Are we talking about the same republican party?
Because their "Results not resistance" slogan isn't exactly anything to hang their hat on.
Unless, of course, your goal to go fund Michigan Roads not from the the funds that are already paid Michigan Motorists> (and spent appropriately), but from a perpetual tax hike that Michigan Motorists nuked at the ballot box several months earlier?
Unless, of course, your goal is to renege on a promise to Michigan taxpayers to reduce a "temporary" income tax hike (initiated by republican state senator Mike Bishop on 9/11 of all days), jammed through during the dark days of the Granholm era?
And don't even THINK about abolishing the income tax altogether? Thank you Dirty Dozen!
Unless, of course, your goal is to address staggering and constantly unjustifiable auto insurance hikes which is mandatory here in Michigan.. No, wait! Cannot do that since it is a republican (aside from the same Dirty Dozen) who is sitting on another bill to do just that in her committee?
Unless, of course, your goal is to tell your constituents that you will defund Planned Parenthood, Build the Wall and give us PERMANENT tax cuts, if elected.

Hope this does some good for the governor's race. So far, the ads I've seen for Whitmer are far better than the tired, reactive ones for Schuette.
