With Michigan's upcoming confiscatory registration hikes, its time! - Save 20% by renewing early.
Michigan vehicle owners can renew their registrations up to 6 months ahead of time.
If your tabs are going to be due from now till June, its time to act to save a few bucks. Using Express SOS, you can avoid the 20% markup this year that our tax hungry legislature and governor have in store as-of Jan 1, 2017.
You’re welcome.

I did and saved about $45.
Thumbs up brother!
Sadly, there is no good way for most Michiganders to avoid the other tax increase that goes along with the registration increase. The road funding package increases both Michigan's 15 cent per gallon diesel tax and 19 cent per gallon gasoline tax to 26.3 cents on January 1st.
None of these increases will go to additional road repairs and improvements. These funds will be overwhelmingly used to pay off pension and OPEB underfunding, particularly that of 'mass transit' entities. The State of Michigan's current fiscal year budget also withdraws $ 400 million + in General Fund monies they were spending on the roads in previous fiscal years.
It is cold comfort to see the environmental wackos get hit the hardest by the registration fee increase. Trucking companies are going to suffer the largest overall hit. They, and their associated jobs, will be headed to Ohio pell mell. Romulus will become a ghost town.
The Legislature and Governor Snyder also quietly killed the $ 100 million set aside intended to encourage improved road durability.
The various parasites who feed off our state government have finally figured out how to evade the Headlee Amendment.
Damn, I had thought the swishy Nerd had about drove the final nail into the 'Michigander' coffin.
Done; saved my wife $29 by doing it now. (My truck doesn't come due until October, so I may be out of luck there.)
We need to seriously think through an Article II § 9 (Michigan Constitution) remedy to this mess; more on that another day.
