We KNOW the Democrats have abandoned any allegiance to the constitution, but its truly disturbing how 'our side' has characters that would so willingly disregard the TRUE rule of law. Joined by a large group of enthusiastic supporters at her home in Dearborn, Karen Jacobsen announced her campaign for Michigan's new 12th Congressional District against John Dingell. Visit Mrs. Jacobsen's campaign website here.
To be exact, for Socialized Medicine to "control the people" it legislatively took the Dingell Dynasty from 1943 to March 23, 2010 to be accomplished. Remember 2010 folks, John and Debbie Dingell directly profited from the Auto Bailout... (4 comments, 331 words in story) Full Story By Corinthian Scales, Section News
It sure didn't take long for the Dingellosaurus to do the Walk Back.
"I have a tremendous amount of confidence in Mayor Bing, and my comments about Detroit yesterday were a reflection on past Administrations that helped dig the hole the city finds itself in, not on the current Administration that is trying desperately to get the city out of the hole. I am and always have worked for the betterment of the City and its people, and I intend to continue that course..." Okay, Bing deserved the feigned apology. But. That wasn't what Johnny was "sniping". Dingell was blatantly "targeting" Governors. Unmistakably that'd have to point to fellow Democrat Governor Jennifer Granholm. Not to mention Dingells' reference to all "Stone-Agers" err, Conservative Republicans. Oh, Johnny... is there anything that he won't say? There once was a show on HBO called Tales from the Crypt that instantly came to mind when reading today's JOA News. Yes, Dearborn's very own Congressman Dingell or, the Crypt Keeper if you will, was busy playing a soft race-baiting card for the City of Detroits' $8,000,000,000.00 debt and "Targeting" Michigan's Republican legislature.
Washington-- Rep. John Dingell on Tuesday said the city of Detroit is in dire straits and needs state intervention to recover economically. Exactly where has the "Dean of the House" been for the past 8 years? I don't recall Johnny talking this way during his fellow Democrat Governor Granholm reign that was preoccupied with running the entire state into the ground. Did the City of Detroit just magically become a cesspool of corruption, poverty and indebtedness on January 1, 2011 when Governor Snyder assumed Office? Nope. I suspect there's more to this new interest in Detroit than Johnny is leading onto... (5 comments, 1363 words in story) Full Story By JGillman, Section Multimedia

It is time John Dingell is extracted from the legislative body.
A recent message from Michigan Campaign for Liberty highlights just a few recent reasons to send this unter schlaggen packing.
Essentially, the Act would federalize critical infrastructure security. Since many of our critical infrastructure systems (banks, telecommunications, energy) are in the hands of the private sector, the bill would create a major shift of power away from users and companies to the federal government. This is a potentially dangerous approach that favors the dramatic over the sober response.

Tomorrow is a big day.
Tomorrow, October 20 2010, Congressman John Dingell Faces Dr. Rob Steele of Ann Arbor in a Debate at Monroe Community College's La-Z-Boy Center. It is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. Congress' most senior legislator John Dingell faces the culmination of his life's work. He will get to defend the utter failure that is socialism. He will have to argue successfully, that Socialism has brought about good things for the area he represents. One must ask, how bright was the South Eastern part of the great state of Michigan in 1955 when Dingell first became a congressman, and what parts of his political philosophy has brought about the success he sees now? Should he first identify what he has personally done, or perhaps highlight the great achievements that have improved life for Michiganders who have entrusted him in Washington with their welfare? Indeed success speaks for itself, he might declare. And perhaps how Detroit has grown to become the shining jewel of the nation, and Michigan's manufacturing has grown to be the envy of the world, and indeed how such wonderful opportunity abounds! If it was true. (9 comments, 512 words in story) Full Story
