiganderus, crony capitalists like Snyder say, “get on your MilkBone underwear.”
Calling China a potential “consumption engine,” Paulson noted, “We’re going to want some of our dollars to come back and be invested here.”
Well, at least this time the two scammers are not bullshitting you. Eventually, the Chicoms will be the consumers, and the cheap labor will be you, Boobus Americanus. Actually, it’s happening now where the Chicoms are attempting to set up their own colonies on U.S. soil, and why not? Aging orientals with 5 large in their pocket for U.S. citizenships have figured out a way to escape their gender selective abortion Communist government for a more appealing Socialist-lite Medicare and MEDC provided hammock ride to the Great Dirt Nap.
For that matter, who is it that said that if it weren’t for their business with the gender selective baby aborting Chicoms, “If we hadn’t reached out we’d be one-tenth of the size we are today”? If you answered The Wooden Shoe Mafia, you were correct. Thus enters, Doug DeVos. Naturally, that means those Canadians need a make-work union labor *project* that connects their Port in Halifax, so the Chicoms can import what they manufacture to America, and receive their food supplies and other natural resources like coal (do you like this article, Boobus Americanus?), which is for the most part paying the interest on our .FEDGOV borrowing.
Oh! And, lisping Prince William II, wants the hidden agenda of the DRIC bridge – new tunnels. Yes, railcars. No, those as of April 30, 2014 homely “Kinetic” boxes won’t be heading to the ChiComs. Besides, folks like Gary Peters, and the Nerd are fond of trains. That’s a fact, Jack.
Snyder is heading back to China in the fall for another trade mission. He has made a trip there every year since elected.
For some strange reason Slick Rick did not visit Jinhua City. That is a shame as the Nerd could’ve brought back snacks for his doppelgänger in D.C., Barry and Moochelle.
In a few words… Made In China.
Brian Calley was instrumental in ending the "stupid" business killing Michigan Business Tax
I’ll be clear, my preference for a challenge in the executive arrangement for Michigan would have been to go after the Governor directly.
However, the cost difference between a statewide gubernatorial contest versus a delegate election is significant, and Wes Nakagiri in his bid for LT Gov at convention STILL has a high hurdle to leap. Especially with MiGOP resources being used to recruit ‘establishment-GOP’ loyal delegates throughout the state; with rumored bribery in some districts raising eyebrows. Some delegates might already have made up their minds whom they will support if they are selected to go to state convention. I wonder if all the delegates are even aware of easily identified history?
I wonder too, if it even matters to them.
This weekend’s Governor’s breakfast in Traverse City had all the top players present. The guv, lt. guv, AG, SoS, and candidate Land all there. Brian Calley was touted by the governor as the man responsible for eliminating the MBT.
The MBT as you know, was a stupid tax. No Doubt about it. Snyder even said so. Right in this video:
