I’ve seen halfwits and full-on stupid in our legislature before but, Lordy, this Republican dingbat takes the cake: https://www.michiganvotes.org/2019-HB-4576
It’s fundamental basic skills.
What the hell was her district thinking when electing her?

True Story, My daughter took her driving test on the first snowfall of the season. Was worried due to her lack of experience in driving in snow. Took the driving test the same day as Captain of Football, and a girl who was later named a top grad. When I saw the parallel parking part of the test, which is done first (before they make the mom's sit in back and white knuckle it for the rest), I watched proudly (while standing in the cold) as my daughter parallel parked with ease. (Who knew, she didn't get this from me) Also, the tester got in the car and my daughter didn't start the car until his seatbelt was on. (My imput..thought for sure this would be on the test).
I say this because, on that testing day, my daughter, the youngest of the group that day, was the only one that passed. What failed them...yup, parallel parking. Apparently, parallel parking is the required protocol on whether one can safely drive as a teen.
Considering the nearly nine hours that I've spent waiting at the Michigan SoS this month alone to take care of business that should've. only taken me NO MORE THAN 30 minutes, I'd much rather see the Michigan Legislature do something a little more constructive with their time like compensating us for the time wasted in line by knocking $50 off of what we owe for each and every hour we're forced to wait in line.
The imbecile that we're stuck with as Secretary of State liked to brag about how much time she spent "preparing" for her job, that should light a sufficiently large fire under her behind to deal with something a little more pressing than mommy & daddy fudging their little darling's driver's log, and now cannot figure out why they cannot drive!
Hey, dickhead.... this post isn't your platform for that. Got something worthwhile to add to topic than conjecture and pissy-pants? Else-wise go write and post about it in your own post.
Last warning.
Funny, I just did.
Just ask anyone else who has had to deal first-hand with their "friendly and convenient" local SoS branch.
Sorry you're stuck in Metro Detoilet. SoS is a piece of cake in my backyard.
And, try to thread jack again, cupcake... Jason or not, don't care how all the cards fall.
