Slotkin’s Motives

Less about qualifications perhaps?

Some folks .. even on the right had a concern with Mike Roger’s former National Security influence and connections.

To some degree I understand, but..on the other hand:

Sen.-elect Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., expressed concern Sunday that some of President-elect Donald Trump’s selections of national security Cabinet positions could be beholden to his political preferences rather than an objective interpreting of intelligence.

Isn’t it curious how Rep. Elissa Slotkin, a former CIA officer, is suddenly voicing concerns about politicization in national security appointments?

Once Upon A Time in America You Could Trust Your Physician And Pharmacist

In recent times, 'medicine' has certainly hit it's low

Good afternoon fellow Patriots. Once upon a time in America, outside your immediate family, two people you could trust when in came to matters and concerns for your health was your family physician and your local independent pharmacist. Hospitals were locally managed and controlled by the members of the community, and staffed by the doctors living in the community or surrounding area.

Specialists were brought in on an as needed basis, or patients were referred to the nearest medical center, usually a university hospital with an associated medical school, when complex medical issues required specialist consultation. There were no mandatory treatment protocols that physicians must follow when caring for patients. Physicians were free to use their training, diagnostic skills supported by necessary testing procedures to ensure appropriate, proper and ethical treatment pursuant to their Hippocratic Oath. The most widely accepted short form translation of said Oath within the public domain is “…first do no harm”. However a complete translation would read as follows:

“I will follow that system of regimen which, according to my ability and judgment, I consider for the benefit of my patients, and abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous.”

Change My Mind

I have my opinions on the 2020 election and it’s outcomes.  And with the Fauci/Gates depopulation plan fully operational, all bets were clearly off with regard to truth in elections or issues in governance

Having said that, and living the last few years with inflation, additional foreign wars, loss of military assets, general national embarrassment, and a growth in gender schizophrenia driven by freaks who run our government?

Anyone who would vote for Biden (or any Democrat in Michigan for that matter)  in 2024  .. should be considered mentally challenged,  certifiably insane and dangerous, or at the very least stoned beyond belief.

Change my mind.

Then pass the munchies.

Questions For The Day – Elected Self Evaluation

Self Reflection for the politician

Are you an elected official?

If so,

  • Do you believe that we must all eventually face our maker, and answer for our actions?
  • As an elected person, are you a person who sees an opportunity to advance your influence over your community, or to make that influence less impactful and imposing?
  • Have you considered that every new rule you make or support, generally creates a new burden on someone? Or that at the very least, you ‘shift’ the burden from one party to another?
  • When you vote to enact new restrictions, do you find yourself justifying the decisions based on your own contemplation, or by reasoning offered from others?
  • Do you see new taxes as a source of that allows government to improve its services, or as a way to control behavior?
  • Has your election changed how you feel about new rules, taxes, or government’s role in people life?
  • Has your election changed how you see the size of government? Is it too-big, just-right, or not-enough?
  • In the performance of your duties, are you inclined to create new restrictions or find new ways to liberate your voters?
  • In reviewing your record to date, would you you be truly proud of the decisions you’ve made – IF viewing them through the your pre-elected lens and focus?

Sunday Sermon – Magic in the Faucet

Matthew 17:14-21

Thomas Edward Lawrence was born on August 16, 1888 in Wales. Popularly known as Lawrence of Arabia, Lawrence became famous for his exploits as a British Military liaison to the Arab Revolt during the First World War.

The desert raids of British officer Lawrence and his Arab rebels tied down many Turkish troops who could have been fighting the main British armies in the Middle East. Lawrence of Arabia’s struggle against the Turks during World War I was classic guerrilla warfare, and his personal account has become a classic of world literature. And, of course, many of you have seen the movie about the life of Lawrence of Arabia.

Lawrence wrote about his Arabian adventures in The Seven Pillars of Wisdom. During the war, Lawrence formed close friendships with many of the Sheiks of Arabia. After the war, he brought some of these Sheiks back to England to show his appreciation for their support against the Turkish domination.

They had a wonderful visit, appeared before the Joint House of Commons and Parliament and had an audience with the Queen. On the last night of their visit, Lawrence offered them just about anything they wanted to take back with them to their desert homes. They led him up to the hotel room, into the bathroom, and pointed to the faucets in the bathtub and said that they wanted to take faucets with them so that they would magically provide them with running water in the deserts.

They didn’t realize that the faucets were superficial. Behind them was plumbing, a hot water heater, an energy source that heated the water, a city main that supplied the water, and from the city main went a line to an outside source of water!

The magic was not in the faucet! It was what was behind the faucet that gave the water!

China Taps Governor Gretchen Whitmer To Lead Lockdown Enforcement

Looking good in gray.

The ‘Bee’ nails it.

“BEIJING — This week, dozens of Chinese citizens died after the Chinese Communist Party welded their apartment doors shut and a fire broke out in the building, sparking protests. China has doubled down on its “Zero COVID” policy, however, and has tapped Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to lead its COVID lockdown enforcement measures.

“Michigan’s lockdowns were wonderfully effective in slowing the spread of COVID as well as freedom,” said a Chinese Communist Party spokesman in a statement. “Our shared values with Whitmer, who we have affectionately dubbed the ‘Ice Queen’, make her the ideal candidate to lockdown our citizens under brutal totalitarian rule.”

“Frankly, this woman is a pro.” ..”

Stupidity

Proving once again, that Republicans can be as moronic and ignorant as Democrats

Don’t ever let your kids or the dog drive your car.

That might be a good idea if the ‘bi-farcian’ sponsors of HB5272 have their way, anyhow. On Tuesday at 9am, the Michigan House Judiciary Committee will take up testimony on House Bill 5272, which would authorize state and local police to use un-manned “photo radar” machines to issue speeding tickets on Michigan roads. Language in the bill actually says you are presumed guilty until proven innocent:

(4) In a prosecution for a violation of this section, prima facie evidence that the vehicle described in the citation issued was operated in violation of this section, together with proof that the defendant was at the time of the violation the registered owner of the vehicle, creates a rebuttable presumption that the registered owner of the vehicle was the individual who committed the violation. The presumption is rebutted if the registered owner of the vehicle files an affidavit by regular mail with the clerk of the court that he or she was not the operator of the vehicle at the time of the alleged violation or testifies in open court under oath that he or she was not the operator of the vehicle at the time of the alleged violation. The presumption also is rebutted if a certified copy of a police report, showing that the vehicle had been reported to the police as stolen before the time of the alleged violation of this section, is presented before the appearance date established on the citation. For purposes of this subsection, the owner of a leased or rented vehicle shall provide the name and address of the individual to whom the vehicle was leased or rented at the time of the violation.

Those are a couple of iffy “if” statements there comrades.

Perhaps these losers: Gary Eisen (district 81) Joseph Bellino, Gregory Markkanen, David Martin, Ben Frederick, Robert Bezotte, Pat Outman, Beth Griffin, David LaGrand, Julie Brixie might get a call or a letter from their misrepresented constituents?
