Tag: Gary Peters (page 2)By BillMurphy, Section News
Senator Harry Reid and Co-Leader Chuck Schumer are considering a vote on legislation to blindly increase the federal debt limit without any spending reforms or cuts to begin to alleviate the massive debt burden Washington has created. Gary Peters has been a big spender throughout his time in Washington. In fact, when Gary Peters was sworn into office in 2009, the national debt was $10.6 trillion. Today our debt is an eye-popping $16.7 trillion.

Unfortunately, I live in the district controlled by globalist turd, Gary Peters. Apparently, this steaming pile of excrement is running for the senate.
Last night while watching the Tigers clinch the Central Division, for the third year in a row, I saw this anti-Peters ad and had to share it. (5 comments, 161 words in story) Full Story By JGillman, Section Multimedia
Peters is the guy the Dems will be presenting as their choice for US Senate.
This ad mocks Peters Washington record, and abuses the pure Michigan campaign slightly.

As we reach yet another debt ceiling, Gary Peters writes the "turn around" specialist-in-chief...
Rep. Gary Peters wrote President Barack Obama on Friday, calling on him to create a Detroit Interagency Task Force to help the Motor City rebound from its record-setting bankruptcy filing. If this is Lon Johnson's frilliant idea for publicity, he just turned off the rest of the state. (1 comment) Comments >> By Corinthian Scales, Section News
An interesting piece happened to turn up on Roll Call regarding the number of former SoS entering U.S. Senate races.
"We may have decent name ID, but it's weak brand ID. That was something I discovered when I ran," Grayson continued. "Despite the higher profile, it's not like it's a natural pivot into the next statewide race. And I think sometimes that puts us in a bit of a tough spot, because there's this perception that maybe we're stronger candidates than we really are." So, one has to ask, exactly what has Terri Lynn Land done other than hold a ho-hum title? I mean besides running an abject failure 2010 campaign with this twice failed anti-2A dope that split the Party just enough to allow Rick Michigan's nose under the tent. Did a 2014 Senate candidate Terri Lynn Land lead a charge against Obamacare expansion in Michigan, known as Snydercaid? Nope. If you believe so, please, provide a link showing anywhere she did. It's not like Terri, and her hubby don't have the coin and didn't have the time to bird dog the Nerd bus crisscrossing the state when JenniRick embarked on his Tour de Harassment. Bottom line. Where the Hell is Terri Lynn Land?!?!

We KNOW the Democrats have abandoned any allegiance to the constitution, but its truly disturbing how 'our side' has characters that would so willingly disregard the TRUE rule of law. Once in a while we need to be reminded that the lefties HATE plant food.
Badly enough to risk Michigan manufacturing jobs as I have pointed out before: "Its a sure bet Michigan jobs will go away in certain parts of the upper peninsula, and given the backhanded way in which the current white house occupiers pee where they eat, it is likely not an isolated concern.¹ A billion here, a billion there. Hardly any pressure on the working stiffs when those costs are passed along.Right. Congress had already done its snow job pre-2010 election however. And today, President Obama will unveil his plan to bypass Congress to force a radical climate change plan which will have devastating ramifications for Michiganders.
Democrat Gary Peters (as with many others) worked to help elect Barack Obama, and as a Congressman, bears his own responsibility for setting the liberal enviro-whacko policy agenda that will destroy jobs, raise energy costs, and hurt working families in states like Michigan. Peters has been a loyal supporter of President Obama's liberal agenda, voting with him nearly 90% of the time, including on extreme climate change measures that would hurt Michigan's economy. Peters "proudly" supports the egregiously costly Cap and Trade legislation that work destroy jobs and raise taxes on middle class families and workers. Put down the muscatel.
Lets hear a story over a stiff shooter.
SHOT:
CHASER: If Gary Peters was actually worried about student loan rates, why did he oppose a bill to prevent the rates from doubling for Michigan students and then hide it from voters? ahhh.. Love the slow burn going down. (1 comment) Comments >>
