Been waiting for this feral unelected department headed up by an old Granholm administration retread‘s next move would be to pile on more pain for Gov. “Half” Whitmer’s prolonged Stay-at-home agenda to force the DNC’s Vote By Mail fraud upon us, which by the way- what better way is there for greasy forehead Gretchen to make profit off of misery than to Double the Dollar$ on an increasingly unemployed healthy Michiganians seeking a moment of decompression.
But I digress.
The first county, likely more to follow, served up the next squeeze.
LEELANAU COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) — In a continued effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 across Michigan, the Department of Natural Resources and local leaders are now shutting down some boat launches in Leelanau County.
The Leelanau County Sheriff’s Office received notification Thursday, April 2, 2020, that the DNR is closing three boat launches for public use effective April 3.
How ’bout them apples. Who are the so-called “local leaders” that don’t bend knee to The State? Name one that has ever told the DNR to go take a flying one, I’ll wait.
These closures will remain in effect until further notice.
Notice from whom? Sure as hell won’t be from a “local leader.”
The DNR said they are monitoring other popular fishing spots around northern Michigan to make sure people are maintaining a safe distance from one another.
Yep, and they will be monitoring it by cellphone data.
Interesting.
Prior to the change it was a $500 fine and a misdemeanor. If it has been changed to a $1000 fine and is a civil penalty, what does this mean?
Loss of due process.
Pretty much the same tactic LARA used on the TrumpCure, and what the MSP use.
"Prior to the order from MDHHS, violations of any of the Whitmer's edicts were to be treated as misdemeanors punishable by jail time and a $500 criminal fine.
That recourse still will be available to prosecutors, but the new order also provides for civil sanctions up to $1,000 civil penalty and possible action against an establishment’s state license."
The local park was shut down this morning due to "too many people using the amenities".
Not because of vandalizing. Not drinking or doing drugs. But simply using what it was there for.
We all must due our part to combat COVID-19.
Yah, hive mind appears to be a Rodney 'Can't we all just get along' King plague going on in this state. Sad!
I wonder how his go-along to get-along demeanor will be once the fit hits the shan.
I just went out to run some errands for family this afternoon and went to three stores.
Fights at two stores and security guards at all three (but they make great witnesses).
OABTW, What will happen after 70 days?
So.. wait til Gretch-Fuerher gets a hold of this idea https://www.wcax.com/content/news/Big-box-crackdown-explained-569308391.html
To protect your due process, punch the guy whose giving you the rath? The reason why it was changed from misdemeanor to civil infraction because there's a booking procedure and the jails are closed. The courts are closed, so the hope is you'll line up like sheep and just pay the find. After all, KnitWit knows you're about to get $1200 and she wants her share of it. But again, if you punch the guy giving you the hassle, you'll be arrested, hauled off to jail, given a CCPcovid test for free, arraigned and sent home. You'll get a jury trial, etc and really clog up the system. Or, you could forgo obtaining a fishing license, or if you do get a fishing license DO NOT PUT YOUR EMAIL OR PHONE ON THE LICENSE. Use a blow-up vessel which doesn't require a hull number. Get creative. Duh!
I can find no authority which allows knitwit to do what she's doing. Anyone???
