Jocelyn Benson continues her lawless (or ridiculously failbot) ways.
The Court of Claims today shot down another power grab by the SoS.
This is a good thing. But not the first time.
Ignoring years of established law on subjects ranging from when votes are counted, to the secretary trying to avoid administrative procedure, Benson is carrying on SOP. Arguably the most corrupt official in State government today, and there is one more act from her office that needs to be called out.
Right To Life of Michigan posted this image (on the right) on FB today, a photo of a ‘sample ballot’ issued by the SoS. It was originally thought to be a ballot, but the state department ‘assured them’ that it was ONLY a sample ballot.
The ballot in question was missing the names of Brock Swartzle, Mary Kelly, and Elizabeth Welch. So ONLY a sample ballot means that the real ballots contain ALL the names, right? And gosh, Welch (the left’s less-than-stellar nominee) was missing too ..so all is ok?
Right?
Not so fast. While it might not be the actual ballot, one might ask how many folks use the sample ballots to help them plan their voting effort?
What a wonderful surprise! ..To arrive in the voting booth and there are extra names to choose from!
Then consider that Welch is an inexperienced candidate with limited legal experience as a paper pusher in a law firm and NO RECORD of judicial decisions. She is no-doubt a sacrificial lamb.
Those names were left off on purpose in order to skew the vote to McCormack, whom the left feels they cannot allow to lose. The Democrat party is all about this type of shenanigans.
It seems that when they cannot win legitimately, there is always fraud. But lets give the SoS a little wiggle room ok? Something ..that might make us feel better about the gerrymandering that is going to begin under her careful watch soon.
Perhaps it is just a little straight up, and unmatched incompetence.

Hi Jason, if we don't see Mary Kelly on the Judicial ballot….we can fill in her name and fill in that box...correct?
The SOS has said that the ballots themselves have ALL the names on them. So no problem there.
The problem is that people research and go by the sample 'practice' ballots quite often. This 'mistake' will cause confusion and likely skew votes higher for the current incumbent.
