Ready For Hillar-it-y

So it begins for the Butcher of Benghazi…
Damn shame that little blonde hottie didn’t think to use water. And, really… an arrest?
Brian Spellacy, U.S. Secret Service supervisory special agent in Las Vegas, said the woman was being questioned and would face criminal charges. Spellacy declined to identify the woman, and he said it wasn’t immediately clear what the charges would be.
However, when it comes to four dead Americans under Hillary’s watch?
Good luck with that, Jennifer.

Its Official – Arcand Is On The Ballot For CD1!
by Jason • • 1 Comment
Incumbent Dan Benishek has yet to turn in any signatures and has not yet filed.
As of this writing, Alan Arcand is the only candidate for Michigan’s first Congressional District.
Turning in 1300 signature today (picture on right) at the the Secretary of State’s office this morning in Lansing, the Iron River native has made his mark. He is challenging Republican incumbent Dan Benishek in the August primary for the House seat in Michigan’s largest Congressional district. Arcand, an Air Force veteran and father of three young boys, cites Constitutional violations by both Congress and the administration as reasons for his campaign.
“Washington is definitely broken, and I’ve been fixing things all my life. It’s time for some serious repair of the federal government. We need to enforce the Constitution and regain control of the government to ensure the future and prosperity of our children.”
Arcand will be forming his campaign committee immediately upon his return to Iron River.

The “New Normal” Nation Within America

Little did the Founding Fathers know that only 237 years after giving George III a boot ride out of America, that a new empire surpassing Britannia’s size would now occupy America.
The number of Americans who were enrolled in Medicaid at any time during fiscal 2013 exceeded the entire population of the United Kingdom, according to new data published by the federal government’s Medicaid and CHIP Payment Access Commission (MACPAC).
Were Medicaid a nation instead of a U.S. entitlement program it would be the 20th most populous country on earth.
“The estimated number of individuals ever covered by Medicaid remained steady at 72.7 million in FY 2013, compared to 72.2 million in FY 2012,” said MACPAC’s statistical report, released on April 1.
Congratulations Nerdpublicrats, and Mr. “Take a vote, not a vacation” – You ALL helped Obama grow that!

Detroit City Council's New Knee-Jerk Licensing Requirements Out Of Line
One would think there is a point where even the most oppressive government knows when to say when.
I sell security cameras, and the related security recorders. There are few people who understand the advantages of having a properly set up security camera system than myself. One light think I would always advocate on behalf of my profession. However, like other mandatory (kaf kaf- Obamacare) ‘solutions,’ forcing a business to buy those systems is just plain wrong. The Detroit news reports that the Detroit city council is doing just that:
“The City Council on Tuesday unanimously voted to strengthen licensing requirements for self-service gas stations in the city and requires strategically placed indoor and outdoor digital surveillance cameras in the wake of a brutal beating on the city’s east side last week.”
“Licensing Requirements” are being used as an excuse to provide public policing tools (remember, police are there AFTER the events) on the back of the gas station owners.

As Reason magazine puts it “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things.”
The emasculation of America continues. ‘Fairness’ above common sense or decency, and the dear of losing precious federal favor for our institutions of indoctrination.

Detroit City Airport to get Michigan Taxpayers “Bailout” Too

Detroit City Airport to get $28.5 Million Taxpayer Money in Revised Bankruptcy Plan
The fleecing of Michigan taxpayers money continues with revised bankruptcy plan. The $28.5 million earmarked in Detroit emergency manager Kevyn Orr’s revised restructuring plan would also set aside money for a study of the airport’s role in its east-side neighborhood.
The money would come from the city’s anticipated bankruptcy settlement and the total could go as high as $40 million according to some reports. The city’s general fund has subsidized the airport in recent years because its revenues “have fallen far short of expenses,” Orr’s plan says.

Because Indiana is the epicenter for earthquakes
Saturday, a taxpayer funded exercise in preparedness was going on. From the always-up-to-something folks in state government:
LANSING. In an effort to practice and test its emergency mobilization capabilities, the Michigan State Police (MSP) is participating in a simulated exercise tomorrow; Saturday, April 5, 2014.
The simulated preparedness exercise will test the department’s response to an Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) request for police officers to assist the State of Indiana with recovery operations in the aftermath of a simulated earthquake. The scenario will require the mobilization of 60 MSP personnel from across the state to the Lansing area. ..
…
Please note: This is not a media event but rather an advisory to the media to help prevent any public concern during the activities of this simulated exercise.
Nothing to see here.
Move along now folks.
