Here you have a candidate for governor with diddly-squat for name recognition here in Michigan.
And good luck finding anyone that can cite anything that he authored during his very brief stint in office (hint: for fun with your democratic friends; ask them about his legislative accomplishments... their responses will provide hours of entertainment when they stammer and struggle for an answer).
Schauer needs something... anything... to give him press coverage.
But with the Fort Hood shooting and Government Motors foibles, this story will be lost on most voters.
