It seems as if we cannot go a day without the Republican Party, for one reason or another, disgracing itself in shameful, infuriating fashion. That has certainly been the case with the latest Oakland County GOP Executive Committee meeting, which was canceled and then scheduled mere minutes before important county convention proceedings.
Although Oakland GOP Chairwoman Theresa Mungioli will surely say she had nothing but the purest of intentions scheduling the Executive Committee meeting 20 minutes before a county convention, that is nothing but bunk. This is apart of a long trend of despicable maneuvers to disenfranchise, subjugate and demean the individuals she is meant to be representing. This is no isolated incident, far from it.
This is a palpable, conniving maneuver to sweep a great deal of urgent business under the rug. There are resolutions on the key issues that face our nation that need to be considered. GOP activists are leading the charge on these fronts. They are trying to lead the party by doing yeoman’s work promoting the solutions that will actually restore the republic. However, the country club establishment elite won’t even acknowledge these individuals, much less devote time, energy and resources toward their efforts. Instead, villainous party ‘leaders’ who poisoned an entire town’s water supply and caused national infamy are championed.
The controversy over Chairwoman Mungioli and Secretary Williams’ egregious power-play over the vacancy in the 8th district is still raging as well. Last December, the duly-elected county executive committee members called a lawful meeting to attend to pressing business. Because Chairwoman Mungioli goes out of her way to have as few meetings as possible, we were unable to take care of business so we had to take matters into our own hands. The rogue leadership responded by arbitrarily and illegally canceling our meeting. We didn’t respond to their petty, divisive tactics and held our meeting anyway. This entire fiasco was meant to be addressed during the next Executive Committee meeting, but it’s hard to imagine we will even be able to touch upon it in 20 minutes.
It is always a shell game with Mungioli. We can never get a fair shake. We are never treated like we are members of a party whose input is respected and considered, but rather subordinates groveling beneath a dictator. It is not just a local problem. This is endemic of the GOP as a whole. The establishment gang never seems to quit, no matter how many times they are disgraced. Remember that they have entire teams filled with golim, funded with taxpayer money of course, working overtime to take away your rights. There is no limit to the tricks they have up their sleeves.
The GOP establishment must think that their cheap parlor tricks are fooling anyone. Hello?!?!? Look at who the front runner for the President is. It has never been more apparent that the ‘Emperor Wears No Clothes’ moment has arrived for these gonifs. What will it take for these tone-deaf, arrogant cretins to get the picture? Will it need to involve pitchforks and torches? Will it need to be blood on the streets? What is the end game here?
It’s hard to believe that the Founding Fathers would be doing anything but staging violent revolution right now if they were around in this day and age. We are at a watershed moment. The Rubicon has been crossed. Pandora’s box has been ripped off. There is no turning back. We have past the point of no return. The only question that remains is: How much more carnage will we experience on the downward spiral toward oblivion?
My plea, my olive branch if you will, to the GOP establishment is as follows: How much are you willing to take? Is pride and prestige really worth this much to you? What are you willing to sacrifice to keep the Titanic afloat a little while longer ? Please ask yourselves these questions, ruminate upon them, and take them to heart. Consider this to be your much-needed reality check.
Clicking your heels and repeating your trite, bumper sticker slogans isn’t going to grease things over this time. ‘One Tough Nerd’ and ‘Recovery State’ were cute while they lasted, but now the public has awakened. The masses rightfully want Snyder’s head on a platter for his crimes. The public has discovered the dirty little secret that we in the liberty and tea party grassroots have known for years: That Rick Snyder is a sniveling, contemptible, oath breaking scoundrel of the highest caliber. He’s the kind of guy who would sell you and your family down the river in an instant if it meant a buck in his pocket, and now everyone knows it. In fact, he is so hated that a bipartisan coalition is formulating based on sheer contempt for this lowly weasel. Talk about making lemonade out of lemons!
Make no mistake about it: Theresa Mungioli is the Rick Snyder of Oakland County. She lords over the richest and arguably most influential county in Michigan for a reason, and that reason surely isn’t competence. She works in unison with Snyder, Schuette, Calley and the rest of the RINOs to twist the knife in a little bit deeper into the guts of Michigan families everyday. That, my friends, is unacceptable. I just hope and pray that this vile, putrid cesspool is put down the easy way, rather than the hard way.
The GOP Establishment has become a sewer. Too many people wedded to the "party" and not enough "Republicans" wedded to the ideals embedded in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Their services are to the highest bidder, whether payment is in money, prestige or power. That's all that matters to them. Wake up my fellow Republicans! What America will you be leaving to your children and grandchildren? The Establishment GOP elite are a coven of power-hungry, duplicitous players. If you want your country back, you're going to need to stand together will those that are fighting for our liberty and take it back. The elites won't give the power back to the people they make a pretense of representing, willingly. I for one, am not interested in "getting along" with those that are accelerating the demise of our Republic or caving into their demands. They feign "unity" but only unity on THEIR terms. They have repeatedly disregarded the wishes of the delegates who were duly elected to represent their constituency and run roughshod over the will of the majority of Republican voters. Their sole concern is the perpetuation of their own power structure and of the donor class and lobbyists that they wittingly and eagerly serve.
Thanks Shane--it makes absolutely no sense to me why anyone would want to remain on the side of a group (elitists) that so outwardly ostracizes its rank and file members. It seems to me that their notion of possessing power is shared by such a small and getting smaller, closely held few that they have no sense of reality. Its hard to lead when you have no followers. They simply aren't paying attention. I witnessed this when Kasich came to town. All the Elitists were there. Romney in that same venue five years before had at least 1000 folks, Kasich barely had 200. (The day before, Sanders garnered 3000+ who stood in the cold for more than 2 hours to get in.) In my congressional district, Trump won overwhelmingly as did Sanders. The above seems to be a national problem--We've got Romney doing stump speeches--and I want to know who cares. I do want to thank him for this as he seems to be the kiss of death. Poor Cruz his latest endorsement victim. What I really want to say is we are witnessing the imploding of the GOP and there's no doubt in my mind who will be left standing.
Thanks, Shane.
Very few of us in larger Michigan counties by population/power are ever treated to the inner workings of our local GOP. Patriots in smaller counties have it even worse. More blow-by-blow stories such as the one above clearly naming even more bad actors (locally) is our children's only hope.
We can't fight what we can't see nor scale historically unassailable walls if there is nobody on the inside willing to simply unlock the gate.
So we should always vote. That must be our mantra. We aught to be able to symbolically reference the party of people who vote.
Frankly, I'm rather surprised that Welday, seatbelts are for little people Patterson, and Ruth ignores Prop 15-1 campaign finance violation Johnson, are not mentioned in the list of names along with Schuette, the Nerd, and Lt. Autard mandate, when calling out the outlived their usefulness shitbags of Oakland County.
Other than that, good post, Mr. Trejo.
And, the GOP/RNC wonders why people are leaving the Grand Ol' Party in droves? Well, it's because of vile, malicious and underhanded games conducted by those who consider themselves to be the Controlling Elitists.
Um, vote counts would prove you wrong about people leaving a Party, unless you meant DNC.
But, you're right about the UniParty elitists, and while they are losing control, we'll just have to wait it out a few more weeks to see if they're dumb enough to burn the GOP to the ground.
We really can make a difference when we ALL turn up at the voting booth. Don't be among the ones who fail to vote. Let's overwhelm them!
With Trump.
BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
You lurker you. 😉
