Friday's news that the PulteGroup Inc. - one of the nation's largest home builders - will move its Bloomfield Hills headquarters to Atlanta in 2014, prompted immediate public criticism from Quicken Loans' Dan Gilbert. At least Pulte's relocation doesn't rape Michigan taxpayers like it does to fill YOUR WALLET along with your Downtown cronies, DAN. (2 comments) Comments >> By JenKuznicki, Section News
Mark Levin linked to a story in the Atlantic about what former Governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, reads on a daily basis. She cited a number of progressive and liberal columnists, as well as liberal journalists and news outlets. But, she also had to tell all of us how she hates Rush and Mark Levin.
"If I had to name people I don't like, I'd say Rush Limbaugh or Mark Levin. It's that breed of real toxic-spewers who are really damaging to our discourse. I'd be embarrassed to have my mom or dad listen to them. I don't think they shouldn't be on the radio but when the rhetoric inflames and exaggerates to the point of lacking integrity, that bothers me." Mark Levin reacted, Aw Jennifer, the feeling is mutual... Heh, heh. I live in Michigan, and can talk for hours about how exactly Jennifer Granholm screwed over this beautiful State for many years to come. And, of course it is because of her leftist ideology that she obviously practices on a daily basis. The easiest way I can think of to persuade the reader that her ideology is the problem is simply to take what she said and translate it. Hey, we lived with her for eight years, Michiganders know her. The WHORES of the business world don't like the absurd being pressed back with the absurd apparently.
One advertiser, Quicken Loans pulled its ads from the Rush Limbaugh show, wishing to lose the contact between its slutty business model and Rush Limbaugh listeners. In a tweet march 2nd, the Detroit based businessman, generally squishy Republican Pete Hoekstra supporter and Clevelend Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert called out Rush Limbaugh in a fit of weird moderate pride. "Due to Rush Limbaugh's inflammatory comments along w/valuable feedback from our clients & staff,Quicken Loans has suspended ads on his show" Huh? I guess Dan doesn't know that Rush was actually talking about HIM. Its the whores of the business world like Dan Gilbert, who rely on taxpayer funds to screw his employees. Its sports team owners like this incredibly milquetoast Michigan Republican who rely on the public dole to make their dreams of team ownership come alive. Making his existing employees move and commute into a higher tax zone for the sake of a MEDC handout, and owning a team that probably has condemned family homes and private property taken in its development history. Just for money. What a slut. Here is some "valuable feedback" MR Gilbert. You have a lot of cash. And folks like you seem to think taxpayer provided money can buy anything. Go buy a conscience. Most people don't like the word "conspiracy" being tossed around when talking about American politics, so I won't use it.
But something's fishy about the way conservative talk radio show hosts are covering the GOP nomination process. I have been researching this topic and emailing media contacts for a few months now about Mitt Romney's financial connections to Clear Channel Radio and conservative talk show hosts like Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. What I found out was that Bain Capital actually purchased the syndication companies of major conservative talk radio shows shortly prior to the 2008 presidential election. Here's a great article about that: CLICK HERE More below ~ (1 comment, 279 words in story) Full Story By jenkuz, Section News

Uh oh. Fred Upton, a Republican from Michigan, is insisting he is worthy to chair the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and has written an Op Ed in the Washington Examiner titled, "Rep. Fred Upton: A new majority for America." In it, he describes what he will do if in fact he is chosen as chair, and reiterates his manly chainsaw approach to the budget, and unfortunately, uses the words, "shine the spotlight" on the Obama-Pelosi regulatory policies. Hang on, check the spotlight bulb first, is it the government-mandated type? (1 comment, 711 words in story) Full Story By Nick, Section News
Rush Limbaugh said he'd like to bulldoze Flint and kill everyone in the City. That according to Democratic state Representative Woodrow Stanley.
Responding to remarks Limbaugh made yesterday on his top rated afternoon radio program where he agreed with Genesee County Treasurer (and Democrat) Dan Kildee's suggestion that abandoned buildings and vacant space be torn down, Stanley and half of the Lefties in F-Town just plumb lost their minds. The Flint Journal Reports:
"Cities are not just buildings or concrete or trees -- cities are people," he said. "You're making reference to people and that is not appropriate at all." I don't like to devolve into personal insults and name-calling. I think by in large the entire community here at RightMichigan has been pretty good about sticking to issues, at least on this site, but Woodrow... you're either being hyper-partisan, intentionally dense a mile beyond the point of absurdity or you, sir, are an idiot. Period. Let's recap... (Please read on...) (16 comments, 652 words in story) Full Story |
